Since I have not yet been able to definitively figure out the issue I am posting some more info here, in the hopes that it helps someone else figure out another angle to try.

I’m bolding the plugins which are unique to a particular install. I should note that I tried installing Quick Page/Post Redirect and PHP Text Widget on the ‘working’ site (Website 2) and even with those plugins installed that site remained fine… so I don’t think those plugins are the issue.

I am uploading directly via WordPress through the plugin sections. I have tried various plugins none are are working. I have the latest version of Enfold (3.0.8) as well.

The error i am getting when installing gravity forms is could not create directory.

Thanks for your answer. I’ve been working on other stuff for a while and I’ve just seen your answer.

I’ve tried your code but it was changing all the text input fileds in the form, not only the datepicker ones, so it was not a good solution for me.

Just in case it’s helpful for others with similar issues, I’ve managed to change only the datepicker month and year input fields by targeting the css classes .ui-datepicker-month, .ui-datepicker-year , with !important declarations.

Still I like more the look and feel of the default form datepicker included in the Enfold theme (shortocode), so if there’s any further development in this regard to imporve the Gravity forms compatibility with ENFOLD, I’d be happy to upgrade.

There is nothing wrong with the server or the other website. As I mention before the other website is working fine with gravity forms and the other website where I am using enfold theme is not working with either form. I deactivate the wp SMTP plugin and still non of the forms are sending emails. I test different email accounts and nothing. What else could be causing the problem?

I solved the shortcode builder issue. It was due to another plugin.

But my form still doesn’t display on the published page.

Update: I looked in the html to see if anything was weird and I found the problem. The form had display: none

Here is the relevant html:

Any ideas on what can be causing the form to inherit this property of display:none?

Update: After doing more research it seems to be a javascript issue. My form has conditional logic which causes parts of the from to have display:none which then get toggled with JS based on form selections. I checked the footer.php and there is the wp_footer(); hook. So at this point I’m not sure what to do. I have a plugin called “Jquery updater” installed, but even with it deactivated the issue is still there.

I’m thinking this is a theme issue not a gravityforms issue.

I did. I narrowed this down to what appears to be a Gravity Forms issue. Thanks for helping out though.
