    I’ve just updated from 3.5something to 4.2.6. Since automatic updates didn’t work I had to update manually. To do so I unzipped the new theme package into the theme folder.

    Site became unavailable (frontend and backend) and is giving this error:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare av_countdown_events_fallback() (previously declared in /PATH/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown.php:10) in /PATH/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown/events_countdown.php on line 12

    I fixed it temporarily by deleting the entire folder: /avia-shortcodes/

    Obviously future updates might bring this folder back. How can I fix the error mentioned above?

    Hey,

    I’ve just updated manually via FTP from 4.2.2 to 4.2.6 (had to delete the events_countdown.php to get rid of that php error as you moved the file into a folder). Since the update, the fullwidth-buttons are broken (the Element Preview via the Avia Layout Builder shows the buttons still intact though). Hope somebody can help me out with this.

    Hi guys,
    I did the update from Enfold with Fillezilla (followed the tutorials) en… it is not working anymore. If you go to my site now, you see this message:
    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare av_countdown_events_fallback() (previously declared in D:\appdata\IIS\vhosts\casarindesign.com\httpdocs\wp-content\themes\enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-shortcodes\events_countdown.php:10) in D:\appdata\IIS\vhosts\casarindesign.com\httpdocs\wp-content\themes\enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-shortcodes\events_countdown\events_countdown.php on line 12

    I can use the backup to restore it but I really want to update the theme and then the WordPress… I hope you know were is the problem, I did not change any file outside the customisations settings…….

    So I cannot solve by myself.

    I’m in the same situation. Website in HANG with blank page after uodating to 4.2.6.
    Please, is I go to wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/ folder via FTP and remove events_countdown.php , does I resolve?

    I’m getting this error after trying to update my enfold theme from version 3.3.2 to the newest via to ftp. I get this error when I try an update the theme:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare av_countdown_events_fallback() (previously declared in /home/fighte14/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown.php:11) in /home/fighte14/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown/events_countdown.php on line 12

    When doing this I received an error so naturally i reverted back to the older theme. Now none of my content will load on my website. I have access via dashboard though…I tried changing to php but it did not fix anything. I looked at this thread but no solution.     I included my credentials. Please advise

    @alexledesma     please go to wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/ folder via FTP and remove events_countdown.php file and that would help.

    I have a big problem, I just updated the enfold theme and now my site does not appear, just a blank screen, contact my hosting provider and say that the enfold template has a big mistake.

    Hey,

    Please go to wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes folder via FTP and delete events_countdown.php file. It should be only inside wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown/ folder.

    If you do not mind, you can post FTP logins here privately and we can delete old file for you :)

    I updated Enfold ver to 4.2.6 and got HTTP ERROR 500. I checked with the hosting and they get:

    What is this? Can you fix it?

    Hi gianmarizzi,

    Please remove this file via FTP: /themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown.php, to see if that helps on 4.2.6. If not then please try to delete the entire theme folder and upload it again via FTP. If that doesn’t help either then please open a new thread and include access details to your site in private.

    The bloody support is open 24/7 but some of us need to sleep, eat and take care of our families sometimes.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the problems. Please try to remove this file via FTP: /themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown.php

    The reason why this needs to be done is because that file has moved to a new location in 4.2.6.

    I went to public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes folder via FTP and removed events_countdown.php file. Now the file is located in public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown/events_countdown.php.

    From Yesterday, my website is refusing to open. I was getting the Fatal error message as follows:

    I could not even get the login page and was getting Fatal Error message.

    With the help of Bluhost, I could recover the login page by changing the theme to a newer one.

    Hi,
    I’ve had multiple issues after upgrading to 4.2.6. I’ve followed a bunch of other posts here and have been able to fix most of them, but still having a few I’d love your help with. I have upgraded my PHP to 7, so I don’t think that’s the issue.

    Home

    The CSS for the buttons is now being ignored. Ones that should be centered are not anymore, there’s no padding, sizes are wrong, etc.

    The self hosted video doesn’t seem to be loading on the home page in the link above.

    Also, I had to remove the events_countdown.php file – it was causing the following fatal error. I upgraded automatically, upgraded via ftp – nothing worked to fix the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

    Earlier today I reached out because the products on my site are not lining up. The technician told me to update the theme, which I did and it fixed the problem.

    When I pushed the site from staging to production, the whole site went down. The guy at WPEngine told me there were the following errors on the server:

    Overwriting the new enfold theme on the current theme i get this error just visiting the home page (the home page contain the masonry -> source category post item)
