Topic: Blog Posts Excerpts {Enfold}
I am sure there is an easy way to assign this and that I am just missing it. Currently the blog is set to multiple authors. However, it shows the whole blog post rather than an excerpt and the option to read more. I have the blog set-up via the “And where do you want to display the Blog?” in the Enfold Theme Options.
Can you please direct me to where or how I can change these settings.

You don’t help me. What you say is what I read one and another time: generic explanations. No needs a support forum for finding this kind of answer.
I asked some specific questions in order to solve this trouble but you didn’t answer these questions.

I will be calling to font-face.com site and I dont want to do that. What I don’t know is how to point to my hosted fonts and I wrote the snnipets employed waiting get corrections.
Before I purchase the enfold theme, Kriesi says that his team would take care of me with this and other questions that I asked him and all I recieve until now is a pair of generic links, not a really specific answer for my needs. So, should I ask him in themeforest site about my font-face problems?

Thanks Ismael and Kriesi. I have considered other portfolio plugins, but don’t want to lose the current look and feel that matches the enfold theme, especially the ajax preview.
I would consider using something like this, http://wordpress.org/plugins/infinite-scroll/. Can you at least provide the selectors to use for Content, Navigation, Next, and Item that are required for this plugin or point me to the correct file location? This is a big issue for our site as the portfolio items are the showcase of our site. Regards.
Topic: Theme wont install
When trying to activate the theme I am getting the following error messages:

Once the theme is activated I can’t even access my WP back end. I have to manually delete the theme folder via FTP.

This is not possible without creating a new layout element. Even if you’re using a fullwidth content element you’re limited by the content area width of 1210px. You can add your idea to the wishlist though: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-feature-requests – maybe Kriesi is interested in such a content/map element.
Add [nolink] after your desired message in the Copyright section of the Footer settings.
Example: Copyright Webmaster 2013 [nolink]

Nevertheless I have one question. I understand what caused the problem was because I should have only “repeat” for the images but was it possible for me to do it without your help? Actually, I couldn’t chose only “repeat” in enfold admin (see link above), could I?

About the enfold 1.6 can you tell me how it works? the theme I’ve worked with before, I updated directly from wordpress…
Here do I have to download it from my themeforest and send it as a zip using wordpress admin? Will there be any consequence on my layout or will I keep everything like it is?
Moreover, when I make an upgrade of the theme, do I loose the css I have put in quick css with the old version?

Topic: Blogroll Links on Sidebar
Hi, we only want posts/links from our blog to be listed in our sidebar. However, if you go to Enfold > Sidebar > Custom Widgets and put Blogroll inside, it lists links such as: Documentation, Plugins, Suggest Ideas, Support Forum, Themes, WordPress Blog and WordPress Planet.
How do we get the sidebar to list posts that we’ve posted in our blog?

Is it possible to remove the “Enfold Theme by Kriesi” signature at the bottom of the website? It isn’t a train-smash, as we understand the purpose. But is it possible?
If you go to Enfold – Stylize, you can customize the entire theme’s color scheme there. So what is the purpose of the “Color Section” button when editing a page? If you try drag it onto an element, it does nothing. I cannot seem to find information on how to use this. Does anybody know? Simply curious.

4) Yes, unfortunately WP will use the taxonomy name on portfolio category pages and you can’t change the slug without changing the taxonomy name. On the other hand you can’t change the taxonomy name because we hardcoded/use it on various places within the framework.

It holds the css style that you specify on Enfold > Styling. Open the file wp-contentuploadsdynamic_aviaenfold.css then change something on Enfold > Styling, save changes. You will be prompt to reload the enfold.css file because something has change on the css.

Building a new site using Enfold and I prefer the default gallery (because with the Enfold gallery the thumbnails get too small as the site scales down for mobiles), and the lightbox function does not seem to work. Any ideas?
Hi I have ancountered folowing issues while setting up a site with you Enfold theme:
1. How to turn off sidebar for whole portfolio
2. How to turn off breadcrumbs for whole portfolio
3. How to get rid of “Enfold Theme by Kriesi” attached to my own Copyright text
4. When I enter portfolio category the slug is “portfolio_entries” despite the fact I have entered another one in setting. When displaying protfolio item page then the slug is correct.

I did follow all of your tips in each screenshot and apart from the Theme Options within Enfold for the blog which were not set to “Blog” initially and this only caused the “Blog – Latest News” link to go to my hompeage instread of the Blog homepgae, all the others where exactly already set as you later suggested and the page looked exactly as I wanted it to be.
When I inserted the css inside the quick css field and saved it, the image gets to the left instead of being centered as it was correctly before. If I don’t insert anything in the quick css field, the image is correctly placed in the center.
If I do not select “Blog” inside the Theme Options and leave it as is, the page looks perfect (without your css) but the link is still to the website homepage. If I do select “Blog”, then the image is no longer centered and the problem with the blog not showing the excerpts anymore but the entire articles in one single page is recurring.

2.) Sorry about it, its suppose to say “vertically” rather than horizontal. And now that I have seen the enfold responsive mobile version.
I was thinking if i could allign the logo to the top left

In my image below, first is the my current screenshot. 2nd is the enfold one. and 3rd is the one that I want to achieve.
Basically I want to remove the black space on top ( see 1st image ) , allign logo vertically, and also to the top left.
Menu to the top right and also allign vertically.
The header background image no longer repeats vertically or if given an alternative just remove the header image and change it to a solid color?
3.) As for the text in the slider you are right , it’s visible but it’s small. I may plan to increase the font size or just use the google font ( might want to play around with a similar looking type ).
4.) As for the layer not showing, you can see in the screenshot the blue gradient line ( in the layer slider ) doesn’t appear.
5.) Is there a way to do like inspect element on mobile phones like firebug in browsers etc ?

Hi guys, I am really happy with the Enfold theme I recently bought. Beautiful!
I am editing the blog and would like to change a few things that I couldn’t locate in other threads:
1. Currently the number of comments and date are displayed in the blog thumbnails in grid layout. I would like to have only author and date – how can that be done?
2. I have comments activated because I want to allow only facebook comments, but no wordpress. As you can see in the following post, both WP and facebook comments are displayed (in fact, facebook comments turned into WP’s). This looks bad and does not make sense. I also would like to remove the word “Comentários”. => http://transforme.is/20-maneiras-de-encontrar-a-sua-vocacao/
