Topic: Enfold custom.css
Hi,
As you’ve mentioned in your WordPress theme, Enfold>Styling tab>Quick CSS note, user can add his own configuration to override them on theme defaults. And for a complete change he can use custom.css file. I trying to override my configuration but till now no success. I want to change the font size of headers (h1 and h2) on my all pages plus lots of other changes. Is there anything else that has to be done in order to make it work? Or is there any kind of syntax that has to be met?

The thing is the demo content, and the demo site aren’t the same, but I wish they were : )
1. The alignment of the items in the the “Enfold – most beautiful theme ever” slider are not the same. The demo site almost appears to have individual layers that are somehow grouped and thus display as being centered (the majic I would loved to replicate) however the demo content has layers that have a specific placement that appear in drastically different locations depending on the horizontal width.
2. Further to the point that they are different; the backgrounds on from the demo content and the demo site are not the same.
If you couId advise how the alignment of the layers in the “Enfold – most beautiful theme ever” slider on the demo site were achieved it would be greatly greatly appreciated.

I have arranged my landing page as a group of eight categories that link to the sub-categories, which then link to the array of products in that category. But on that last page the image of that sub-category appears side to side at the top. How to remove that image and replace it with a heading? That image, which I discovered by inspecting the element with Chrome, appears to be a category-thumb…

Enfold theme
As the title suggests, I’d like to get the updated example content from Enfold into my theme to alter/play around with (especiallyt he Ajax content)…however, I have already uploaded dummy data from a previous version…so
Is there a quick and easy way to WIPE the dummy data (or all the data-I can rebuild what I have done thus far) and start fresh?

First off, I’m a big fan. Your Enfold theme rocks! Even though I’m a WordPress newbie, I was able to get it working/running with relatively little stress. That said, when I test my page; http://www.pctuneupcenter.com on mobile phones and tablets, it doesn’t render properly. Have you got any idea why? [When I first installed the theme, it worked on my phone, so it must be something that I have done]. Is it the Tablepress plugin that’s causing the problem, or might it be something else?
I’d be very grateful on any insights you may have, as I’m completely stuck…

@Dude, I have already try both of your kind recommendations, but unsuccessful.
Also when I have tried to activate the LayerSlider as plugin, I have got the following: “Fatal error: Cannot redeclare layerslider_load_lang() (previously declared in /home/info/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/layerslider.php:101) in /home/info/public_html/wp-content/plugins/LayerSlider/layerslider.php on line 102” May you kindly advise me some correct modification of config-file? My customer would like to use the translated LayerSlider with page builder and with shortcode too, if it is possible with powerful Enfold theme.
Hi, we have two sites with WordPress, both based on the Enfold theme. They are meant to be sister sites so other than content and layout, their color schemes have to be identical. But, one site is accepting my changes and the other is not. It keeps saying “Alright, sparky – changes saved” etc. but the changes aren’t actually taking place. If you return to the Enfold>Styling options menu, it shows the colors set to what I want, but the actual published page is not showing these changes. The other site, however – is working fine. Could it be a bug, perhaps?

Anyway for the moment my site is working fine so I’m happy I’ve been able to achieve what I wanted and I love the fact that if one day I’m bored with the way it looks and I want to make some change the Enfold theme is a great theme for that purpose.

No, this is not possible without creating the pagination manually. However you can create a link list manually and use the standard enfold pagination styling for the links:

Hi,
You can override the theme files via FTP. You will not lose the content. For security purposes, create a backup of your old theme files and your database. Take note of the files you modified.
Enfold 1.7 has been released. Please download it on your themeforest account.

Hi,
actually Enfold should import two demo slides when you activate the theme. Go to “LayerSlider WP” > All Sliders and search for the “Why Enfold – Small Header” and “Enfold – most beautiful theme ever” sliders. Both sliders contain the effects from the demo website.

I found the problem – Chrome gives me 3 errors on your website:

I’d use ftp to check the directory content and compare it to the themeforest theme files.

1) Try to change the file names to LayerSlider-ru_RU.mo and LayerSlider-ru_RU.po
2) If it doesn’t work try Kriesi’s suggestion: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/how-to-insert-slide-show-with-layerslider#post-118722 – by going this way you can l install LayerSlider as “plugin” and WP should load the right textdomain files.

On your Enfold demo (http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/) the layers in the homepage Advanced Layerslider remain centered regardless of the width of the browser. However on my install of Enfold (version 1.7) all the layers in the slideshow are left-aligned.

I’ve tried re-downloading the latest version of Enfold and reinstalling but the problem persists. I have even tried installing of the the dummy data but the problem persists.
How do I make the Advanced Layerslider’s layers remain centered regardless of the width of the browser?

I had the same problem as shorty with this one. Once I clicked the read more I was redirected to the blog post…but it still only showed me the excerpt. Do you have any other suggestions? I have hundreds of posts i would rather not have to go back to each of them individually.

Can you please consider adding some flexibility to the breadcrumbs location. It would be awesome if the breadcrumbs were a short-code and I could insert them to my own area on the page. Right now, the current location is not good, since I’m using my own header image and my users prefer to have them above the article title. By the way, thanks for all the updates. Can’t wait for the masonry blog layout. Thanks.
