Hello Dude,
I need to translate the theme onto Russian, but only the front part for website visitors, keeping the back part original. Is it indicated in PO file such difference ? (I may provide you then the _RU version with the front part translated.)

Can we take a look at the site live? The header shrinks as part of the option to have a fixed header. You can also set your header to a fixed height using the css Kriesi posted in the FAQ for the theme here: http://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990/faqs
We can assist if we can take a look at the site live but otherwise you can use that css and adjust as you’d like it (if that is what you are looking for).
As an aside, our support queue goes by oldest post first so when you self respond or bump a topic it actually sends it to the back of our queue. I just happened to have this topic still open from earlier and when I clicked on it I saw the new response (otherwise it would not have been in my queue).

I am presently working on a site based on „Enfold“ with a lot of identical sub-pages concerning schools in Australia.
For these special subpages I made a sample page/Template with the avia layout builder and this works fine, but I would like to reduce the space/distance between the single elements oft the lists in the middle part of the page and probably also the spacing between the single lines. How can I do this without an impact to rest of my regular non-school sites?

Hi, I’m still new to WordPress and your theme, but I’ve been searching for a way to get structure in both the site and the cms. The following example is exactly what I intend to achieve, but instead of based on “posts” I’d need it to be based on the “portfolio” of the Enfold theme.

Instead of “Recipes”, “Photos” and “Videos” I would set up “Customers”, “Partners” and “Products”. Because “Posts” are too limited in content layouting (Advanced layout builder) I would need these to be exactly like the Portfolio category in your theme, even the way they are listed on the site (isotope) needs to look exactly like the portfolio.
So my question is: Can I ‘duplicate’ the Portfolio category the same way that video showed by duplicating the posts category? I really hope so! (I would do all the coding myself, based on the Lynda.com extended tutorial and I have a PHP developer to assist me if necessary)

I would really like to have this feature in avia layout builder:
– option to include Page post type in post slider (for instance: display all child Pages’ (of single parent page) featured images and titles.)
There might be a work around for you. if you go to
enfold > General Settings > Body Style
and set it to “Grid Layout”
It seems in this setting, the “featured image” is not shown in the blog posts.
However, I still would like a smaller (81px) “featured image” in my blog posts.

Hi Ismael, thanks for your reply, but I don’t understand: I put a portfolio category in my menu and called it Projects. When I click Projects I see a page with a preview of my portfolio items and a sidebar with all my pages, posts etc. I don’t want that sidebar. I also chose “Don’t display sidebar navigation” in Enfold Theme Options, but nothing happened.

Greetings,
I know the LayerSlider is simply ‘included’ and I apologize for what is probably such a easy answer. Where can I find more examples of what can go in the Custom Styles box? Is it just any css codes?
Also where does it pull the fonts from that is allowed in the fonts box (LayerSlider)? Google Web Fonts? I would like to change the fonts of some of the text LayerSlider uses but not sure where to find a font listing it allows.
edit: I learned LayerSlider uses the font installed/available by the theme or plugins, so w/o installing the Google Fonts Plugin, how can I just get a list of fonts available from the enfold theme?

Try to create a fresh installation of WP then place the Enfold folder on wp-content/themes.
Activate the theme on Appearance.

vielleicht habe ich es ja übersehen, aber kann es sein dass im enfold setup keine einstellungen für den jw player drinnen sind.
zb so dass ich dort einfach die beiden betreffenden links reinkopieren kann und es dann für die ganze seite funktioniert.

I have a site set up with wordpress 3.4 and when I activate the Enfold theme, all of the text editing tools disappear on the page and post edit screens. Also the text that is there in the pages is white on a white background, and also the HTML option is disabled? As soon as I activate the default theme it all comes back again.
Any idea what to do???

Just finished my latest webpage with the Enfold theme and now that all is published, the mobile version is not showing..it actually behaves kind of weird, it seems to reload (infinite). Please try http://www.northware.mx and you will see.
Please help and sorry for starting a new thread. I must have overlooked this type issue.

I tested this using the enfold logo however this is only going to work on a non-fixed header. Please try to import the dummy data and test this one. Put this code on your custom.css

Topic: Mobile Splash Page
Hello Everyone. For our future site we need a kind of “Mobile Splash Screen” something like a modal splash screen that ease the access to direct functions/buttons that would be nice to have when you visit from mobile: tap to call, tap to email, dismiss and continue to the website etc.
Anybody knows a plugin (free/paid) or code snippet that can provide this functionality and plays nice with Enfold?. There is no need for it to be a turn-key solution since we would like to code the actual splash page contents, is the mobile detection and modal framework what we need.

I just bought your enfold wordpress theme and im very impressed about the mass of helpfull features. Thank you for this great theme!
Please help me to find a solution for this case:
I am using the “small fixed header”, so the logo scales down when scrolling down.
Now I would like to add a hover effect to the img logo. I have already tried a lot, but didn’t archived it yet.

With Enfold 1.4 you can set different sidebar options
-) for archive pages
-) single posts
-) standard pages
-) blog page
You can overwrite these settings on a per entry basis (posts/pages).

The site has been moved to the domain and the form still isnt working. (www.barrysbirthdaybash.com) The web address does not match the email address set in the form. it is a work site on our own servers, so is there something I can tell our IT guys to look for? my tech knowledge only goes so far. The form if you try it, just blanks out after you click send. nothing is displayed and no auto response is received.
I’m using Enfold in the “multisite” environment. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. The only plugin I have on the Enfold site is bbPress.
The button shortcode is not working. It just shows up literally as below on the webpage.

And, when I try to use the “insert shortcode” generator to create a button, I get the error message “An error occurred. It seems your are no longer logged in. Please reload the page and try again”
I even upgraded to the latest Enfold version 1.4 and tried it all different browsers (IE10, Firefox, Chrome) – and none are working.

Hi Aleksandr,
The portfolio post type should transfer over when you active Enfold. The data is quite a bit different however as with Enfold, the portfolio items only have a single featured image and then custom content inside of the portfolio item (so it can be whatever you want).
Posts/pages will also transfer over automatically but the layouts will all need to be re-done since the new theme has a completely different system.

When you create separate categories under a portfolio, pagination includes all categories instead of the category you are currently in.
