purchased enfold and angular downloaded- need enfold asap!
Thanks
HI, I have a problem with easy slider too. Running 3.6 and 1.9.1 enfold. The slider stops after the second picture, but there are 4 pictures. I´am using Chrome. Testing IE the slider works.
Testimonial Slider only cycles one time
I have set up a testimonial slider with 2 testimonials set for 5 seconds and the page loads cycles through the testimonials once but does not restart like the Enfold demo theme does…
http://209.208.95.136/
But looking at the Demo Data testimonials page in my test site it has 4 set up in it and it actually is stopping on the 2nd one when viewing the page…
http://www.xmspub.com/wordpress/shortcodes/testimonials/
So the slider is not going past 2nd testimonial on 2 sites…

Hey!
The “large responsive” layout (1210px). The bug does not occur if I use the standard layout (1030px).
Best regards,
Peter
Hi bjornsennbrink,
Enfold is at version 1.9.1 at this point but if you are getting an error only when debug is one it is probably not a big issue.

Devin
Hi Josh,
First thing to try is update your Enfold installation as I believe there were some fixes for this in one of the 1.8 versions.
Regards,
Devin
Thanks Peter.
What’s the difference? I’m curious.
Hi!
I forwarded it to Kriesi. I now know why it doesn’t work on your server and why it does work on my server and we’ll find a fix. I’m just not sure what’s the best solution yet.
Best regards,
Peter
Just something to keep an eye on (I’m watching as you work): http://www.secondshifters.com/2013/08/05/podcast-episode-96-dagnabbit/
That post appears to have broken by what you did to fix the Cell Division page.
I just checked my “error logs”… could this be the problem with Safari?…
Code:
[Tue Aug 06 12:02:27 2013] [error] [client 66.249.73.190] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /nas/wp/www/cluster-1682/netchoice/wp-content/themes/enfold/index.php on line 9
This is probably a silly question, but how do I update Enfold? I’m on 1.5.1. Through WP Admin there’s no Update option, and neither through Themeforest. Can anyone give quick instructions? Thanks
I use the Google Maps Widget and above that it there are a couple of error messages. The widget is working, the map is displayed. Message displayed after having Debug set to true in wp-config.

Switching Between Advanced Layout Editor and Default Editor Stopped Working
Since WP 3.6 and or Enfold 1.9 I have noticed that things created in the Advanced Layout Editor do not appear in the default editor any more (I use this to steal the shortcodes all of the time…
At the same time if you create something in the default editor… ie.. Testimonial and switch to the Advanced Layout Editor it is there but then immediately switch back to the default on and then it is gone again…
Something needs updating….

I backed up my quick CSS section, so if you need to change something there, that’s okay.
I am seeing that your tabs appear to be broken on your replica of our page… I’m not sure if that was intentional or not.
First, I love the Enfold theme. It generally works great. However, in this case I am building a real estate website and have to use a plugin called dsIdxpress. Basically the plugin uses shortcodes to display real estate listings within WordPress. When I use Enfold’s Advanced Layout editor (even if it just a blank page, with a text block, holding the shortcode) it appears breaks get inserted in the middle of html tags, causing the page to be broken. If I use the Default Editor within Enfold, it works great.
Here is a good page (done with the default editor):
http://parkcityproperty.com/test-default-editor/
Here is a broken page (done with advanced layout):
http://parkcityproperty.com/test-advanced-layout/
The shortcode for dsIDXpress in both examples is:
[idx-listings city=”Coalville” orderby=”DateAdded” orderdir=”DESC” count=”30″ showlargerphotos=”true”]
In trying to figure things out, I came across an old thread that describes a similar problem and provides a fix (but it is so old, that it may not be applicable any more). I wanted to provide it, in case it may help:
https://c.getsatisfaction.com/diversesolutions/topics/idxpress_css_issues_with_new_theme
Anyhow, I really appreciate any help that can be provided.
thanks

Update: I forgot to mention what version I was on. I appear to be on 1.7 of Enfold.
WordPress version 3.6
Enfold version 1.9
Can place post slider but it won’t rotate more than once. Post slider will advance to the second set of three posts when clicking on the forward button but after that it won’t rotate in either direction. Using default post slider settings of 3 columns with 9 posts.
Hey!
Yes you’re right but it still works for me: http://test.inoplugs.com/impressum/
I’ll check this on your server asap.
Regards,
Peter
very sad – there is still no advanced layout editor for posts.
To get it I have to patch:
/wp-content/themes/enfold/template-builder.php
/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/config/meta.php
works fine – but why do I have to add this patch with every update? Why is there no change in the Enfold distribution?
Cheers,
Detlef
Hi!
Did you try to select “no sidebar” for pages on the theme options page (Enfold > Sidebar)?
Regards,
Peter
Hi nyh,
I’ve not had any issues for any of the sites I’ve built or the demo of Enfold with my Galaxy S2, S1 or S3. The S2 is my personal phone and the others I’ve tried out at various times in testing.
My guess is that you have too many big images trying to load in on the home page at once which is causing mobile browsers to have issues.
The big background images in your slider and even the image of the books is a bit big for web use and could use with being optimized to create smaller files.
Regards,
Devin
You should have the login info now. Let me know if you don’t get it.
I’ll email you the login data, but I think you’re missing the part where I said to put it in a 1/3 width section.
That should work for you but let us know if you have any other issues :)

Devin
Hi
I am using The Events Calendar plugin (http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/) on my test site which seems to work really well with Enfold. The only issue I am having is getting the calendar to display on a page without the sidebar showing. Here is my live page currently: http://www.robgibbs.co.uk/SRtestsite/events/
I cannot see a way of removing the right sidebar. Any recommendations?
Thanks,
Rob
The problem is I can’t reproduce this bug on my test servers. When I add the shortcode into a page it displays just fine: http://test.inoplugs.com/impressum/
Please create me a wordpress admin account and send me the login data to: (Email address hidden if logged out) – I’ll look into it.
I think you’re probably using the same debug method I just tried, so I’ll save you a bit of time. If I ‘inspect element’ on chrome and find the 60px line you had me add, I can then edit it down to 40px, and on my display it suddenly looks great. However, once I actually plug 40 into the code you gave me in the Quick CSS box and refresh, the volume slider still drops below the player. I suspect maybe some javascript rewriting is going on perhaps? Maybe I’m on the wrong track there, but hopefully that helps you test it on your end.
By the way, in case you want to try to re-create this somewhere else for testing, all you’re seeing there is an icon box in a 1/3 width section. Inside the icon box, for the actual content part of it, I have this audio tag:
Code:
[audio src="https://www.secondshifters.com/interviews/Cell_Division_Interview.mp3"]
Hi Peter,
Thanks for getting back with me. The volume slider is what I was referring to; you are correct. Sadly, your CSS didn’t do the trick though: http://www.secondshifters.com/music/cell-division/
Just updated Enfold. and the LayerSlider works now fine! Thank you guys!
