Ignoring those scripts, is there no way I can use the scripts powering the ‘back to top’ button that comes with the theme?
Scroll back to the top of the page. Use a screen width above 768px and below 1024px. Immediately after the page loads, the logo stretches wider. I have verified on multiple PCs using multiple browsers.
Do you think I would have opened this thread if this wasn’t a legitimate bug? Why aren’t you taking this seriously?
I’m getting complaints from a number of readers that text is blurry on iOS 7. It went GM a couple weeks ago, any chance you might have a fix for this soon?

Just like when you click the #numbers on the top corners of these posts.
Aha, yes it was just cache’d really heavily. While I have you, I have another question…
I have all my links as in-page anchor links, like
<a href="#chapter3"></a>
and I really want them to be ‘eased’ when the page jumps like the ‘back to top’ button does. Is that something I can do? Is there a class which I can add to those tags to attach that animation?
Hello!
Have you tried flushing browser cache and refreshing page a few times?
Line-height changes to 50px once you scroll down. CSS code above forces it to stay 100px
Cheers!

The Mobile Menu and Regular Menu are overlapping.

You can see in my screenshot that both menus are overlapping. This is true in IE, FF and Chrome. When i first saw this i had done some adjustments to the CSS and thought i messed it up. After carefully diving into my adjustments, i couldn’t find the error. So i reinstalled the theme from scratch, started over. When i found the same error in the reinstall, i went back to themeforest and checked the demo, the problem is in the base code. So this had nothing to do with what i’ve done. I know it’s a CSS or Media Query issue, how can we fix it?
Hello,
I have two questions.
Firstly, on my home page I have a grid layout. When resized the thumbnails don’t seem to fit into the boxes properly leaving grey spaces which doesn’t look good. It is a static home page and here are the settings in the grid widget:
Blog Style: Grid Layout
Columns: 3
Grid Layout: Title only
Preview Image size: Manual (Select Thumbnail size)
Image size: Portfolio Small (260×185)
Post No: 9
No Pagination.
What I am aiming to achieve is as show on the Enfold demo: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/blog/blog-grid/
I have regenerated the thumbnails but unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be the problem. Does anybody have any idea how to fix this?
Second question…..
On the enfold deom (here: http://j.mp/16mzlnJ) you can see that the geatured images in posts are all the same dimensions but when clicked on the images are actually different sizes.
I am wondering how I can make all featured images the same sizes on my posts rather than just the size of the actual image.
Thanks for any help :)

Hi bkheld!

Hi Guys!
I’ve got my site online:
http://entreventos2.lafabricadigital.com.mx/
Issues I’m having trouble with:
1. Menu Links: Placing cursor exactly over links does not work. Link is below type.
2. I used a smaller logo (227 x 123px) than the recommnded maximum size on the administrator theme options which is 340 x 156 px, nevertheless logo keeps resizing. I don’t want that because it loses resolution, original size is -almost- pixels perfect :)
3. On resposive, logo falls over my <div id=header-top>, also breadcrumbs and main container are not where they should be, For sure is the margin I’m using in desktop viewport.
4. Fixed Header with social icons and links falls over header-top image. Maybe client would request taht in the near future.
Maybe making header-top image responsive (reducing size as viwport changes) would help?
Here is the code:
Header.php
<div id='header' class=' header_color <?php avia_is_dark_bg('header_color'); echo " ".$headerMenu; ?>'>
<!-- This is my extra div element-->
<?php echo '<div class="header-top"></div>'; ?>
<!-- Ends extra div element-->
<?php
$social_args = array('outside'=>'ul', 'inside'=>'li', 'append' => '');
//subheader, only display when the user chooses a social header
if(strpos($headerS,'social_header') !== false)
{
?>
Custom CSS:
.container_wrap {
border-top: none;
}
.header-top {
position: relative;
z-index: 400;
width: 100%;
height: 80px;
background-color: transparent;
background-attachment: scroll;
background-image:url(../../themes/enfold-child/images/header_image_2.png);
background-position: center top;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
margin-bottom: -50px;
}
.title_container{
margin-top: 35px;
}
Needless to say I’m not sure if I’m doing this the right way. I’ll appreciate your help a lot.
Thank you, regards.
Hey jamorel!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling
.fullsize .content { margin-left: -50px!important; }

Hi ev0l_!
Re-download the theme files from your downloads on ThemeForest and then re-upload the config-layerslider folder to your theme files.
The LayerSlider shortcodes have been disabled however since the regular usage doesn’t work with the theme. You can add in a LayerSlider slideshow using the Advanced Layout Builder instead.

Devin
Hello!
Can you try the same thing here: http://kreaturamedia.com/layerslider-responsive-wordpress-slider-plugin/
That way we can quickly see if its a LayerSlider issue directly or in the implementation in Enfold.

Devin
Hi!
I have tested using the shortcodes from the layerslider WP but they dont show up on the page.
If I go from the wp-admin to LayerSlider WP ->Transition Builder I have the following error message at the top:
“Warning: file_get_contents(): Unable to access /home/virtual/websitename/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/sampleslider/sample_transitions.js in /home/virtual/websitename/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/builder.php on line 14 Warning: file_get_contents(/home/virtual/websitename/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/sampleslider/sample_transitions.js): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/virtual/websitename/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/builder.php on line 14”
I have the latest WordPress version, latest Enfold version and I have tested deactivate all plugins but still have the same?
Hello omakad!
For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750

Hello Marcel!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling for the 1st one
.social_header .phone-info span { font-size: 18px; }
Can you show the custom css you have applied? And a link to your website would be very useful.
Best regards,
Yigit
Greetings –
I would like to modify the lightbox popup/nav code that is generated by the ‘av_gallery’ shortcode to more closely emulate how the default WP ‘gallery’ works. The WP ‘gallery’ shortcode places each included media item’s Title in the description area below each picture, just to the right of the nav buttons, but the ‘av_gallery’ code tends to put the media item’s Description (text field) in that area. This difference ends up being significant on my site.
I believe I’ve found the code which generates the relevant gallery code in wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/gallery.php. Can you confirm that the shortcode_handler() function is the right code to modify?
Also – I am using enfold-child, and therefore can you confirm the correct procedure to override that function? Do I create a copy of the path/file from the parent, or do I simply place a modified function in the child theme’s functions.php?
Thanks!
I’m using the Enfold them, and have sidebars on all my pages other then my front page, which is a custom home page. I have the search widget in the sidebar, which generates a nice large search box on all the pages other than the front page, for which I don’t want to put a sidebar. But I can’t seem to get the same search box to show up on the front page.
As a test, I’ve been able to put this search box on an ordinary page, pasting the widget code into a text box on an ordinary page. No problem. But when I try that on the front page, it gets knocked out by the system. I assume there must be some special problem with using that code on a front page.
Here is the code I’ve successfully used on an ordinary page, but can’t get to stick on the front page:
<div class=”widget clearfix widget_search” id=”search-2″><form id=”searchform” action=”http://northshoreunitarians.ca/” method=”get”>
<div><input class=”button” id=”searchsubmit” type=”submit” value=”

Excellent! This worked to solve the problem. One question I have though, I am using the Child theme. As you may have seen we made some modifications to bring the content up into the slider. I want to make sure that if there are WordPress updates, and I update my Enfold Parent theme, that my custom changes will not be lost.
I know if I only update certain files, I would be safe, but on the last Enfold update, I just copied the whole Enfold folder and did overwrite all. If I do that again I would lose those avia.js changes. Is there an easy way to move that to the child theme?
Thanks again for you help! I love this theme.

Thanks Yigit!
This doesn’t seem to solve the problem though. When you scroll down the page te background, logo and highlights stay static but the text links move upwards.
Any ideas?
Hello tocal!
Please add following code to Quick CSS as well
.main_menu ul:first-child > li a { line-height: 100px!important; }
Your website looks awesome by the way!

Hi,
I just purchased the Enfold WP theme, but I am planning to use it with a ZEND Framework Project. Therefore I’d rather have the HTML Files instead of the PHP files that require WP to generate a HTML page in the process.
Do you offer the Theme as single HTML Pages as well? Or do I need to install WP and get the generated HTML Code via the browser?
Thanks in advance!
Cheers…
I am trying to make the fixed nav in enfold remain the same size as the user scrolls. I have acheived the sizing but the text links still scroll inside the container and I can’t find the command to keep them centred. See here: http://noodle.19grams.co.uk
Hello!
In the Enfold theme options go to General Settings>Responsive Layout. You can then select the smaller layout from there.
If you are using the Fixed Layout currently then you would need to modify the grid.css file with your new widths.
Cheers!
Devin
Hey franpat!
You should go to Enfold theme options > Header and choose one of header types with social icons. And can you be more specific about icon box issue?
Cheers!

Liebes Kriesiteam,
eure Enfold Theme ist wirklich super. Tolle Arbeit!
Hi Yigit,
Thank you! I’ve upgraded to the latest version of WP and Enfold and things are working well now.
Really appreciate the fast response.

Hi!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling
.footer_color input[type='submit'] { background-color: #f05a1a; color: #ffffff; border-color: #f05a1a; }
.footer_color input[type='submit']:hover { background-color: #f05a1a; color: #ffffff; border-color: #f05a1a; }
Adjust second code for hover state
