Maybe you can use http://wordpress.org/plugins/s2member/ in combination with http://wordpress.org/plugins/sidebar-login/. The S2 plugin gives you a better user/member management and sidebar login allows you to hide certain pages if logged in or not. You can define different access levels for each page and post. Those access rights are linked with the user administration of WP. If a member doesn’t have the access right for a page or post and he or she visits, s2 displays the login page or the registration page.

Hello!
Try to remove the HR inside of the right column just above the ring image. It seems to be causing the issue in FF.
You could also try tweaking that images settings but I’m not sure if it would help since FF seems to have an issue with the HR element floating and the image under it not.

Weird, the iPhone is fine for me now too! Ok well that is done then.
I don’t understand why you see nothing in Firefox… that’s not good! Can you try again? The only issue I’m having in Firefox is with that image mentioned.

I had questions before and then just reverted to previous version so that my customers don’t see a version with errors, but I understand that to fix things you need to see them – in the spirit of helping make this the best theme there is I went back to the update so we can see what’s wrong and correct! Please help me asap though so that errors aren’t on my site for long =)
These are the main issues I’m having:
– In Firefox only, the image in the “about” section of the main page does not come all the way into the screen. It works fine on Safari.
– In iOS (iphone), the menu icon shows but next to it there is an icon of a female avatar, and this is the box to click to get the menu.
– In Safari, the bold text on the main page flickers between bold and not bold. Most apparent in the white text in the footer.I believe these were the only negative impacts of the update for me. Thank you for helping!

Hello – love your theme. The page layout editor is really powerful and the theme performs well.
On my site at eatdrinktc.com I am having difficulty customizing the menu – specifically the following.
- The entire background of the menu bar – so it is a single, solid color
- The color & hover color of top level and sub links
- The font size of the title in the bar below the menu
Normally I can use Firebug to determine what elements are in play but it appears that even when I add custom css into the quick code box it is over-ridden.

Topic: Theme Update Method
Hi,
When updating to a new version, the video instructs us to overwrite the existing theme folder. If I wanted to keep existing folder and copy the new theme via ftp to a new folder ie “enfold_update”, and then just activate the new version, is there a downside to doing this? If I remember my theme dashboard settings in case I need to re-enter, can I just update like this in case I need to easily revert to the old version?
Can this cause any problems?

There is a very long delay when accessing the blog link on my webpage at kimberfire.com. Much longer than any other link on the site. What would be the reason for this? Would it have anything to do with the fact that my theme folder is not called “enfold”? My developers called it “enfold_update”.
Ismael gave me some advice last week and told me to set the setting for the page to show the blog to blank and then insert the blog post element onto the page. I thought it worked but it didn’t unfortunately.

I’ve installed the Enfold a while ago and it was working fine. I recognized the new Button in the Editor (forgot the name of it… it was above the Image Upload button and the editor changed into a kind of designer). Then I updated my WordPress (to 3.6.1) and some plugins. I also installed WPML and made some other changes.
And now is the button not there anymore. I can’t say when exactly the button got lost. But can someone help me to get it back?

sorry for my english! i build this shop only for me to Train wp with themes and many plugins. when u can not help me in this Points, i would ask me give Solutions path or links i can read exactly in this theme or so. to put the finished side is not the goal. i will learn to edit the costum css or so and i will see the advance. the above points need not be all answered. if someone has an idea to a point, I would like to know this.

I am now starting with the SEO for my site and just ran the W3C CSS Validator. I was shocked as it showed my site has 325 CSS Errors!! A lot of them are inside of the Enfold Theme. And a bunch are on the Website. Where do they all come from?

Thanks Devin. Does it matter what the theme folder is called (ie should I just leave as the developers set it “enfold_update”)? Or can this be cause of slow performance etc? ie Does the theme look specifically for the folder name “enfold” to be containing it?

We have installed and been using the Enfold template for a while.
Any time we have a post that uses a picture that is portait instead of landscape it does not work properly in the sliders on the home page. They are aligned left and there is exta space to the right side of that image.
Other templates we have used generally just resize the photo so that it fits on the home page.
Is there a way to set it so that it will size the image properly?

Hi,
I’d like to upload the enfold update into a folder with a different name and then activate it. If I do this will I lose my theme settings? Also, if I change the name of the current theme folder will I lose my settings? What’s the best way to go about changing the folder name of the current theme?

Cannot seem to find a plugin anywhere.
I am using a widget to display our church sermons. There are dropdown boxes at the top for filtering purposes. Those boxes are not rendering as expected. They are blank rather than showing “Browse Series”, “Browse Speaker”, and “Browse Topics”. Please refer to: http://www.gatewaychurchtest.net/sandbox0/sermon-videos/
Those same boxes render properly with other themes and other sites. What CSS code can I add to Enfold to make the boxes preloaded with the expected prompts rather than blanks?

if you scroll down below the fold the layersliders and enfold elements start to appear through the upper navigation of the header. Is there a hotfix for this? Was working fine prior to the update.

I generated the webfont at http://fontello.com/, the uploaded the .zip file via the enfold panel.
The last part is the one I’m missing, how can I add the icon in a text widget?Any help is appreciated.
