Hi anristudio,
Please go to Enfold > Main Menu > Burger/Mobile Menu Styling (tab) > set Fly out Width.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Nikko
Hi galliulisse,
For the page preloader background color, please go to Enfold > General Styling > Main Content (tab) > set Default Background color.
Hope this helps.

Nikko
Hi galliulisse,
Please add this code in your child theme’s functions.php file:
function append_social_icons_to_menu_below(){
?>
<script>
var menu = document.querySelector("#header_main_alternate .av-main-nav");
var social_icons = document.querySelectorAll("#header .social_bookmarks li");
social_icons.forEach(list => {
menu.appendChild(list);
});
</script>
<?php
}
add_action('wp_footer', 'append_social_icons_to_menu_below');
If you don’t have a child theme yet, you can download and find the instructions here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/child-theme/
Best regards,
Nikko
Hi drewmalm,
Please extract/unzip the downloaded file from Themeforest (right-click over the downloaded zip file and click extract)
This should generate a new folder with the same name as the zip file, open it and look for the enfold folder
Right-click the enfold folder then zip it, here’s a tutorial on how to create a zip file in windows: https://www.howtogeek.com/668409/how-to-zip-and-unzip-files-on-windows-10/ (this should create enfold.zip
Use the enfold.zip file to upload in the WordPress Dashboard.
Best regards,
Nikko
Hi Julie,
Please try adding this CSS code in Enfold > General Styling > Quick CSS:
.page-id-1493 #av_section_1 {
background-color: transparent;
margin-top: -96px;
position: relative;
}
Best regards,
Nikko
Hi Margit,
You can fix the ipad display by adding this CSS code in Enfold > General Styling > Quick CSS:
@media only screen and (max-width: 989px) {
.html_header_top.html_logo_center #header .logo {
left: 0;
transform: translate(0);
}
}
As for mobile it seems good on my end, can you post a screenshot on your end? and maybe the changes that you would like to do and we’ll try to help you by providing CSS code.
Best regards,
Nikko
Bonjour jetsaveurs,
An update via FTP will not erase any of your customizations and your child theme since customizations are saved in the database and the child theme is a separate file, you will only be replacing Enfold theme files, however, we still recommend that you backup everything since unexpected crash do happen although rarely.
Best regards,
Nikko
Hi Scott,
We have no predefined travel set, however, we suggest you go to fontello and choose icons of your own liking and create your set of icons for travel there. Our Travel Demo only contains default icons.

Nikko
Hi,
I looked into this a little further and found another solution but please only use this solution on the same domain URLs, as I pointed out above.
I found an ajax request on stack overflow and worked it out by adding this code to a code block section:
<script>
window.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded', function() {
(function ($) {
$.ajax({
url:'https://savvyify.com/enfold/' +
'3x4-buton-grid',
type:'GET',
success: function(data) {
var content = $('<div>').append(data).find('#main');
$('#av_section_1').html($(data).find('#test').html());
}
});
})(jQuery);
});;
</script>
please note the domain url, the page url, the ID of the page section, and the element ID, of the source page:

Please note that here the color section minimum height is set to 100%:

the result is:

Best regards,
Mike
Hi Support,
I imported the Medical Demo to start for the site I am building. When choosing an icon I only see the default “entypo-fontello” set and a “medical” set. Where can I access a predefined travel set to choose from? I already saw this link (https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/icon/) for adding other icons. I just want to see if you guys already have a custom set for “Travel” that I can load.
Thanks
Scott

Just tried again and got this message now:
Installing theme from uploaded file: themeforest-xqFnby4c-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme.zip
Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme installation failed.
Hi,
You can add a child theme at any point really, just remember to import your parent theme settings under Enfold->Import/Export. The updates works the same using a child theme.

Rikard
Hi Enfold team,
Here’s a troublesome issue for us:
Main is set with background image (top right; no repeat; fixed) and Main also has has a background color of #fbfaf3.
My color section’s setting for background color is set to Main with background color setting of transparent using the color picker (rgba(0,0,0,0)0).
I’ve assigned a custom CSS class to my color section of: jd-container-bg3
My Quick CSS is set to:
#main.jd-container-bg3 {
background-color: transparent !important;
}
However, the result is that the color #fbfaf3 (Main background color) appears behind my color section’s transparent background rather than the transparent background image (the cornerSeal.png). See private for view of this. I only need this change to this one color section (page-item-1493).
I’ve also tried changing .main_color and it didn’t work. It changes the background to white. I can change to a test color like RED but not successfully to transparent with all the CSS I’ve played with.
How can I get this to work so that the MAIN background image appears behind the transparent skyscraper image?
Thanks for your support!

Hey galliulisse,
Try checking your settings under Enfold->Header->Extra Elements->Header Social Icons.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hey galliulisse,
If you set the Socket Background Color to your colour of choice under Enfold->General Styling, then that should change the background of your site.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hey Andre,
I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (5.1.1) to see if that helps please? The update to 5.0 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi,
Thanks for the update, I’ve enabled debug mode for you now. First off though, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (5.1.1) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.

Rikard
Hi there,
The Enfold theme was set up with a user and API key by a website developer a long time ago. I have purchased a new license and generated an Envato private token and entered it into the Theme Update page. It is able to validate the token and reports that it can access my purchases, username and e-mail but reports:
Theme Updates: No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.5.4)
It does not want to detect and update to the latest version (5.1.1)
I do not want to lose my existing theme set up. What is the correct procedure to update?
Thanks in advance,
Pieter
Hey cktanju,
Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
.home .avia-slideshow .slideshow_align_caption a {
font-size: 26px;
background: red;
}
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi,
Thanks for that. First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (5.1.1) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi,
Thanks for the update. I’m still not sure where exactly you want to place them? You can check the documentation here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/social-share-buttons/. If you need to customise them more, then you can add them to a new page layout, then copy the shortcodes. You would have to enable debug mode in order to see and copy shortcodes: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#debug-mode
Best regards,
Rikard
I updated all plugins on a staging environment to the following versions:
Wordpress, Version 6.0.1
Theme: Enfold, Version: 5.1.1
Plugins:
I compared the code between your church theme and our code.
Church has two instances of the event meta, one labelled mobile, one labelled desktop. Our code only has one event meta section called “av-single-event-meta-bar” without additional style for mobile vs. desktop.

Hello,
we’ve been getting this warning since switching to PHP 7.4.
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /xxxxxxxxxx/magazin/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/slideshow_layerslider/slideshow_layerslider.php on line 28
Will this bug be fixed with an update to the Enfolder Theme? How can we purchase the update?
Hi,
Glad Guenni007 could help, thank you Guenni007, if you have any further questions please create a new thread and we will gladly try to help you. Thank you for using Enfold.
Best regards,
Mike
Hi @Ismael and @guenter,
Thanks for your answer! Just to make it clear, you have already introduced a bug that breaks existing layouts. I’m not in any means saying you should change what thumbnail is being used. My fix is a quick and dirty solution to fix a urgent problem for me and some others that have updated to a newer version of Enfold and then got this problem. But I don’t want to change what thumbnail is being used as a permanent fix.
Have you looked into why this problem occurs. Why the 450×450 px image is being favoured over the settings Enfold provides regarding cropping/ratio of product catalogue images? No settings have been changed after updating and all of a sudden 450×450 px is being displayed even though the setting is set to display uncropped images if a 450×450 px is generated for the product.
If you will not do anything more about this, then is there a way for me to see what changes have been made in the last three (or so) versions of Enfold? Can I get access to other versions than the latest?
Best regards,
Martin
