I looked into this a little further and found another solution but please only use this solution on the same domain URLs, as I pointed out above.

I found an ajax request on stack overflow and worked it out by adding this code to a code block section:

Hi,

You can add a child theme at any point really, just remember to import your parent theme settings under Enfold->Import/Export. The updates works the same using a child theme.

If you set the Socket Background Color to your colour of choice under Enfold->General Styling, then that should change the background of your site.

I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (5.1.1) to see if that helps please? The update to 5.0 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

Thanks for the update. I’m still not sure where exactly you want to place them? You can check the documentation here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/social-share-buttons/. If you need to customise them more, then you can add them to a new page layout, then copy the shortcodes. You would have to enable debug mode in order to see and copy shortcodes: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#debug-mode
