foolish question…HOW do I update?
I downloaded the whole theme.
Tried re-install the whole theme, but got the error
“Destination folder already exists. /home8/tguideco/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/
Theme install failed.”
So… How do I do it?
Thanks!
After I’ve installed the latest update of Enfold theme, I’m getting this error message:
“Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ”colum’ (T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE), expecting ‘]’ in /home/.sites/341/site215/web/dev/neu/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/contentslider.php on line 394”
Is it a known problem? How can I fix it?
Thanks, Bernie
Hi!
Enfold bietet diese Funktion nicht standardmäßig an, aber es gibt viele Plugins – zB http://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=font+resize
Cheers!

Hey!
Please update to Enfold 2.4.3 – I think Kriesi released the update today and it should contain the fix I posted in my last answer. If the issue still persists we’ll check the css code.

Peter

That’s weird. In both Firefox and Chrome the second level menu is still behind the main content area. I must have made some change in the CSS elsewhere that is conflicting. I’ll try it in the Enfold parent, and see what happens.
Just tryed to update to version 2.4.3 and got this:
”
Warning: require_once(framework/avia_framework.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /www/pedro-basaldua.com.ar/htdocs/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 77
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘framework/avia_framework.php’ (include_path=’./:/usr/local/php5.4.17/lib/php’) in /www/pedro-basaldua.com.ar/htdocs/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 77

Hi fonterra!
You can use this plugin to maximize the search power of your website: SearchWP
Refer to this link in order to integrate the plugin on ajax search: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/use-searchwp-instead-of-the-standard-search/

Hey!
I tested this on Enfold Child Theme and it works just fine. I tried it on your end but it’s not working. We don’t want to mess with your plugin settings. Please deactivate all plugins then test it again.

Cheers!

I can totally put a fork in a website I’m doing for a client IF I can get layer slider to actually go through the slides. Here’s the details.
I’m using a boxed layout. I’ve added 4 slides and text. When I preview everything looks good. When I update/publish and go to view the slide show it actually goes to an OLD 1st slide. I emptied my cache and history on my browser thinking maybe that was the problem but it is not. I even duplicated the layer slider and then switched to that, updated, published etc and it still goes to the old slide.
Read through all the global settings and read through all the forum questions and cannot find the answer. Help!
Hi guys,
I’ve been trying to get the styling of my Gravity Forms to match the Enfold theme. The font, size and headings.
Here is the page with the form,
http://bit.ly/19Or1Jd
I’ve tried adding the following to the Custom CSS to see if it would work to change the Form title to uppercase, but it didn’t
.gform_wrapper .gform_heading .gform_title {text-transform:uppercase}
.gform_wrapper .description, .gform_wrapper .gfield_description, .gform_wrapper .gsection_description, .gform_wrapper .instruction {
clear: both;
letter-spacing: normal;
}
Could you please advise how to achieve this?
Many thanks,
Dave

Hey bvalliance!
You can create a copy of the includes folder on the child theme then copy the loop-index.php file. Make the changes that you want on the child theme’s loop-indes.php file.
Cheers!

Hello,
I have 60 Articles with many pictures. After the installation from Enfold-Theme I was shocked, that ALB works only on a page, but not in a post. How can I insert a gallery in a post with the same style an function as I insert a gallery about the ALB and the Media-Element.

Hello,
Please help
Is there any way to enlarge the font size in the certain part of a page?
For example in the middle or bottom of a page, I want to use larger font
FYI, I already read this post https://kriesi.at/support/topic/easily-change-font-sizes-enfold/
but I think my request bit different, kerin01 want to apply bigger font for whole page while I just want to apply it on certain area only.
Please help

Is there a way that I can make changes to the layout of the Enfold blog in my child theme while keeping the parent theme intact?
I want to move the date meta data from where it is to below the author’s avatar (specifically in the multi-author blog layout).
Thank you in advance!
Thank you Ismael! You were right – and it was right under my nose.
Can you tell me how, in my child theme, I can modify the layout of the multi-author blog layout? I don’t need details as I know customization is not covered, but just what file I would need to change.
The change I want to make is: move the date meta data to the far left under the author’s avatar.
Hey!
Maybe you can prepare CSS hacks list for your end user. Formateins posted his in here if you would like to have a look https://kriesi.at/support/topic/custom-css-for-your-pleasure/#post-25635
I am closing this thread for now. Let us know if you have any other questions or issues

Hi again!
I’ve tried with a couple of different fonts but I can’t seem to call them up.
Here is my CSS:
@font-face{
font-family: ‘Arvo-Regular’;
src:url(‘http://www.celadonsamui.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/fonts/Arvo-Regular.ttf’) format (“truetype”);
}
.h2 {font-family: ‘Arvo-Regular’;}
I have uploaded the font file via ftp Transmit into a file called fonts in this location /wp-content/themes/enfold/fonts/Arvo-Regular.ttf
Can you help? Is my url incorrect or my css?
Thanks very much!
