    Hi~
    I tried to disable layerslider use the code:”add_theme_support( ‘deactivate_layerslider’ );”. But It didn’t work. When I uploaded the layerslider plugin from outside, it shows”Fatal error: Cannot redeclare layerslider_load_lang() (previously declared in /home/admin/wholeren.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/layerslider.php:118) in /home/admin/wholeren.com/wp-content/plugins/LayerSlider/layerslider.php on line 119″.
    Could you help me with that ? I need use the shortcode of layerslider! thanks~

    Hi, I only use some plugins like:
    akismet
    google xml sitemep
    link cloaking plugin
    bbpres
    link cloaking plugin

    I don’t think they cause the problem.

    CAn you recommend me a better hosting? I think so far hostgator is good enough

    1) Thank you so much for this! It works like a charm on the Portfolio.

    2) This is not working for me… I’m using a child theme and trying not to edit the parent theme… I tried:
    – Creating framework / php folders and inserting the php file you said to edit, made the prescribed changes.
    – Copied the entire framework folder (and subfolders) over to the child theme and edited the php file in the child theme copy, no luck.

    Any idea how I can apply the change #2 to the child theme only?

    I am trying to add a short piece of javascript to a number of pages on our website which uses the Enfold theme. This code will run a flash video of a person guiding visitors around our site..

    I need to add the code to our home page and a number of other pages. The code works fine if I put it in the index.php page in the root directory, but doing this means we have the same video on every page. I don’t know where to place the code for it to work on the home page . I tried adding it to the Index template using the WordPress editor under the Appearance menu but it doesn’t seem to run there.

    I am also having difficulty adding the code to any page in the form of plain text. I’ve tried adding the code to a text box but the code disappears after I save it, or the flash file runs immediately then hangs. So do you have any guidance you can give me as to the best place to insert this code and where do I place the code to work on the home page?

    Topic: Site broken after update to 2.4.4

    Hi, I was having problems with the portfolio grid sorter, and discovered in the forum here that updating the Enfold theme would fix that, so I downloaded 2.4.4 and FTP’d new files. The site immediately broke with this error:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting ‘]’ in /home/robswe3/anthologywoods.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/contentslider.php on line 394

    I could not access WP admin area. Had to delete all Enfold files and revert to default WP theme to regain access.

    I’m not sure what to make of this. I looked at the PHP file in question on line 394, but don’t know PHP well enough to see what the problem there is: $slidenumber = $entry_count / (int)$this->config[‘columns’];

    That error looks like the old one when not being up to date with Enfold and using WordPress 3.6+.

    Make sure you are using Enfold version 2.4.4 (which shows as 2.5 in the WordPress admin) and WordPress 3.8.

    Hey jamesmac007!

    You will need to use the iframe code generated from Vimeo for that video and add it to a text block. The oembed method doesn’t accept the autoplay parameter in the url.

    Hey dawsmik!

    Can you post the link to your website? Many Enfold users are using yoast seo and it is one of the plugins that are recommended ( https://kriesi.at/support/topic/recommended-plugins-last-update-04-09-2013/ ). Please try deactivating all active plugins and check if one of them causing the issue. Then you can activate them one by one to find the culprit

    Hi Giles!

    Please do not choose blog page in Enfold theme options and create two pages for your posts. You can add any of blog elements to your page and choose to display certain categories. Same goes for the second category. That should do it

    “Read more” button on masonry elements is a fullwidth button and you can change its color and background color by adding following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab

    Great theme!

    I’m not sure if this a LayerSlider or Enfold question…so I’ll start here.

    The “play button” overlay when one of the LayerSlides includes a video is very difficult to see/too small. How can I change that out?

    Is there a modification that needs to be made for Enfold v 2.4.3?

    I tried to implement the code again in the same location and it doesn’t appear to be working?

    Also, I know there’s a wish list of items people would like to see in future releases. The ability to link the full iconbox would be a great one. I’ve already seen big improvements in user engagement since utilizing this mod. I think it is their natural inclination to want to click on the entire box.

    After I updated to the new version of Enfold, the “redirect loops” problem showed up. I was suggested to change the permalinks. I change it to Default mode and it works. But then I realized that I really need to customize my links to certain format, which will cause “redirect loop” issues again…

    Anything I can do to deal with that ?

    There are multiple threads on here regarding adding custom social icons. At some point, I decided to use the “Tumblr swap.”

    Unless I previously didn’t notice, it appears that there are now tags on hover for social icons… so, I need to change the mouse over to not say “Tumblr.”

    Is this possible and how?

    Also, I’m sure it’s something very simple that I am missing, but is there a reason my vertical separators between social icons are different widths?

    Hi,

    normally it’s no problem to use polldaddy for little polls in any given WP post. In an older Blog of mine it works perfectly fine: http://www.psychophysik.com/integral-blog/?p=1783

    Now I wanted to build a little poll in my new blog where I’ve installed the Enfold Theme ( http://www.zeuchsbuchtipps.de ). Unfortunately it’s not possible to make the poll daddy poll work… I’ve tried to copy the Java Script of the poll in the “Text Mode” of the post and also tried the Polldaddy Plugin. Nothing worked…

    Sorry – I’ve fixed it on my own by using the WP Shortcode instead of the Java Script.

    Hello,

    First all this has only started happening since 3.8 WordPress update.

    I’m currently styling a website for someone but the theme options> styling is not changing anything

    I have tried the following to fix the issue:
    * Deleted cache on both server & web browser
    * Uninstalled Enfold and re-installed new copy

    No matter what i choose it also shows the same configuration which can be seen at the following: http://www.liamk.co.uk/stonework

    Any help will be appreciated.

    .avia-button.avia-size-small {
font-size: 17px!important;
}

    17px looks fine to me but you may want to adjust it
