Ok Thanks I will give it a shot. When i look in my enfold folder, would I just grab the whole config-layerslider folder or do I go into there and grab the layerslider folder to install as a regular plugin?
Will it lose the sliders I have already created?Thanks

I have just checked and you are using version 2.4.2. You can check it in Appearance > Themes > Theme Details.
Please try deactivating all active plugins and check if that helps, if not, please try updating Enfold to version 2.4.5

I resolved the issue. So it looks like it was a combination of things, but in the end, Devin – I changed those two image sizes and it worked as you mentioned. Thanks for the attention to this.

usually I find everything on my own but this time I’m a bit lost or maybe just to tired.
As soon as I activate the enfold theme or child theme the pictures in the posts are not resized like they were before or like in the editor.
I just installed everything fresh (WP3.8+latest enfold theme) but same result.A pic shows maybe better what I mean

Can you tell us which type of header you are using ( you can check it in Enfold theme options under Header tab ) and what is the size of the logo that you would like to use so we can provide you a proper solution?

Personally I recommend to install: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/ and to configure the “Social” settings. Then add a google+ “social link” to your header (Enfold > Theme options) and make sure that it points to your google+ user account. I did both things on my private website and according to google’s rich snippet tool it’s connected to my google+ user account. You can test your website here: http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets

Contact Form: Would be nice to implement an option for different recipients (maybe refering to a select box to chose from different departments) –> better and faster email handling!

I use WordPress 3.8.1 and think the last enfold (where can i find it ?). In the option of Enfold / theme update it’s say “No Updates available. You are running the latest version! Great!”
Perhaps a conflict with other mods ?

Please update your theme to Enfold 2.4.5. I just tested it on my German test server and all text strings (including “Send us mail ” and “Submit”) are translated properly.

This is currently not possible – I’m sorry. You would need to create a new shortcode based on the existing iconlist shortcode and then add some new options to your custom iconbox shortcode which helps you to change the headline type. You can suggest the feature here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-feature-requests/ and if more users request it we’ll look into it. If you’re in a hurry please hire a freelancer wo can create the custom shortcode for you. I guess it can be done with 1 – 1,5 hours of work (including testing, custom css code, etc.).

Yes, therefore this does not resolve my question. I thought moving all posts to /blog/ is required to display sidebar on blog posts using . option in Enfold configuration: “Display a sidebar navigation for all nested subpages of a page automatically”. Currently I have only on blog index page an not on blog posts.

I have 2 question about Updates.
1) I use a child theme. with just a few Plugin. How to update correctly?
In backend should i deactivate the Child theme and Activate the Normal Enfold Theme, then update via FTP and at the end reactivate the Child Theme? Or should i Update trhough FTP without changing the Theme?
I sow that if i switch the theme for a update, the normal Enfold Theme show me live the standard configuration, with Enfold logo and so on. This is no problem, right? After that, reaktivate The Child theme and everithing “shoul” show up again?2) WP update a lot ;) is here in Forum a post where i can see, if i should update the WordPress or I should wait untill Enfold is tested for the new Update?
For example I upate a short time ago for the 3.8 Now WordPress take out the 3.81 or something similar.
Where can i read when is the right time to update WordPress without having trouble with the Enfold theme?

Yes but this is an (expected) limitation of the “link” post format. The link post format gives you the possibility to feature ONE link on your blog page (i.e. like here: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/blog/page/2/ ). If you want to use a post for multiple links I suggest to use the “standard” post format instead. Then the title will link to another page where you can show an unlimited number of links.
