Is there any problem with upping the memory?

I have heard from WPML –

they said:
“The actual challenge you have is that with the Enfold theme both layout instructions but also “normal” text is added to the post editor field. So in this case you cant separate the two. Any layout changes done to the original (via Advanced Composer) need to be repeated manually in the translations again.”

– apparently since I am using the ENFOLD advanced editor, the shortcodes show up in the visual editor, so I have to unlink the translation from the original to get it right. Then any changes I make to the layout do not get reflected in the translations…Is this how you understand it?

I upped the php memory on my site on the wp-config.php file to 128
could you check my site to see if it’s ok? I did not see any change, but maybe it’s not anything I should see?

I am doing my best, but since it is not working properly it is a difficult task. ;-)

Only with this extra-spacing I get a result that on a screen is somehow acceptable. However, the header in the middle [The real question of overpopulation…] is still not visible. A screenshot how it looks like can be found here: http://futuretalks.net/?p=582
If I add even more spacing, like 50 + 400 instead of 50 + 200 in the first two dividers, it happens that the missing header now does appear. – However with big spaces inbetween, and it doesn’t look great. A screenshot can be found here: http://futuretalks.net/?p=583

And I am not even how ridiculous it looks on a tablet.

I have noticed on several posts by now, that Enfold seems to have an issue with the combination of Testimonials, Dividers and Headers.

Do you understand the issue now? Can that be helped?

I’m using the Enfold Child theme so I added the below code. I already had a 10, 1 so I added a 10, 2.
Also, you mentioned functions-enfold.php. I think you meant functions.php. I did not find any of this in functions-enfold.php.

The strange thing is though, that in Enfold the translation is correct, but on my website it is still wrong. I use a childtheme, but didn’t change anything.

We have released a beta version for WPML 3.1.4. This version includes fixes for everything that was reported for the problematic WPML 3.1 release.

this is the reply I got from WPML that I used – you do not lose the setting you already have when you deactivate the old WPML, but you should run a back-up of your site. This has been very frustrating for me for the past 4 days & I lost tons of work!

You can get it from your WPML account. Go to Downloads, scroll to the bottom and you will see the beta package. Right now, it’s 3.1.4-b1.

This ZIP includes several ZIP files of the individual WPML components. First, unzip it locally, get the parts that you need and upload them.

The safest way to update the plugins is to:
1. Deactivate (don’t worry, your content doesn’t change)
2. Delete the folders with the older versions
3. Upload the new versions
4. Activate

are you using WPML 3.1? Just found out it’s full of bugs – they have released a BETA 3.1.4 version that seems to work better. My admin is fast again after installing it.

And thanks for all your effort with this. Unfortunately i cannot get the above code to work, however i will try to hardcode something into the menu in order to mimic the effect.

I am also wondering how i can disable the standard Enfold mobile navigation as the menu i am using has its own custom mobile navigation?
