I am having an issue with layerslider on my homepage on Enfold theme. It shows the circular wait icon, but the images never load. This just started without any changes being made to the slider or the page. Any ideas?

Okay, looks like I found the culprit for the issue…
My server had eaccellerator installed which was unable to handle the theme’s php requests. The error itself was not that helpful, but I am including it in case anyone else has the same issue

Also, one thing I noticed that is different than other themes I have installed is that all of the theme files appear to be encrypted. Is that normal?

If you would like to add elements to your page, you should not choose that page as your blog page in Enfold theme options and add Blog Posts element to your page instead to display your blog posts and be able to add other elements at the same time

I will certainly check with my host, but not sure if there is a lot they will be able to tell me. It is a VPS server that I have hosted, installed and managed several other wordpress sites, themes, etc. with the same server and settings. Also to be clear, I have successfully installed other themes in the same WordPress install that is having issues with Enfold.

What do you mean by “not updateable”? You can actually create a copy of the includes folder on the child theme then add the helper-responsive-megamenu.php file inside.

YigitHi support team!! I’m so happy with my enfold theme, it rocks. I’m having this problem with the video compatibility in IE8. I can’t see the video and all i see it’s a text that says “download file”. My video is in .webm and work everywhere else but IE.
Can you guys help me please :)

You can add your own elements on config-templatebuilder > avia-shortcodes. Please hire a freelance developer if you’re not sure how. For further modifications, please visit Werkpress. You can use this plugin if you want to insert php codes on Text Blocks: http://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-php/

Did you create the layerslider using some other theme? Please try to recreate them using the Enfold’s default layerslider. Another thing is that you’re using a very old version of the theme.
