i’m still getting the following error even tho i’ve updated to latest version of wordpress and turned off all plugins and logged back in and tried with different browser:
An error occurred while updating Enfold: Download failed. Failed to write request to temporary file.
I get the above error when clicking upgrade theme within wordpress.
How do I manually update the theme? if i update the theme will it overwrite a custom webform i’ve had created to work with a CRM?

Enfold 2.5I added the WooCommerce Cart Wiget to the Shop Overview Sidebar
But the two buttons “View Cart” and “Check Out” are misaligned, One slightly above the other (see picture on PhotoBucket)
I have played around with the CSS but have had no luck.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Topic: Inaccurate bounce rate?
Since installing the Enfold theme on http://www.toiletsforsale.com in Nov 2013 my bounce rate has fallen from an average of 40% (on previous theme) to an average of less than 3% with the Enfold theme. This is great news if it is accurate but my developer believes this is not accurate and is due to the Enfold theme and the way the pages load. Can anyone clarify this? I use Google analytics.

As far as I can see WPML searches for theme translations in the “MO file in /wp-content/themes/enfold” folder, however the enfold files are kept in “/wp-content/themes/enfold/lang”.
Is there a setting somewhere I should change somewhere, or perhaps I am misunderstanding the way it works?
Topic: Problem with blog excerpt
Hi,
If I make a page with blog post and set the correct settings in that blog post element then the blog page work fine, but the title in the title container is wrong with a link to my home.
So when I selecting that blog page in the Enfold settings (so that it is showing correct in the title container) the blog posts are showing with the full length, when I don’t set a blog page in the Enfold settings the blog page is showing good again (an excerpt with read more button) but the title in the title container is wrong again and the link going to my homepage.
How can I fix this issue?
I’m testing the default grid for blog, and if I have no featured image, Enfold display a fake image, the one with a grey circle with a pencil inside. Is it possible to tell enfold to only hide this fake image if a post do not have a featured image.

On http://robinhq.com/team/ we have the latest Enfold theme (2.5.4) installed. In Chrome and Safari the social icons (Twitter, Linkedin) are shown, in Firefox they are not.
We already added the following .htaccess fix, this did not solve the problem:

Thank you so much Ismael,
But I think I would be better that the theme search could find posts by tag terms by default, instead of installing a plugin. For what are tags then? One of the capabilities of the tags is to group posts, the other is for SEO and internal search purposes. In that case, at this moment tags search doesn´t work as expected in Enfold.

I just tested it again on a clean installation with Enfold 2.5.4 and WooCommerce 2.1.3 and the upsell products (“May also like” products) are displayed on the single product page. The cross sell products will be displayed on the cart page (see: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/related-products-up-sells-and-cross-sells/ ). If they do not work on your server please install the latest version of WooCommerce and deactivate all third party extensions/plugins except WooCommerce. If the upsell products show up afterwards a third party plugin probably removes them from the single product page.

Yes, Enfold does have this problem before but I can see that you’re using a very old version of the theme. Please download the latest version 2.5.4 on your themeforest account. Update the theme via FTP. Watch this video by Devin: http://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
It has been fixed on the latest update. Updating might affect the content of your website especially those elements that are using font icons. You might need to recreate them. Please always check for theme updates.

Hey Ismeal.
I took your advice and updated the theme to the most current version. However, I’m still getting the same Hatom entry errors.
Those links you sent me aren’t doing it for me. The first link has dead pastebin links, and the file names differ somewhat from the Enfold files.
And the second link contains two tutorials which I have already tried to follow, but sadly their fixes can’t be replicated because the code and file names differ too much from what Enfold uses.
Any detailed help would be really appreciated!

EDIT: Okay, so I just realized that the blog hatom entries work perfectly fine. It’s just the masonry blog display on the homepage that is giving Hatom entry errors. So why is the Masonry blog element giving problems?
Exactly. It tries to open a light box, then gets stuck/stops/progress circle keeps spinning forever…

What do you mean by it’s not working? It opens a lightbox instead? Please add the class=”nolightbox” on the link code. You can also hide the vimeo url using goo.gl then use it instead of the actual vimeo url. A link to your website will help.

Thank you for Ismael for responding to my request. I am indeed enjoying the theme, it is great quality, very well done. I did update the enfold theme and unfortunately I didn’t see the problem go away. I took down the images from the production site, so users were not having the problem, but I still run it on my development site at http://www.pgdev.info. You can still see the mega menu on “Shop” and not sizing the images correctly and cutting off the drop down. If you can offer additional suggestions, I would really appreciate it.

I’m not sure if we can help you with this one. I checked the website on IE8 and IE9 on Windows 7 and they are working fine. I don’t have a windows xp machine to test this with and I doubt if any of the support team member have it. FYI on April 2013 XP is no longer supported by Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/enterprise/endofsupport.aspx and same goes with Enfold.
And with XP at 11% http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_os.asp and IE8 at 3% http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_explorer.asp, these browsers and OS can be ignored in near future imo.

Hi,
When I view my site with Enfold theme on iPhone, it seems that the site is not very responsive. I even see html codes on my iphone screen. On the iPad, it works like a charm. I do have the settings to ‘wide screen’, does that matter much or would I need to change it to get a better compatibility for the iPhone?

I have a question about Enfold Combo Widget. It doesn’t seem to display my blogposts consistently. Sometimes it shows an enlarged picture (too large for the widget) without any text below or next to it. And sometimes it displays the blogposts neatly as it should; a small square picture on the left and the title + some text next to it on the right.
