Hi,
I’ve been beevering away for a few days getting my shiny new Enfold site up and running, today I find out that about two-three hours ago, no one else can see it. They get a blank white screen!
The only thing that changed that I’m aware of is that I added a ‘color section’ with a paralax setting to the front page.
PLEASE HELP!

Hello Kriesi team,
I am testing the last theme version 2.7.1. I have integrated an accordion in the homepage.
But i am surprised because, in the design selection, i have to select a sidebar, but i do not like to put a sidebar in the homepage!
Could you help me please?

Please try to modify enfold/js/shortcodes.js a bit – open up the file and replace:

your theme supports Ubermenu and on another site running wordpress 3.9 with enfold version 3.7 installed I use custom css (Code from sevenspark) to change the Uber menu background colour of the current page and it works perfectly

I updated the files in my Child theme and now I have the Social share buttons. Why I must update my whole child theme files for every update? Now I think the Child theme is not usefull.
I have now only the problem that the categorys are clickable. And I have a new problem. The date’s are back in the last news widget from Enfold but the chanches that I make for that in my child theme are the same in these updated files. How can I removed back the dates from last news widget?
And last but not least: The social sharing toolkit is in english, how can I translate that to dutch?

Since the last update, I’ve noticed a few small bugs that are driving me crazy (I’m using the latest Chrome browser).
1. There is a dark line under the active tab (when tabs are on the left), looks terrible. Can see it here: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/features/

I work on Enfold 2.7.1, so thats the newest one.
In the update from 2.7 there are social media icons to share, but I don’t see them in my blogposts?
Categorys are clickable in the blogposts. How can I make it not clickable? If I use “.main_color a { pointer-events: none; }” then al my links are not clickable and “.category { pointer-events: none; }” don’t do any effect.

Hi I am trying to create a table on my site similar to this: http://www.mmaworldexpo.com/showcard2013.php
I tried just pasting it using the html on that site but i have always encountered formatting issues on the 3rd column.
I tried using the table element on the advanced layer slider but I don’t think it will accomplish what i want it to do since I have differently formatted rows and columns for the header. Is there a way around this where i can just use the html on the old website without encountering formatting issues?I will give you login details once there is reply

I was testing the upgrade to WP 3.9 on a testing site with just the original WP installation and after the upgrade all I see is a blank white page. If I look at the source code for the page all I see is “1.” at the top and that’s all.
Also the thumbnail for the Enfold theme within WP is all blank, just white.
All of the other themes work fine and are able to pull up the sample page and sample post that are there with the original install.
No one else seems to be having an issue with WP 3.9, what can my issue be? I have deleted the Enfold theme a couple of times and reuploaded and nothing and I am using Version 2.7.1.

i have a minor question. Is it possible to hide the | or “|” charater – which is automaticly generated to seperate subpages – if you are on the frontpage? So only for the frontpage i would like to hide it.
Ah another question. Funnly in chinese thinking there is also a more or less negative cultural connotation to that character – another project i im working on. Is it possible to change it?

I really like how easy it is to show the location in google maps in enfold. But unfortunately it also show the regular google maps companies that have an entry in google maps.
And here is the problem that it also shows the competitors on the same map. So it doesn’t make much sense to advert for the competitors on your website. Is there a way to hide that one or at least to don’t show any companies on the google map?Thanks.

I’m working on http://192.185.4.114/~castweb/media/sermons/ and can’t figure out how to get rid of the date, category, and author texts that keep showing up under the post title. I’ve turned them all off in the “Blog Layout” section of the Enfold child theme. This turns them off for individual post pages, but not for this compilation page which is drawing from my “sermon” category. Is there any way to do this? I’m a newby at this.

No, not within any of the theme elements. Your best route would be to create the layout with the Avia Layout Builder and then target each element with css to customize it since the individual columns don’t have any other method to style them.
It’ll be pretty simple if you wrap the whole section in a color section with the developer ID filled in so you can target that block by its ID and then the sub elements. Also turning on the custom class field will help: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/turn-on-custom-css-field-for-all-alb-elements/

Hi guys,
I have an issue with the tables in enfold. I have a ‘product specification’ page which is a series of tables with tech data.
I would like the table cells to have a constant size so the tables ‘line up’ with each other. Right now every table cell has an arbitrary size

Once again, I tried to update the theme to a new version. This time, I kept the ‘enfold’ folder on the server, deleted all the content, uploaded the new enfold files inside the existing enfold folder. The existing child theme wasn’t touched, is still active and was not renamed. Still, (again) the WordPress settings in, for example, settings/read/ ‘ homepage shows’ are empty! So updating (manually) DOES change things… What can be possibly going on here?
Also – after the update, all the homepage examples are no longer working, showing blank pages (without error messages).

I am having problems with the Layer slider:Posted the following under comments:
1. My layer slider is not working properly. Most of the functions are not active – is there something (a lisence or something) I need to pay or activate? It worked when I installed the template..
2. There are more options not working – screen options drop-down menus is not active.. Should I reinstall the template?
3. I reinstalled the template, no change.. Please advice:)
4. I rolled back to version 3.8.3 and it all workes with old database – where do I go from here?
5. So I installed (bought) the slider to get the newest version – still does not work..
6. Updates to latest Enfold version, still not working

No i was looking in the ENFOLD tab in WordPress dashboard. At the bottom left hand side there is a tab that says THEME UPDATE
(Update your Theme from the WordPress Dashboard)However when I click on the – CHECK MANUALLY it still does not recognise there is a new theme to update?
I’m happy to update via FTP but just wanted to know why it was not recognising there was a new theme?
Any ideas. (its not a big deal)
