I have updated to the latest version of WordPress and PHP and have updated the valid Envato private token on our site. We’ve been a long time customer and advocate for Enfold Theme and have several websites using Enfold each with a separate license of course at our institution.
Please see below since the latest version of Enfold listed that we have is:

No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.7.5)
Is there any reason why the latest version 5.0+ isn’t available? It appears 4.7.5 is from 2 years ago.

Hmmmmmm. That was not the initial problem, I only added the shortcode when the Enfold element wasn’t working, but it’s working now, so I guess that is all that matters! Thank you.
I just took a closer look at the error on nav-menu-template.php line 213. Tried disabling the main Enfold nav and it loads fine. But we kind of need the nav… : )

Please unzip the file you are trying to install, then upload enfold.zip inside the extracted file.

Enfold comes with its own Layout Builder, that is what we recommend to use. Elementor is not a supported plugin unfortunately.

When switching an existing website to the Enfold theme, the thumbnails of the embedded YouTube videos in the posts are displayed in an incorrect format (3:4 !). When I put the same videos in another (new) web instance, they are displayed correctly (16:9).
What could be the reason for this? Is it perhaps due to the theme used so far or the WordPress settings? I have searched the settings (Enfold, Post, Block) but so far without success. Uninstalling and reinstalling the theme and the child theme have so far brought nothing.
I also had the Church demo installed on both websites.
I reactivated the previous theme for this reason, so I can’t post a link with the error. Maybe I can be helped already like this. If not, I can activate the Enfold theme then of course.

Thanks for trying, I Enabled the Avia Layout Builder Debugger and searched the homepage shortcode and found the image twice, so I removed it and checked the page again and the error doesn’t show and I don’t see anything different on your page.
Please check your page carefully, if it looks correct then fine.

i just updated to last version of enfold. WP is 5.8.3.
We have widgets for Footer 1 to 5. The footer ist showing right values in EN version but in DE version it shows Footer 1,2,3 and 5. Footer 4 is not showing, it shows “Archiv” instead of content of Footer 4 widget.
If we go to customise, the english Version has all 5 widgets to select and the DE Version only Footer 1, Footer 2, Footer 3 and Footer 5. So Footer 4 is missing.
Do you know what can be a problem?

When I update PHP the whole site crashes, and I need to go into recovery mode, and revert back, see the error messages in my initial post.
This is my problem, I cannot update PHP and therefore the iThemes Security Pro plugin reports the theme to be a vulnerable software at every site scan since PHP 8 was released.

Culprit seems to be having both TEC shortcode and Enfold’s Upcoming Events element on the same page. I deleted TEC shortcodes and events showed up correctly.

My Client’s Enfold Site does not load on the front end once WP and PHP were updated to
6.1.1 and 7.4
The site works with any other theme but Enfold.
A fresh Enfold and child theme was brought in, but the issue still remains.
Plugins deactivated.
Sent to my developers … they concur that it is something with the theme.

Sorry for the late response. I’m traveling and don’t always have access to my work.
The issue is not caused by caching.
A CSS change was made to this file: /wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/enfold_child.css that fixes the issue. The same change applied to my other website did not fix the issue there (the file structure differs).
I will provide the exact CSS change as soon as I get it from my developer who sometimes provides me with PHP coding support.
Please keep this ticket open until I provide you with what changed because I should not be making changes to that file as it may get overwritten in an upcoming update to the Enfold parent or child theme.

Just purchased Enfold Theme.
I’m struggling to know what is the best way to edit pages – Is Elementor recommended or something else?
Elementor does not seem to work properly in how I am used to editing content.
I keep having to edit the code in the content which I’m not used to and it is taking me ages, and now I am wondering if I am editing in a way that is not recommended.

Yes, updating Enfold to the latest version would bring PHP compatibility to 8.x. If you have access to ThemeForest/Envato account that was used when purchasing the license, you can login and go to downloads page to download the latest version of the theme.

Hallo zusammen,
wenn ich es richtig gesehen habe, wurde von Host Europe diese Woche php 7.4 abgeschaltet.
Ein Kunde von mir hatte über einen anderen Dienstleister das enfold Theme Version 4.5 auf deren Website installieren und einrichten lassen. Leider funktioniert es jetzt nicht mehr.
Nach meinen Recherche liegt es an der inkompatiblen Version.
Ist es möglich die bestehende Version zu aktualisieren? Und was würde dies Kosten?

I tested deactivating Shiftnav and all plugins on the website and it is still happening when I do that. The issue is definitely with the Enfold theme and not a plugin conflict.

I don’t understand why, but the fonds in Enfold keep on changing even though I believe I have set them all up to the font: “Comfortaa”
Looking at my homepage
Right of the bat, you see that the 2 fullscreen sliders have 2 different fonts. Can you see where the problem is?
It’s an ongoing theme throughout the homepage. Also here where it says “Kunne du tænke dig en gratis og uforpligtende telefonsamtale med Therese?” the font is different than on the rest of the homepage…

Hi Mike,
ok thanks. I cannot see any header.php or footer.php in our child theme. What I did: I left the child folder as it is. I uploaded the current Enfold parent theme via ftp (before I renamed the old enfold like you described in your post). Then I activated the child theme and the known message showed up :”Es gab einen kritischen Fehler auf deiner Website.”. So seems that our current child theme is still not compatibel with new php 8.0 version.
When I tried to upload the new child theme from your site and activated it, it worked, but all settings were gone unfortunately.
Maybe I can share you an extra ftp account via private message so you can have a look at it or we schedule a short google meeting?

I have this on two different websites now. It says
“We are very sorry, but something went wrong. Please try again later.”
Also:
“Please make sure that your fields are filled in correctly”
Is this an Enfold problem, or something in the MailChimp end?
I too have this same issue and can replicate it on the site in the private link.
You cannot change the basket quantities after changing the shipping method on the basket screen.
Please can you advise? I am running WP 6.1.1 and Enfold 5.2.1
