Yes, I’ve been testing this all morning. IE’s debugger was the most helpful (I know, right?), and pointed out the problem. Here’s the Error:
Console: SCRIPT1023: Expected hexadecimal digit
Debugger: lsjQuery(“#layerslider_10”).layerSlider({responsiveUnder: 1920, layersContainer: 1920, hideOnMobile: true, hideUnder: 400, twoWaySlideshow: true, loops: 10, skin: ‘fullwidth’, navStartStop: false, navButtons: false, hoverBottomNav: true, showCircleTimer: false, thumbnailNavigation: ‘disabled’, skinsPath: ‘http://beta.geology.utah.gov/wp-contentE:\www\ugsweb\wp-content\themes\enfold\config-layerslider\LayerSlider/static/skins/’})
I bolded the problem (I don’t know how to fix it though since the problem is a folder path is the root folder for my entire site). I guess /u is unicode and expects a hexidecimal digit afterwards (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ie/13ht9e2w(v=vs.94).aspx). If the /u is to be interpreted literally, there needs to be a //u. Any ideas how to fix this?
I have create an WP Mulitsite for one of my customer.

Hi!
Yes, you still need to update. Your current Enfold version is 2.7 and you need to have version 3.0. If you customized some theme files you need to make a backup of the old files, then upload the new ones and then customize the updated files. Please make sure to backup your files.
Regards,
Andy
Just did the update, and my front page slideshow isn’t showing up. Inspect Element in Chrome says “Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ILLEGAL”.
Hello.
I’m getting this error while trying to place some elements on my page:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 49152 bytes) in
(…)public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/css/dynamic-css.php on line 90
Database problem?
Thank you.

Hi!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under general Styling tab and adjust as needed
.avia-menu-fx { bottom: 22%; }
Best regards,
Yigit
Hey!
You can add following code to Quick CSS as well
.av-main-nav>li>a>.avia-menu-text {
position: relative;
top: 20px;
}
It would change the position of menu text. If you would like to change the height, please go to Enfold theme options > Header > Header Size and choose custom pixel value and set it as needed.
Cheers!
Yigit

what if i dont want to upgrade? the functions dont work? sorry what type of software is this? if not update the functionality will not work?
I’m ok to live with the old wordpress and old enfold. i don’t need the new features. And Why you enforce me to re-write my design again to meet your new versions?
That’s really bad design. Please let me know is there anyway to live with the old version? or to update without breaking the design?
Hi ka9de!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab
.header-scrolled .main_menu ul:first-child > li > a { color: red!important; }
.header-scrolled .logo img { opacity: 0; }
.header-scrolled .logo a { background-image: url(https://kriesi.at/wp-content/themes/kriesi/images/logo.png); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-size: contain; }
If you are using and would like to make those changes when scrolled down, please go to Enfold theme options > Header > Transparency Options

Yigit
Hi MindSpark!
Although support doesn’t cover customization like that we do have some functions in place that let you change the single product page layout fairly easily. See: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/change-woocommerce-single-product-page-layout/
The code on that docs page is an example I did to show how to move the sidebar to the right.
Best regards,
Devin
Hey nbfc!
Please make sure that you have posted correct link. Website does not load on my end. Please test your website on another browser or on an actual mobile device as IE8 does not support media queries
Also, please go to Enfold theme options > Header Layout > Mobile Menu > Header Mobile Menu activation and choose 990px.

Yigit
Hey FoundationsFour!
Are you using Enfold version 3.0? Are you getting any errors that we could see?
Cheers!
Devin
Hi vidaelf!
Please try adding following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab
ul.sub-menu { display: none; }
Cheers!

Hi Alexia!
You are currently using an older version of the theme which is not compatible with WordPress 4.0. Please update Enfold to the latest version 3.0 via FTP – http://vimeo.com/67209750
Cheers!
Yigit
Hi!
Try the function here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/remove-the-import-dummy-data-button/
If you are using a child theme you can keep it in the child theme functions file and remove when needed manually.
Cheers!
Devin
Hi!
Please post FTP access here privately and place freshly downloaded Enfold.zip file somewhere ( and tell us where ) so we can update the theme for you. I see that you have created child theme but if you have a testing environment we can update the theme there and you can check if causes any issues on the changes you have made.
Best regards,
Yigit
Hi!
Please update Enfold to the latest version 3 firstly – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
then go to Appearance > Menus and change Menu Style – http://i.imgur.com/6BNz6kD.png
Best regards,

Can you please let me know how to update to 3.0? I keep getting an error message and “download failed”. I posted this also on the other thread.
Would it work to upload the newest theme 3.0 to the WOrdpress themes page, and then activate that one?
Thanks, Nona
Hi!
Please use a child theme and move your modified files to it – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/
Version 3 is a huge update child theme would be the best solution if you modify theme files

Yigit
Hi Team
Hoping you can help! The theme options menu is not loading, stuck on the main screen, no side navigation choices. The layout editor stopped loading, so I can no longer edit pages. We upgraded the WP to 4.0 and tried to upgrade the theme to the latest version which blanked out the entire site (whiteness). I also tried via FTP rolling it back to an older version that was working. Thoughts on what we can do short of starting over? Happy to provide a temp log in if it helps. thanks in advance.

Hey Omar and Laura
Please make sure that you are using the latest version of Enfold which is 3.0 – http://vimeo.com/67209750
Enfold versions older than 2.9.2 are not WordPress 4.0 compatible
Regards,
Yigit
Hi,
I am trying to download the update to 3.0 as I have 2.9.2 in Enfold. But I keep getting this message that you see below.
////////////
Downloading update from https://s3.amazonaws.com/marketplace-downloads.envato.com/files/106794050/enfold.zip?AWSAccessKeyId=AKIAJYG5ROGJ6X7Z3M6Q&Expires=1412253954&Signature=rn7csWDhfT362NDAfwBV%2BVec37o%3D&response-content-disposition=attachment%3B+filename%3Dthemeforest-4519990-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme-wordpress_theme.zip…
Download failed. Forbidden
////////////
Can you let me know how I should do it? Would it also work if I uploaded the theme (downloaded new version from Themeforest) as a “new” theme in the themes panel, and then simply “activate” it? I am really excited about the changes that you have made to it.
Thanks, Nona
BTW: I couldn’t figure out how to start a new thread.
