    Hey erik de bakker,
    Thanks for your question a few years ago Envato (Theme Forest) stopped using the license “API” and started using a license “Token” at that time you would have needed to manually update and created a “Token” in your Theme Forest account.
    I checked your two sites but the both show errors so I don’t know what version of WordPress or Enfold you are using.
    You will need to make sure your server PHP is at least version 7.4 and then you can download the latest version of the theme from your Theme Forest account and update your site via FTP and then create a Token from your Theme Forest account.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi there,

    We have 3 or 4 shop pages, and they appear to have double pagination at the bottom.
    We’d like to disable the Enfold theme pagination, leaving the default WooCommerce pagination in place.

    An example page URL is in the private content area.

    Please let us know how we can disable it?

    Thanks

    Hi,
    Glad to hear that this is sorted out now. The preset “Spotlight mode” is controlled by WordPress and we don’t set these options.
    Perhaps you would like to try switching the WordPress editor to the classic mode by going to Enfold Theme Options ▸ Select Your Editor ▸ Use WP Classic Editor it is a little easier to work with as it doesn’t have the WordPress Block Editor distractions, give it a try, you can always switch back if you don’t like it.
    Since you have this sorted out now shall we close this thread then?

    Best regards,
    Mike

    I have been using the enfold theme for several years, but i seemd to heve missed every update.
    How is this possible

    #1376090

    Hi,
    Thanks for your patience and the link to your site, I assume that you are referring to the Enfold 2017 Demo and it’s full page slider. The slider shows under the header before scrolling because the header is set to transparent in the admin side panel at Layout ▸ Header visibility and transparency:
    2022-12-13_001.jpeg
    and the layerslider is full size because it’s canvas size is 850 x 1410 in LayerSlider ▸ Project Settings ▸ Layout
    2022-12-13_002.jpeg
    Your layerslider homepage slide is 648 x 1140 so you will want to adjust so it is larger rather than just stretching it.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hey Loveronika,

    You can change that under Enfold->Advanced Styling. Look for the Widget Title option.

    Hello,

    I had to update my Enfold theme, to be compatible with PHP 8.0+. I have a child theme and a parent theme.
    The childtheme is called ”FC” The updatet parent theme Enfold made the footer widgets dissapear.

    I have tried everything, like uploading a new copy of header.php to the childtheme. Please help.

    Greetings,

    Andrew

    Hi on my new site http://www.sitibus.com with enfold I have some problems with arrows, icons and graphic elements.
    As you can see on the home page you don’t see the scroll arrows of the full widh slide, just as you don’t see the arrows to return to the top of the page.
    In the same way the icons of the buttons (e.g. “take a look”) are not visible and instead are small squares. Note that in the back-end you see them instead.
    Can you help me kindly?

    Hi,
    Please try setting the color at Enfold Theme Options ▸ Advanced Styling ▸ Breadcrumbs
    Then clear your browser cache and any cache plugin, and check.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    #1376052

    Hi,

    Thanks for that. Does this problem happen if you activate a different theme as well? Note that this is not a general problem with Enfold, the reason for it is likely local to your site.

    Best regards,

    Hi,
    is there a reason for commenting out waypoints in the avia.js (line 1725) of the latest Enfold version 5.2.1 ?
    Is there an alternative?

    by the way – the child will be not affected on default updating the theme. The child is only to have custom settings for the parent.

    On standard updates there will be no need to update the child; for standard updates it is not necessary to update the child, unless you have uploaded additional child files as mentioned above, and these have changed significantly in the parent theme. Then it might be necessary to update these child files to the new state, and implement the changes (which were the reason for their existence) again.

    if you got a working child – leave it activated and follow: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/some-hints-and-advice-to-update-enfold/#post-1056107

    have you disabled support of google fonts in your child-theme functions.php by:

    function enfold_customization_switch_fonts() {
        global $avia;
        $avia->style->print_extra_output = false;
    }
    add_action( 'init', 'enfold_customization_switch_fonts' );

    please replace with the newer snippet:

    function my_output_google_webfonts_script( $activate ){

    add_filter( 'avf_output_google_webfonts_script', 'my_output_google_webfonts_script', 10, 1 );

    Hey Loveronika,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    Are you using the layer slider element? Please note that layer slider loads Google fonts by default, but it can be disabled in the plugin’s Settings panel. Google map and Google reCAPTCHA widgets also use Google fonts and load them automatically in the page. You may need to enable the privacy options (cookie consent) in the Enfold > Privacy & Cookies panel to prevent them from loading without users’ consent. To remove the default fonts from Google maps, please check this thread.

    // https://kriesi.at/support/topic/important-change-request-for-avia_google_maps_api-js/#post-1346076

    You can also try this plugin.

    Ismael

    #1376019

    Hey Alfredo,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    You can replace the code above with the following css.

    .special_amp {
        font-size: 1em;
        font-family: 'Heebo', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
        font-style: normal;
        font-weight: 300;
    }

    Please make sure to toggle or temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings after adding modification.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Topic: Refund

    Hi there,

    I was having a problem updating the theme because I didn’t know you needed a private token in Envato and before I was using an API key. So I needlessly purchased a new theme for Enfold to see if the new API key would solve the problem, but it did not. Subsequently, I was told that I need to create a Envato token and put that in the WordPress dashboard for validation and now it looks like it’s hooked up correctly. So I would like to be refunded for the most recent SECOND license purchase for Enfold theme, which I did not need. I have included the Envato invoice in the link in the private content area in this message.

    Please advise,
    Thanks much!

    Hey Madeleine,
    Thanks for the link to your site, as I understand you would like the title on the single posts after the featured image, the following function will do this for you but we would recommend placing it in your child theme functions.php file so that it won’t be lost the next time you update.
    While I couldn’t login it looks like you don’t have a child theme installed if you don’t want to install one you could use the plugin WPCode – Insert Headers, Footers, and Code Snippets, this plugin supports PHP code snippets, JavaScript code snippets, & CSS code snipets.
    You would add this code as a PHP snippet.

    function single_post_title_after_featured_image() { ?>
      <script>
    (function($){
      $( '#top .post-entry' ).each(function() {
      $( this ).find( '.entry-content-header' ).insertAfter( $(this).find('.big-preview.single-big'));
      $( this ).find('.av-vertical-delimiter').insertAfter( $(this).find('.big-preview.single-big'));
      });
    })(jQuery);
    </script>
      <?php
    }
    add_action('wp_footer', 'single_post_title_after_featured_image');

    Please ensure to copy the code from the forum and not an email notification so the symbols are not converted.
    Please see the screenshot in the Private Content area of the expected results.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    In your WordPress Dashboard, please go to Enfold > Import/Export > Iconfont Manager then delete Flaticon.
    Hope this helps.
