Hey Empatica,
Google now requires you to enable billing for the API key to work.
Please go to https://developers.google.com/maps/billing-and-pricing/billing and find Manage billing in the Cloud Console and follow the instructions there.
For further information please check our docs: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/google-map/#could-not-connect-to-google-maps-with-this-api-key
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Nikko
Hi,
Google Maps worked correctly but now it shows “For development purposes only”.
I’ve checked this troubleshooting list of enfold but I don’t find the bug.:
1. Check if you typed the key correctly.
2. If you use the restriction setting on Google try to remove that, wait a few minutes for google to apply your changes and then check again if the key works here. If it does, you probably have a syntax error in your referrer url
3. If none of this helps: deactivate all plugins and then check if the API works by using the button above. If thats the case then one of your plugins is interfering.
Could you help me?
Thanks in advance,
Jordi
Hey Fred,
You can set the burger menu for desktop at Enfold Theme Options ▸ Main Menu ▸ General ▸ Menu Items For Desktop ▸ Display as icon
To have burger on the right and the logo on the left go to Enfold Theme Options ▸ Header ▸ Header Layout ▸ Menu and Logo Position
Best regards,
Mike
Hi,
Thanks for your patience and the link to your page, I have tried to reproduce the issue on my test site by installing Rank Math and adding the Table of Content to a post:

but the Table of Content doesn’t show in the Blog Grid excerpt:

Have you added any function or plugins to alter the excerpts?

Mike

Hi,
Thanks, the 3 scripts are using the same div selector and the same variables, so when the javascript ran it filled all 3 divs with the same content, this is why you couldn’t use all 3 on the same page, and is probably related to the issue with the translated pages.
So I modified the 3 scripts so they could show on the same page, please see your test page linked below.
So this is a good step forward, I tried applying this to your translated test page but it didn’t work and I seemed to have unlinked them from each other, please check.
I’m not a WPML expert, but I think that if you could edit these 3 pages independently with the code block the scripts should work.
I was able to create 3 shortcode functions to show your scripts with the following shortcodes on my test page:
[wordart_en]
[wordart_es]
[wordart_fr]

so perhaps this could be another approach.
Try seeing if you can copy the modified codes from your test page and add them to your test language page and see if that works if you edit the pages individually, if not I can add the shortcodes I created to your child theme functions.php and we can see if that helps.
Best regards,
Mike

Hi,
Thank you for explaining, Envato Market is the exclusive licensor for Enfold, please see our listing here.
We are not able to directly license, all orders must be made through Envato Market.

Hi,
I tried clearing your Rocket cache and the Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ JS & CSS file merging and compression
Both are minifying css, which could have caused a css error, but it seems to be working for me right now, please clear your browser cache and check.

There is the area that is above the header and the top menu. How do I specify the color for this. I’ve seen other site do it and it looks great. On iphone, this area would be where it shows the time, battery and signal strength. See example URL and how it is red.
Let me know. Thanks!

Hi,
Try adding your image to the column as a background image:

the add the custom class background-cover

then ensure that the Row Layout is set to Equal Height Columns

Then include this css in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:
.flex_column.background-cover {
background-size: cover;
}
After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check, this is the expected results:

Mike
Hi. I turned off JS & CSS file merging and compression in Enfold Theme Options because when it’s off I get a slightly higher pagespeed rank.
The caching plugin I’m using is LiteSpeed Cache which also take care of my js & css optimization, image optimization and CDN.
Before I used LiteSpeed and only used Enfold Theme Options the pagespeed rank was incredibility low, around 20 in mobile view (around 70 in desktop, not awful).

Hi,
Thanks for your feedback and glad to hear that you have this sorted out now.
Enfold uses the WordPress import function for the demos to remain consistent with the WordPress roadmap, unfortunately, we don’t have control over servers that disable basic functions.
I hope that we can continue to help you and thank you for using Enfold.

Thank you for the quick support Mike.
I had to activate other options into PHP settings of Xampp and then when I imported with updraft, it didn’t work, it did work with Duplicator, but if you don’t have the pro version, you have to do extra steps.
Please consider on your roadmap to reshape the demo import functionality as it seems that it’s too much based on php settings and many people have the issue.
Coming from BeTheme, it was a very bad user experience for me so far to migrate to Enfold and encounter such difficulties at first use. I shouldn’t go through all of this for a theme that I paid.
I hope the experience using your theme will be better now that I have it installed, I’m scared of the multilingual support to be honest now ….
Hey Jim Zeigler ,
Sorry I have not heard of any such plugin, perhaps you need to update your site to the latest version, if you are using Enfold that is v5.4, otherwise please check with your theme author.
Best regards,
Mike
Hey aryus96,
Sorry that you are having troubles, but OVH disables the set_time_limit() function and will not enable it for their customers, this function is used by WordPress so that imports will not time out.
This is not the same as max_input_time, OVH is the only host that we have seen do this, often OVH users move to a webhost that gives them full control.
If you are unable to do this try importing your demo on a localhost install and use the Duplicator plugin to migrate/clone it to your OVH host, I believe this will work.
You could also try the manually import a theme demo method, but typically for OVH the import still times out.

Mike
Hi,
I found this css in each of the layers changing their position:
position:relative !important;
left:70% !important;

removing it solved the issue.

Please clear your browser cache and check.

Hey jeel147,
Calibri doesn’t seem to be a font available from Google Fonts, so you would first need to install the font with a plugin like Use Any Font and then apply the font to your site with css like this:
#main p {
font-family: "Calibri";
}
If you were going to use a Google Font from the theme options then you would choose the font at Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Fonts ▸ Font for your body text

Best regards,
Mike
Hello,
I compared a lot the different themes and so far I regret to have picked Enfold … 48h to import a demo and it’s still not working. It’s just the beggining.
I’m running on OVH.
Phpinfo gives : max_input_time -1 -1
-1 means infinite.
But anyway, I have the cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10001 seconds”.
I try the manual importe, same issue.
I check the support posts, try different thing such as Installing Xampp, import locally then duplicate the WP (ALL OF that for a demo import ……)
And guess what ? I have now this error on the local wordpress instance :
Download of files for demo Agency – Enfold Parallax Demo didn’t work!
You might want to try reloading the page and then try again.
What else do I have to try again just to get started with your theme ??
Kind regards,

Hey William,
Thanks for your patience and the login, for desktop to make you svg logo smaller on scroll with more space above and below you can try this css:
#header.header-scrolled .avia-svg-logo a.av-contains-svg svg {
max-height: 50px !important;
transition: max-height .1s ease;
}
#header.header-scrolled .avia-svg-logo a.av-contains-svg {
display: flex;
align-items: center;
}
I’m not sure how small you want it on scroll so try adjusting to suit.
On tablet the header script doesn’t add the header-scrolled class for the Shrinking effect, this is by design, please see Enfold Theme Options ▸ Header ▸ Header behavior ▸ Shrinking Header

I believe that you see the effect when you test because you are using the Dev Tools and are not refreshing the page when you are testing tablet and mobile.
The default mobile header is not a sticky header, please see our documentation to change this.
To reduce the logo width for mobile try this css:
@media only screen and (max-width: 430px) {
.responsive #top .logo svg {
width: 200px;
}
}
and adjust to suit.
Best regards,
Mike
