I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (5.6.6) to see if that helps please? The update to 5.6.6 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or upload the new theme files via Appearance->Themes->Add New, and select to overwrite the old theme files after the upload has finished.

If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

The fonts are still selected in the Enfold > Advanced Styling panel. For example, the H1 element is currently set to use the “Pacifico” font.

We reset the options in the Settings > Reading panel and set the Enfold > Blog Layout > Blog Layout settings to the last option to enable the Advance Layout Builder. You can now use the layout builder to edit the content of the blog page.

The automatic update in the dashboard will no longer work on version 4.4.1, so you will have to update the theme manually via FTP. Please check the documentation below for more info.

In the Enfold > Layout Builder panel, you have to set the Integrated (Bundled) LayerSlider Plugin to the second option (Deactivate but leave plugin files in folder) or completely remove the default layer slider folder using the third option.

Thanks for the video, when I test on my site I don’t have any issue with changing the author for the post as you are in your video, but I’m not using a plugin to create a CPT.
Try checking if you cange the author in the “quick edit” author field if the correct author then shows:

If this doesn’t help, try checking with a standard post type, perhaps it is the way that the plugin creates the CPT?

The Dev Team has a fix for this issue, please see the two css files at the link below.
avia_gutenberg.css
avia_gutenberg.min.css
please add them via FTP or your webhost file manager at /enfold/config-gutenberg/css/ replacing the old ones.
Then disable Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ JS & CSS file merging and compression and enable Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ Delete old CSS and JS files and then clear your browser cache.
Once the new css files are working for you then you can set your Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance options back to the way you had them.
This will be added to the next update, but we don’t have an ETA for that now.

Hi Anne,

LayerSlider is bundled with the theme, it’s not a separate plugin. If you are running a separate plugin version of LayerSlider, then please deactivate the bundled version under Enfold->Layout Builder->Integrated (Bundled) LayerSlider Plugin.
