Hello,
after updating the “Enfold” theme my site no longer works (please visit http://www.gestit.ch), if I connect to Worlpress with admin, the site works correctly, any ideas please?
Very thanks

Hi,
I am interested to organize my shop categories as seen in this Enfold shop example:
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/113ngtsivdmv0szgvkuk0/Screenshot-2023-11-21-at-9.51.46-AM.png?rlkey=v70w0fl4pk0oai9msrhkts4bc&dl=0
However the only way I have figured out to do it is like this:
https://www.gregorybeylerian.com/shop/
I would like to set up my categories like the Enfold example which has bold COLOR, SIZE & BRAND as main categories and under each are the available products and how many are in each sub category.
Any ideas? I assume its in the Widgets area?
Hey CESCI,
Here is a screenshot of the PHP Extensions that are activate on my cPanel host with PHP v8 active:

I’m not sure what PHP Extensions WordPress needs enabled, but Enfold doesn’t need any extra PHP Extensions enabled.
If this doesn’t help I recommend asking your webhost if rolling back to the last server backup will also enable the correct PHP Extensions and then try that approach.
Best regards,
Mike
Hi,
Very good, if you have any further questions please create a new thread and we will gladly try to help you. Thank you for using Enfold.

Hey pelgrimrat,
Try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:
#top #main .avia-gallery .avia-gallery-thumb a:hover {
opacity: 1;
}
After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check.
Best regards,
Mike
Hey dreamreader,
Please check the setting at Enfold Theme Options ▸ Footer ▸ Copyright, if this doesn’t help please link to your site.

Hi,
To change the “on sale” badge to another color like red, try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:
#top #main .main_color .onsale {
background-color: red;
}
adjust the color to suit and then clear your browser cache, and check.
Best regards,
Mike
Hi Everyone,
I’m using 5.6.6 version of Enfold in 6.3.2. WordPress with 7.4.33 PHP version. Everything worked fine till yesterday afternoon, when I lost my PHP settings and all of the PHP extensions for CGI became disabled.
I enabled some of the PHP extensions, so my website seems to work (the website loads, I can see the pages, posts), but on the wp admin site I see some issues. I can’t edit and save a post/page in Avia Layout Builder. I also can’t edit the settings of the Enfold and I can’t update any plugin.
Can you help me with which extensions should be enabled? Or any other idea why I have these issues?
Thanks a lot!
Viki
Hi,
There’s nothing in specific we can do for you that is not included under Enfold->Performance unfortunately. Please try to experiment with those settings. I see that the test is listing points in regards to images, did you try fixing those?

Rikard
Hi,
Thanks for the update, we’ll go ahead and close this thread for now then. Please open a new thread if you should have any further questions or problems.

Hi all together
We are looking for a plug-in or a way to tidy up the media library. Unused media should be identified and deleted.
Do you recommend a specific method or plug-in for this task? It should at least have a high reliability for the Enfold theme.
The “Remove Unused Media” plug-in could be a possibility, but it only works for up to 2000 media files. See
https://wp-ninjas.de/remove-unused-media
We have a website with approx. 100,000 media files …
Thanks for your support
Thanks for your feedback. We’ve used PageSpeed Insights to test the site speed and tried different suggestions from it using WP Rocket and WP Super Cache plugins. We attempted delaying the scripts and removing unused CSS. However, we haven’t seen any changes of these settings or improvements on the frontend likely because of conflicts or settings with the Enfold theme. As a result, the site speed hasn’t improved significantly.
Could you help us further in speeding up our site, taking into account the specifics of the Enfold theme? Any extra suggestions or specific adjustments for our theme would be highly valued. Your help in resolving this issue is invaluable.
Thank you.

Hallo,
Bzw., falls es weitere Produkte braucht, was würden Sie empfehlen?
2) Gibt es irgendwo (YouTube etc.) ein Tutorial zu Enfold? (Bei Udemy hab ich mal einen Kurs gesehen…) Habe noch sehr wenig Ahnung von WordPress und gar keine von Enfold…
Danke schon mal.
Hi,
Is there a solution to get multiple galleries on a single page? Maybe with tools inside Enfold and not buying an expensive plugin? Or is there a plugin that works and is affordable?
Thank you for help!
Hi,
Your first screenshot of the icon boxes on your homepage:

the background color can be set in the element here:

or you can change all of them with this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:
#top.home .iconbox .iconbox_icon {
background-color: #ebb400;
border: 1px solid #fff;
color: #fff;
}
this is the expected results:

After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check.
To make the special amp symbol black, try this css:
#top .main_color .special_amp {
color: #000;
}
adjust the color to suit.
Is this what you had in mind?
Best regards,
Mike
Hi,
Thank you for your patience, when I check your site on mobile the header seems to be sticky correctly and the banner image doesn’t seem to be hidden, please see the screenshot in the Private Content area. If you are not seeing it this way try to clear the cache, often you need to also clear the history to fully purge the cache, following these steps for Safari and note Step 4 where you will Clear the History.
So please explain what you would like to change now, and please disable any caching plugin and Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ JS & CSS file merging and compression so we can examine better.
Best regards,
Mike

Hey Sebastian,
I’m seeing the custom fields on my test site with WP v6.4.1 for posts & pages:

Perhaps you have a plugin causing a conflict, try disabling all of your plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
Best regards,
Mike

Hey Anna Nord-Gold,
Thank you for the inquiry.
What is the current version of the theme? You may need to manually update the theme to the latest version 5.6.8 in order to fix these errors. Please check the documentation below for more info.

Hey paoluccimarketing2015,
Thank you for the inquiry.
We ran a test using the Pagespeed Insights tool, and some of the recommendations include reducing unused CSS/JS code and eliminating render-blocking resources. You may enhance this by disabling the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings and installing a third-party compression plugin such as Autoptimize, WP Super Minify, or BWP Minify. You can also utilize the default compression settings from cache plugins like WP Rocket or W3 Total Cache.
Another area for improvement is minimizing the impact of third-party code, including Google Tag Manager and scripts from sibforms.com. And you should also leverage browser caching, which can be achieved by editing your .htaccess file or installing a caching plugin.

Hi,
Thank you for the info.
1.) You can set the Styling > Colors > Icon Colors to the second option (Define Custom Colors) to adjust the background and color of the icons in the Iconbox element.
2.) In the Enfold > General Styling panel, open the Main Content or Alternate Content tab and adjust the value of the Highlight Color field. This should adjust the color of the ampersands.
3.) You should be able to adjust the style of the heading elements in the Enfold > Advanced Styling panel.
Best regards,
Ismael

Hi,
I removed my Woocommerce shop page from my site many months ago and decided to add it to my site again. When I go to Appearance / Menu the shop page is not available to be added to menu. It has been a long time since I worked with Woocommerce so I am not sure why I am having this issue. I never had this problem before and can not seem to find any videos on this either.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
Thanks for the clarification. Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
#top .av_header_with_border.av_header_transparency #header_main, #top .av_header_with_border.av_header_transparency .avia-menu.av_menu_icon_beside {
border: 1px solid #daa520;
}

Hi,
Ok, we will leave this thread open, but I recommend that you create a new Github Feature Request for it as one has not been created so it’s not on the list.
Thank you for your patience and for using Enfold.
