    Hello,
    In Enfold-child, I copied-pasted toggles.php, then changed the class name as well as the shortcode:
    avia_sc_toggle by my_toogle

    $this->config[‘shortcode’] = ‘av_toggle_container’;
    av_toggle_container by my_toggle_container

    $this->config[‘shortcode_nested’] = array( ‘av_toggle’ );
    av_toggle by my_toggle

    I did that by replacing the texts in all the file.

    When I edit the page from the dashboard, update then click on view, all seems to work well, the component is correctly displayed.
    BUT when I go directly to the url, the component is not showed.

    Is there something I missed ?
    I did the same with testimonials.php and buttons_fullwidth.php, and for this two component all’s working fine.

    Thanks in advance for your help.
    Best regards

    Hi,

    I had many problems since I updated WordPress (6.4.1).
    Some images and texts disappeared.
    The accordion didn’t work anymore.
    The menu on mobile didn’t work.

    I went back to older version of WordPress.

    Can you tell me when you’ll fix the problems and release a new version of Enfold ?

    Thanks,

    Hello Enfold team,

    I have been working with both Gravity Forms and WP Popoup Maker support teams trying to resolve an error where my form doesn’t display within the popup, and both companies are now telling me its a “theme” issue. From gravity forms:

    Why is ‘display:none’ being added and my form isn’t showing up?

    This is because you have conditional logic being used on your form. Anytime conditional logic is present the entire form is set to display: none; and then JavaScript is used to only show the fields that should be shown.

    However, this requires Gravity Forms being able to output the necessary JavaScript using the WordPress built in enqueue function which outputs the JavaScript in your footer.

    This is due to one of two likely issues:

    1.) Your theme probably does not have this function call in your theme’s footer.php file:

    <?php wp_footer(); ?>

    This function call, which all themes should have, but many people forget to include, enables plugins to output code in the footer of a theme dynamically. If it isn’t present, the theme can’t output the necessary code.

    2.) Your theme has a JavaScript error or conflict causing Gravity Forms’ JavaScript not to function correctly. Please go through the theme and plugin conflict testing steps to isolate the issue.

    Between these two important pieces of information, you’ll likely find the source of why your form is not displaying properly.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi marius146,

    Thanks for giving us admin access.
    I have added this CSS code in Enfold > General Styling > Quick CSS:

    #top .avia-slideshow-button .avia_loading_icon {
        display: none !important;
    }

    Please review your site.

    Mike,

    You are amazing! I switched templates from Astra to Enfold so I assumed that the menus would transfer automatically and I didn’t think to look at that.

    Thanks so much,
    Dave.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the login to your site, I see that you have only one menu “Banner Menu” but you have no menus selected in the WordPress ▸ Appearance ▸ Menus ▸ Manage Locations:
    Enfold_Support_3993.jpeg
    so I selected your menu for you and now WordPress shows the correct menu, this also corrected your second question.

    Best regards,

    }

    #top #wrap_all #av-burger-menu-ul > li {
        opacity: 1;
    }

    Hope it helps.

    I just bought Enfold and I’m having a few problems but I can’t find where to submit a topic. I’ve been to the support page and seen the topics but I don’t see a button/link where I can submit a topic.

    Hey CJ,

    Do you have, or can you get access to the account which was used to purchase the theme? If not, then you might have to buy your own license: https://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990. It’s on sale now, so if you’re going to buy an additional license, now would be a good time.

    Once you have access to the theme files then please follow this in order to register your theme licence: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

    Best regards,

    Hi Wolfgang,

    The update to 5.6.8 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
    You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or upload the new theme files via Appearance->Themes->Add New, and select to overwrite the old theme files after the upload has finished.

    If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
    Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hello. I work for the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office in New Jersey. Years ago, the original webmaster here developed our site using enfold. He left a few years back and I’m not sure how I can update it anymore. Can you please point me in the right direction?

    Hallo, ich musste eine Website bei einem IT Kunden mit übernehemen und diese nun nach IONOS umziehen. Das hat geklappt jedoch auch nach allen möglichen Updates macht das ENFOLD Theme probleme mit der PHP Version 8.0. Das ENFOLD Child hat die Version 4.4.1. Hier kann ich auch noch einen Username und einen API Key auslesen. Da ich absolut kein WP Mann bin meine Frage: Kann man das Theme irgendwie updaten? Was kostet das den Kunden. Muss ich dann im Childtheme wieder Anpassungen vornehmen (von denen ich keine Ahnung habe) oder genügt es dann das Theme per se upzudaten? Die Firma, die das Ganze vor vielen Jahren gemacht hat ist leider nicht mehr existent. Besten Dank für eine Info. VG Wolfgang Meyscheider

    Hey guys,
    unfortunately I have a problem and need your support…
    … everything is up to date… no annoying plugins… I’ve just started building…

    If I make the following setting for the header…
    “logo centered, menu above”

    … I get an incorrect view in the mobile view for the overlay menu.
    The menu doesn’t show up and it seems like the content on that page is covering everything… but I think it’s not only covering it up, it’s not showing up at all.
    But when I change the header setting and put the menu under the centered logo it works as expected.
    … please see the screenshot link in private content

    How do I get everything to work correctly when the logo is centered and the menu is above it?
    At least it works in your demo “Enfold Lifestyle Blog Demo!

    Thanks in advance!

    Hey webservantnaoz,
    Typically this occurs when there is a missing closing tag in the element or one of the precious elements, you can try Enabling the Avia Layout Builder Debugger and examine the page shortcode and correct the missing tag.
    I was not able the add the code to your child theme functions.php because your WordPress ▸ Appearance ▸ Theme File Editor is disabled, please enable and add this snippet:

    add_action('avia_builder_mode', "builder_set_debug");
    function builder_set_debug()
    {
    	return "debug";
    }

    and then see if you can find the issue, if not then add the code so we can try to find the issue.
    Sometimes once the error is saved it can not be “fixed” and a new page will need to be created, I see that you have saved some templates, if the error is in one of these you will need to remove it as the templates can not be “fixed”.
    So if you think this may be the issue, try creating a new page from scratch and don’t use any of your saved templates and see if you can reproduce the error.
    Also please note that if you copy & paste into the “visual” tab of the text editor, some browsers also paste the html tags from the clipboard and you won’t see these unless you use the “text” tab of the text editor, this could be how a unclosed tag was added into your text element.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi, Thanks for the reply. I really like Elementor and it is my page builder of choice.

    Aside from the header/footer issue, are there lots of other conflicts between Enfold and Elementor.

    I do not mind working around a specific issue (or two) but if items are going to pop up everyday that will be too much.

    Appreciate the feedback to above!

    #1426621

    Ok team, we are so close.

    3) The code that Ismael last provided adds the new logo but does not remove the previous one – see screenshot here.

    4) When clicking on the burger to use the menu, the menu items are not on the screen – you have to scroll down to see them. Furthermore, if you scroll down/up far enough, the web page starts to move in the background, which triggers the normal menu to reappear, making it very confusing to get out of – see a video of this here: http://jamesj173.sg-host.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Shrinking-side-menu-issues.mp4

    Thank you again for all your help with this. This seems like a really cool feature that Enfold could add in a future release.

    Hey Darryl,
    It looks like you are using the Elementor plugin, if you used it to create a elementor footer elementor will also remove the header from the theme, the only solution will to also use elementor to create a header. This is a elementor conflict and we don’t have a workaround for this.
    Please note that Enfold has it’s own built-in builder and third party builder plugins typically don’t play well, we do not recommend using elementor with Enfold.
    We recommend disabling elementor to avoid conflicts.

    Hi Support,

    I just installed Enfold on a new website. I setup the header/menu and all was fine. I them used the theme builder to start creating a footer and the header disappeared!? It is missing from all the pages. I checked the header section in the Enfold theme settings but all looks correct.

    What did I do that caused the header and menu to go away?

    Thanks!

    Hi,
    When I check your page I see that you are using Enfold v5.6.2, please update to v5.6.8
    You site says the update token has changed and not verified, so perhaps it says you are using the “latest version v5.6.2” but that is not the latest version. Please save the token again and check for the updates again, please note that Envato limits the number of update checks you can preform each day. If you are still having trouble then try installing the Envato Market WordPress Plugin, or you can manually update.
    To manually update your version of Enfold you will need to download the latest installable WP version from your Theme Forest account and upload it to your WordPress ▸ Appearance ▸ Themes ▸ Add Themes ▸ Add New
    WordPress_Appearance_Themes_Add-Themes_Add-New.jpg
    after you choose the zip file and click install, you will see a This theme is already installed message because you are updating, you can continue
    Installing_theme_from_uploaded_file_This_theme_is_already_installed.jpg
    then you will see the Theme updated successfully message.

    if you like to hide it only for real mobile devices ( and not for all small screens ) you can use that class – enfold added to the document ( html ) for mobile devices: avia_mobile

      .responsive.avia_mobile #footer,
      .responsive.avia_mobile #socket {
        display: none;
      }

    and if you like to allow for “mobile Devices” with big screens tablets etc. (ipad…) use a combination of both.

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
      .responsive.avia_mobile #footer,
      .responsive.avia_mobile #socket {
        display: none;
      }
    }

    Hey Lingens,

    Thanks for that. You can’t use purchase codes to register your theme licenses, you have to generate tokens. Please refer to this: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

    Hi Henk-Jan,

    Can you try to put this CSS code in Enfold > General Styling > Quick CSS:

    @media only screen and (max-width:767px) {
      .responsive #header_meta .sub_menu>ul {
        float: left;
        width: auto;
      }

      .responsive #header_meta .sub_menu>.avia_wpml_language_switch {
        float: right;
        width: auto;
      }
    }

    Hope it helps.

    Hi,
    I hope I can make myself clear. Using enfold 5.6.8 and WPML 4.6.7.
    I have the language switcher in the headermenu.
    When the screen is lower than 750pixels, Te flags in the headermenu drop below the header menu. So this occupies extra space (A whole line).
    Is there a way to have the flags ‘stick’to the headermenu and make them break only when needed due to space. So on a mobile phone for example.
