Hi,
Please open a new thread so we can assist, as this is not your thread so posting your admin login here will not be private and you will not see our comments in the Private Content area.
Thank you for your patience and understanding and for using Enfold.

Hi,
Unfortunately I don’t see a image ID added to the lightbox classes. Perhaps a different lightbox will give you better control, you and try out some of the lightbox plugins and disable the built-in lightbox at Enfold Theme Options ▸ Lightbox Modal Window

Mike

Hi Ishmael,
Thanks for the info, the word thumbnail is nowhere when I edit the category.
Ask:
Editing is deactivated for categories and products
1.) How can I still add an extra heading to the products? …I deactivated the category image with your help (thanks)
2.) How can I still add an extra heading for the respective products in the category? …I deactivated the category image with your help (thanks)
3.)
Enfold’s advanced layout editor is deactivated on the SHOP page. Can this be activated (how?) or is this critical for the shop to function properly?

Hi, I can’t find where I have to ask my question at the support page.
I’ ve a website with Enfold on it but we needed a license token to get the new updates.
We’ve purchased the license. But now it doesn’t validate on the website.
How can I make it work?
Thanks, Linda
Hi, hoping someone can shed some insight. I recently updated to Enfold 5.6.10 and everything appears to be fine, except for the Masonry and Masonry Gallery elements. For instance, on my News page, the categories appear but the actual masonry part does not. Same issue with anywhere that I have a Masonry element or grid setup. Settings for them seem to be fine, but then they’re not showing on the page.
Is there a setting separate from these elements that I need to update after updating the Enfold Theme? Or something else common to check for?

Hello, my website is running Enfold Child Theme. This was installed many years ago. I no longer have any login credentials, nor was it purchased. Hence, I don’t have any registration key, etc. My website is down now because of a glitch in the old Enfold Child version the website is running. In order to update the Enfold Child Theme, I have to get a token. But I’m having trouble doing that as I can’t log or create an account. Please help me as this is very urgent.
Hey limedrop,
Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
.sub_menu li.menu-item-language {
margin-top: -8px;
}
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi,
I’ve create a personal token in envato following the instructions. I’m afraid that they do not send an alert to update the template. It says that I do have the last version “No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (5.1.2)” but enfold has release the 5.6.10 version. Why is not updating the template?
Hey!
UPDATE: Regarding 1 & 2, we registered the background image of the color section in the Yoast sitemap. Please update the enfold/config-wordpress-seo/config.php file with this code: https://pastebin.com/N3rmYPRW
Best regards,
Ismael
I’m using the WP Job Openings plugin for job listings. I’m facing some challenges when it comes to customizing the job details page.
Unfortunately, there are no advanced Enfold options available on the page settings itself for the job details page. I’ve searched through the Enfold documentation and the WP Job Openings plugin documentation, but I haven’t been able to find a clear solution.
I would like to have full width and the top menu as I have on others, but unfortunately I can not find how to make edit on this post type.
Thanks
Hi,
1-2.) Unfortunately, this is beyond the scope of support. You may need to hire a freelance developer to help you with this customization. You can find freelancers by visiting our customization page.
4.) We updated the Yoast config to include posts images to the sitemap. Please edit the enfold/config-wordpress-seo/config.php, remove everything, and then replace it with the content from the following link: https://pastebin.com/kRh3YKbh

Ismael
Hi,
Glad we were able to help, if you have any further questions please create a new thread and we will gladly try to help you. Thank you for using Enfold.

Hi,
Thank you for the link to your site, you are getting the error because the code above is pointing to my test site.
Please change the url in the code to your page with the blog element, here:
// Initial loading of content with specific section
loadContent('https://enfold.savvyify.com/embed-2', true);
I also had set my grid row height to 100% of the page, you may want to try this.
Best regards,
Mike
Hi,
Thank you for the update.
The automatic update in your dashboard is no longer supported by the version currently installed on your site, 4.8.6.1. To update the theme, you’ll need to do so manually either via S/FTP or by uploading the theme files directly to your server. For more info, please refer to the documentation provided below.
// https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/#update-via-ftp
Best regards,
Ismael
Hey Erin,
Thank you for the inquiry.
You need to set the home or front page in the Enfold > Theme Options > Frontpage Settings. Please reset the options in the Settings > Reading or the Appearance > Customize panel to default, then configure the settings as described.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hi.
Installed new Enfold theme on my new customers site. The tried to install enfold child, as i have done 200 times, but won’t install. I keep getting the unidentified archive -message (yhteensopimaton arkisto in finnish). What gives? I use the newest Enfold and created even the new enfold-child.zip -file by moving the child files into new enfold.zip ….?
Hey there, I think I found a bug with Enfold’s Masonry block. I have a few posts I want to display that are in two categories, let’s say ‘My category’ and ‘upcoming’. Picking those two categories and switching the inclusion logic to AND results in my Masonry showing no posts. This happens regardless of chosen categories to be on the same level or a mixture of main and sub-categories, or different categories that match other posts, I already tried that.
Needless to say, categories and posts are published, not private, and WordPress and Enfold are on current versions, thus up-to-date. Is this a known issue with Enfold these days?
Hi,
Try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:
#top #wrap_all .av-burger-overlay .av-burger-overlay-scroll #av-burger-menu-ul > .av-active-burger-items > a {
font-weight: 900;
color: red !important;
}
Please ensure to copy the code from the forum and not an email notification so the symbols are not converted.
After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check.
Please see the screenshot in the Private Content area of the expected results.

Hi,
Sorry I don’t know what you mean, WordPress knows what parent theme your child theme is using by the template line in your style.css file:

so ensure this is correct and your parent theme is named correctly:

I’m pretty sure that you can not use the bundled LayerSlider files in any other themes, so it makes since that this is checking the theme, I don’t know how to circumvent the theme & LayerSlider security.
Have you noticed any other issues with your site, I assume that you have already tried disabling your plugins and any other customizations. Please note that if you have a customized header.php or footer.php, please don’t use these, it is the most common reason for errors when updating. Please remove these files and any customizations you wish to make should be done in your child theme functions.php
Best regards,
Mike
Hi,
Please ensure that you are using the latest Enfold version, v5.6.10 if you just updated note that mailchimp updated their API, so double check that your API key is correct and then you will need to resave the API key in the theme and edit the page with the form and re-save it again for the form to load,
If this doesn’t help then please include an admin login in the Private Content area and link to a test page so we can be of more assistance.
Best regards,
Mike
Hi,
Try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:
@media only screen and (max-width: 480px) {
.caption_bottom .slideshow_caption .slideshow_inner_caption .slideshow_align_caption, .caption_bottom .slideshow_caption .slideshow_inner_caption {
padding: 0;
}
}
Please ensure to copy the code from the forum and not an email notification so the symbols are not converted.
After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check.

Hi,
Thanks for the screenshot I believe that you want to embed one page into another and have the links open in the same embed section.
Such as embed the blog in one side of a grid row and then open the clicked posts in the same section, this is quite tricky but I believe that I have achieved it on this test page.

in the backend I have a grid row element and one side has a background image and the other side has a code block element:

the code block element has this code:
<div id="embedded-section"></div>
<script>
window.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded', function() {
(function($) {
var initialContent = null; // Variable to store the initial content
// Function to load content via AJAX
function loadContent(url, initialLoad = false) {
$.ajax({
url: url,
type: 'GET',
dataType: 'html', // Explicitly expect HTML
success: function(data) {
var content;
// Determine the selector based on whether it's the initial load
if (initialLoad) {
content = $(data).find('#av_section_1').html();
} else {
// Try the first selector
content = $(data).find('.av-main-single').html();
// If not found, try the second selector
if (!content) {
content = $(data).find('.post-entry').html();
}
}
// Check if content was found
if (content) {
if (!initialLoad) {
content = '<a href="#" class="back-link">Back</a>' + content; // Prepend back link to content
} else {
initialContent = content; // Save initial content if it's the initial load
}
$('#embedded-section').html(content);
bindLinkClicks(); // Re-bind click events to new links within the content
} else {
console.error('Requested content not found using the provided selectors.');
$('#embedded-section').html('Requested content not found.');
}
},
error: function(xhr, status, error) {
console.error('Error loading content:', error);
$('#embedded-section').html('Error loading content.');
}
});
}
// Bind click events to links within the embedded section
function bindLinkClicks() {
$('#embedded-section a').off('click').on('click', function(event) {
event.preventDefault(); // Prevent default link behavior
var linkUrl = $(this).attr('href'); // Get the URL of the clicked link
if ($(this).hasClass('back-link')) {
// If the back link is clicked, load the initial content
$('#embedded-section').html(initialContent);
bindLinkClicks(); // Re-bind click events
} else {
console.log('Attempting to load:', linkUrl);
loadContent(linkUrl); // Load content via AJAX, not initial load
}
});
}
// Initial loading of content with specific section
loadContent('https://enfold.savvyify.com/embed-2', true);
// Initial binding of click events on page load
bindLinkClicks();
})(jQuery);
});
</script>
Please ensure to copy the code from the forum and not an email notification so the symbols are not converted.
Please change the url in the code to your page with the blog element, look for this part of the code:
// Initial loading of content with specific section
loadContent('https://enfold.savvyify.com/embed-2', true);
Now the page that is embeded is a ALB page with a color section set to 100% height and a blog element inside:

by default the first color section of a ALB page has the ID av_section_1, this is important because it is what the script calls and will only show this section, not the header, footer, or sidebar, but set this page to no sidebar as the content width is affected.
Now to show the posts with no header, footer or sidebar we will use the class av-main-single for Classic Editor pages and if that is not found because it is a ALB post we will try post-entry, so when a post link is clicked the post will load in the same section:

Now since the back button on the browser won’t work we added a small “back” link at the top of the embed section:

Please give this a try.
Please note that this will only work for pages and links on your site.
Please note Page Preloading will interfere, so please disable.
Best regards,
Mike
Hello Mike,
To refer to the sentence;
I don’t know what you mean by: Enfold main map within the theme map
I mean that within the normal themes map WordPress provides, I need to upload a fresh Enfold theme map.
When I do this, all my child-theme maps points to the renamed theme nivonmain
When I rename the theme within the child-theme-map to enfold, nothing happends.
So I need to no how I get my live websites with child-theme, points out to the fresh enfold theme map.
Greetings Jeen

Hey dowlassmoss,
Thank you for the link to your site, try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:
@media only screen and (max-width: 480px) {
#top.home .avia-slideshow-button {
display: none;
}
}
Please ensure to copy the code from the forum and not an email notification so the symbols are not converted.
After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check.
this will hide the buttons below 480px and then the caption will show.
Best regards,
Mike
Hey Vanex,
Perhaps in Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ Disabling Of Template Builder Elements you have it disabled:

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback, I have followed these steps, nosniff is set in the header, post-xxx.css files are generated on the pages, and I checked incognito on Windows in Chrome, Firefox, Brave & Edge and color section background images show correctly and I have no console log errors:

Best regards,
Mike
Hi,
Thanks but I’m not getting any helpful debug info, on your customization panel I get this error:
incorect use of “label for=FORM_ELEMENT” and this is breaking the customization panel so nothing shows:

so since you said that you had a mailchimp plugin installed before, I assume that you had added a form somewhere in the customization that is now causing this error, and this is causing the widget panel conflict so that nothing shows and nothing can be added or removed:

If you use accessibility mode you can see the newsletter widget, but still nothing can be added or removed. The error for class-avia-mailchimp.php on line 153 doesn’t help because that is the broken widget looking for a list but you don’t have a API key installed:

So I don’t know how you will be able to remove this broken form in the customizer added by your other plugin, perhaps if you reinstall the other plugin you will regain access to the customizer and can remove the form to correct the conflict, or if that doesn’t help try rolling back to one of your webhost backups before this error occurred, perhaps three days ago, or when you first noticed it.
Best regards,
Mike
Hi Mike,
I just want to make sure you have investigated this properly. I am not asking you to use security tools to check the headers.
To troubleshoot this propery and recreate the issue:
1 – Enable the post css create file (default settings)
2 – Ensure NoSniff header is set.
3 – Log out of wordpress and browse to a few pages to generate the post css files
4 – Go to a private browsing window and visit those same pages and check the console.
5 – The problem is immedietely noticable on pages that use a colour section with a background image set. The background image will be missing because the post CSS file is blocked by the no sniff settings.
This occured on every single Enfold site on my server. So ive got the post css generation turned off on all sites as a workaround.
Let me know if you follow these steps whether you still see the problem.
