My website is for a used car dealership, and while I should have gone with a pre-made car template, I often custom design styles and use Enfold 2017 to produce it. But I may have designed something over my head and am hoping you can help.
I’m essentially needing a basic search and filter function for my car listings (no other car listings plugins have worked).
I created an Inventory page that contains a list of “Page Content” content elements, each one being a new car listing that I created as a portfolio page. I did this because I want my portfolio entries to display one after the other as their full content, not merely images with a single title like the “Portfolio Grid” content element does or the the “Blog Posts” content element does. I’m open to working with posts but the “Page Content” feature does not display posts, only Pages and Portfolio.
And I really like how the “Page Content” content elements shows my full design of each portfolio car listing.
Here’s where I need assistance: I’d like to be able to filter these listings. Is it possible to have a filter read the content of each of the listings, in order to provide refined results? So if there was a car type drop down, you could then select from a list of cars that were being showed on the inventory page. I tried working with the Search & Filter Plugin, but that wasn’t working. The plugin is still activated if you want to work with it for a solution.
Here is a link to what I’m imagining (four searches for Year, Make, Model, and Color) and the drop downs of those searches would only contain info relating to the listing.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1G2Zaej45ZteMVd_7cb_yqtv7oW8UZtea/view?usp=sharing
And here is a preview of what I’ve created:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tfuI-U8lsnKyArteO4v56VEwauxsxCyD/view?usp=sharing
If this is considered custom, I’d be happy to pay for the help!!
Hi,
I would like to know which LMS plugin matches better with Enfold. I’ve searched in this forum and I’ve found 2 posts, but they are of 2016 and 2018. I would like to know if there are some new better options.
Thanks in advance,
Jordi

I’m working in Enfold with the transparent header and using the mobile menu. While the transparent header is up the hamburger menu and the search icon are grey and once the user scrolls up and the transparency goes away, the two icons stay gray. I’d like the hamburger menu and the search icon to be white and then to change to gray once the transparent menu background changes to white.
Also, in the icon bar above the header that holds the social media icons and the phone number. I replaced the phone number with an email address but the email address won’t change colors like the rest fo the social icons. I’d like it to be white on the transparent background and grey on the white background.
Hello team,
I migrated my web site on a new theme because the old one is close now and no upgrade and some error messages.
I bought Enfold and I think that’s a good choice. But I have some problems:
I want o to add my API key for google MAP into ENFLOD options. But the case for writing below isn’t this for MAP but for CHIMPS ??
I checked the version of Enfold and launch research of the new version, nothing … I’m in 4.7.2 ?? when I’m looking it’s seen the last version is 4.7.4 ??
Could you help me to fix these problems?
Who sends you screen capture?
My web site is in maintenance mode during the upgrade.
Many thanks in advance.
BR
I created a page on http://s759551828.websitehome.co.uk
I selected social icons to be displayed in the socket at Enfold -> Footer -> Social Icons, but they do not appear. Any ideas? I tried a couple of the fixes I found on a forum search but no joy.
Thanks in advance.
I found that Category Pages is a good method to improve the hierarchy of my website. It can help people surf my website more effectively and make every content on my site more organized.
But in Enfold, the Category Page can not customize like a Landing Page. It only has a title, Description. The Description can be the content for these Page, shown on the top of these pages. But many problems to customize the description with the default editor provided by WordPress. The CSS in my site also does not apply for this content any more.
How to customize the category pages?
My purpose is
– Add some text content on the Top
– Show series of post in sub-categories of this category below in lines (ex: Sub-1: series posts 1, Sub-2: series posts 2)
– Remove the posts automatic pulled from default Category Page (Bottom of these pages)
– Does any WordPress Plugin make my life is better?
I research on the Internet and have some advice
– Make a new template for each Category Page? I wonder this approach work, does it make my site bigger than it needed because many PHP files loaded.
– Customize in the Description area? Like I said above, CSS does not apply for this area, how can I do that right way?
– Redirect the Category Page to another customized Landing Page. If nothing effective, I will use this approach, I don’t like taking a detour
Please help me, I have spent a lot of time to research but still no optimal way.
Hey ppi37,
Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
#menu-item-search {
display: none;
}
}
Best regards,
Rikard
Having same issue, and even tho I am using the most current version of Enfold (4.7.4) only a little square is showing for both social icons and the Search icon appended to the main menu.
thanks for your help

Hello, I have a couple of plugins which use shortcodes but they do not seem to work. I have searched on Google for the answer and, although I cannot find a solution, it does appear to be an issue with Enfold WordPress theme. Are you able to help, please?

Dear Community,
I’m happily using enfold, but now I need an option to filter a gallery (standard or masonry) by attributes. (I tagged the pictures in my media library with several categories before)
It should work like https://fooplugins.com/foogallery-pro-filtering/ for example. Is there anything roughly similar available in Enfold?
I’ve tried to work with Enfold’s Portfolio, but there its afaik not possible to combine categories in a search (e.g. T-Shirt + Red + Cotton)
Any helpful hints are highly appreciated!
Thanx, Martin
Well Victoria,
I typically spend a fair amount of time researching your forum and available documentation before turning to you guys for support. This time wasn’t any different. So, please forgive me when I have to say that your response didn’t help. It may well be that the information I require is in there somewhere, but since I’m not an expert developer, I was hoping for a bit more specific information on how to make this plugin work on Enfold.
Many thanks for looking into this again.
Answer:
1) When I click on the General Styling tab, the predefined color schemes are greyed out.
I just did another search and discovered help at this link:
Why did I click on it? Because the image in their preview showed that the color schemes were greyed out.
Because it’s not obvious, it would help if you included some descriptive text that all the color schemes are greyed out until you click on one!
Doh!!
Answer:
3) Breadcrumbs … (new term for me)
Somehow I missed the Enfold documentation page…
I’m obviously more awake today. Hope my research has been helpful to others!

1) When I click on the General Styling tab, the predefined color schemes are greyed out.
2) How do I delete the link in the footer: Enfold WordPress Theme by Kriesi
3) How do I delete You are here:
I have done a good number of searches without finding the answers.
Thanks for your help!
Hello, Enfold team,
On all pages with a Gravity form, a white line is formed under the footer. After a few hours of research, I noticed that after clicking in the datepicker, the white line disappeared. This happens on all browsers.
For exemple this page: https://creativeaventure.flywheelsites.com/excursion-ang-thong-marine-park/
Is there anything you can do to remove this white line? I tried a lot of things, but I can’t find a solution.
Thank you for your help.

Dear Support,
I really would have hoped that with the last update you would accept the user requests that have been coming to you since 2014. Google: enfold social media buttons
At all elements, user should have the ability to insert the social media set. Social Media is in focus since years or decades. Since nearly a decade, users ask to Enfold / Kriesi for a cool icon bar with social icons to implement.
A good Example of Icon Sets
Kriesi have no time for this. And Enfold user must define manual css at certain places and play and code and ask you every time from zero. And use some short code and css snippets instead to give the user a set, which can user can choose the style in this region, where is it needed.
If i see the code on top: Why does Enfold do this?? I don’t understand, why we have no social media bar element for footer, blog, sidebar and pages: With the set, which we have defined in enfold options.

Enfold solution, looks it comes from outer space
Hi Dogmut,
Enfold doesn’t have that feature but you can check for plugins that does that, you can search for “logo carousel”.
I tried to check out this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-logo-showcase-responsive-slider-slider/ and it seems to work great and responsive as well.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Nikko
Hey Bruno,
Here is the code you can put in Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css, if it does not work, put into themes/enfold/css/custom.css
#top #s,
.main_color .search-result-counter {
color: #fff;
}
If you need further assistance please let us know.

Issue number 2: I imported the demo correctly but seems that the images are not imported correctly. This is a common issue as you can see here https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=enfold+not+importing+images and recommend you contact with the developer of the theme in order to solve it because he can provide you the images in order to uplod them to the server.
Hi Jordan,
The site/page is in a local folder, which means I unfortunately can’t provide you with a link to the site.
I’ll try to elaborate the issue:
– If i choose the Enfold predefined color scheme, the burgermenu is white by default – no matter which color scheme I choose.
– I have tried to custom color the burger menu in ‘Advanced Styling’, where I chose the following items to customize; ‘Menu Item Button’ and ‘Main Menu Indicator’ (mainly just to see, if the page changed what so ever). To this I used the ‘Minimal White’ color scheme (predefined for Enfold) and then I customized the burgermenu to following HEX #30489e. Only the Search icon changes color. I have no trouble changing the color of the text within the burgermenu (parent and child menus). It’s the image/icon of the burgermenu that wont change color.
I have not yet tried to fix it using Quick CSS, but I’ve searched for possible answers.
Sincerely,
Marika

How can I change the text color in the SEARCH field to white and the color of the numbers in the circular icons in the result list?
https://ibb.co/1KfM4YM
I tried to change the color using the Enfold panel, but the change also affects the color of the paragraph text in the catalog
http://www.brunocover.it/CMS/wordpress/trikego/?page_id=3129
that must not change. I would like to be able to change ONLY the text in the search field and the color of the numbers in the circular icons of the search results list, as shown in the image.
https://ibb.co/1KfM4YM
Thanks a lot. best regards. Bruno
Hey adxdigitalmarketing,
Sorry for the late reply, find the loop-search.php in enfold/includes and make a copy of it and upload it to your child-theme subfolder “includes” such as: “enfold-child/includes”
On line 33 look for:
echo "<span class='search-result-counter {$counterclass}'>{$post_loop_count}</span>";
and replace with:
$searchthumb = get_the_post_thumbnail( $the_id, 'large' );
echo "<span class='search-result-counter {$counterclass}'>{$searchthumb}</span>";
The expected results:

Best regards,
Mike
Hey adxdigitalmarketing,
Here is the code you can put in Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css, if it does not work, put into themes/enfold/css/custom.css
@media only screen and (max-width: 1024px) {
nav.main_menu, #menu-item-search {
display: block !important;
}
.menu-item {
display: none;
}
.av-burger-menu-main.menu-item-avia-special {
display: block;
}
}
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,

i want the header looking like that:
logo: left
Menu (burger menu symbol and search symbol). right
header widget (button): right
The menu should be directly beside to the button in the header widget.
I added a header widget and a button in it.
I cannot find the right header CSS for this layout.
I tried css from here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/header/
Important: Also working responsive (no overlapping on mobile)
Thanks, greets

Hi,
Thanks for that. Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
#top #header_main_alternate {
background-color: green;
}
#top #header .av-main-nav > li > a, #top #wrap_all #header #menu-item-search>a {
background-color: green;
border-color: green;
}
