As a novice to WordPress/Enfold, I must admit, I assumed that Posts were only used for Blogs :( I guess I should research a little more on when to use Pages vs. Posts :)

Not sure which approach to take yet. We’ll be adding a new “Daily Word” each day, which includes an image with a link to a separate page. Eventually, there will be 365 in a year. As we add more images (i.e. thumbnails to videos), eventually I would like to categorize/tag (?) these with dates so visitors can eventually filter/select videos by Date (i.e. Year), along with other categories/tags (?); Topics (i.e. Faith, Hope, etc. etc.).

With this in mind, how would you suggest that I accomplish this? I would like to build this in upfront to prevent rework.

1) I don’t get an error in the Enfold > Theme Options > Theme Update panel but an error in the Envato Market plugin because more more fields are checked in the https://build.envato.com/create-token besides the

• View and search Envato sites
• Download the user’s purchased items
• List purchases the user has made

But on a other website where I use the Enfold it is the other way around, I created a token with ONLY

• View and search Envato sites
• Download the user’s purchased items
• List purchases the user has made

Here the Envato Market plugin gives no error message, but the Enfold > Theme Options > Theme Update panel gives an error upon validation.

But please forget this,because this is not why I opened this ticket.

The real issue is the masonry BUG I started this thread for, which has not been solved!
The theme is upgraded to the latest version.
The two masonry.php are put in place, so the load more button is working again.

But the BUG is still there!

When I use the code you sent me,

it does not resolve the bug, it merely removes the excerpt everywhere.
But excerpts must be possible as well, that’s why we put the setting in the masonry on “Show tittle and element”.
When the owner puts in a text in the excerpts section of a portfolio item, it should appear, and it does.
But the BUG appears when the owner removes a text from the excerpts section of a portfolio item, see my former posts for screencaptures.
Please check the screencapture in the private content. The green checked items are correct excerpts, the red crosses are items that had previously added excerpts, that were removed later, but still persist in the masonry with extra breaks and content.

I am sorry to say, I am using the Enfold themes for quite some customers and quite some years now, but the way this is handled is not very satisfactory.

Thanks for this input. As this is disruptive (as it gets lost with every update), it should be included in the enfold core. It’s not breaking anything and will pop up more often, as the error in search console impacts more people.

I believe I cannot add this as a feature request, as the form is currently not available. Could you please forward it?

Updating with Thema Options > Thema Update is working.
For me that’s important enough, I don’t see the relevance of having the Envato Market plugin, so I will de-activate it.
It may be confusing for Enfold users to advise to use the Envato Market plugin as it gives error messages concerning checked boxes in the https://build.envato.com/create-token/ while Enfold advises/requires more boxes to be checked.

Thanks for your reply and for the previous version, at least now the load more button works.
But I am feeling we’ve landed in a Kafkaesque situation.

1) I followed your advise to install the Envato Market plugin. Upon checking the token it gave the following messages:

I searched in the Envato Community and the reason for these message appears to be that too many options were checked,

On another website where I also use Enfold, I deleted the token and created a new one with only the 3 options mentioned in the previous message:

• View and search Envato sites
• Download your purchased items
• List purchases you’ve made.

This was okayed by the Envato Market plugin, but when I try to validate the token in Enfold options > Update
it gave these errorcodes

username Errorcode 403 returned by Envato: Forbidden:
– code: not_authenticated
email Errorcode 403 returned by Envato: Forbidden:
– code: not_authenticated

It did however update to the newest version. But it is very confusing to say the least.

2) I hope the devs come up soon with a fix, so we can upgrade again in order to get rid of the bug I started this ticket for.

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately the site is within our internal network and is not available publicly. However I can give you steps to reproduce (and can provide additional info if you need).

Wordpress 5.8.3
WP Knowledgebase Plugin Version 1.3.4 (free version) located here https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-knowledgebase/
Enfold Theme Version 4.8.8.1 (no child theme)
Import the business flat demo

Create three pages
KB_test_1 – Switch to the default editor. Enter some page content, just a line or two of text. My result: the text appears in the standard page template as expected, with a white background and appropriate padding between the page content and the window border/header/footer.

KB_test_2 – Switch to the default editor. Use the shortcode block. Enter the knowlegebase plugin shortcode. Find the shortcode in Admin Panel -> Knowledgebase -> Settings -> General Settings -> Knowledgebase Slug. My slug is ‘knowledgebase’ so I entered [knowledgebase] in the shortcode block. Publush the page, and the shortcode will appear as text. Then go back to Admin Panel -> Knowledgebase -> Settings -> General Settings. Set the knowledgebase main page to KB_test_2. Also set Enable Search to true in the Knowledgebase Search section. Save changes. Refresh the page. My result: the knowledgebase page appears, with search at the top and categories of articles showing. However, rather than standard page styling, the page content is completely up against the header and the left side of the page, and the background color is set to a dark blue (but not the same as the header as I originally believed). See the linked screenshot for more detail.

KB_test_3 – Switch to the advanced layout editor. Add content elements – code block. The instructions for this block specifically state you can use plugin shortcodes here. Add the shortcode the same as from the previous step. Leave all other settings as their defaults. Save and publish the page. The shortcode will display as text. Now go to Admin Panel -> Knowledgebase -> Settings -> General Settings. Set the knowledgebase main page to KB_test_3 and save. Reload KB_test_3. My result: shortcode continues to be displayed as text and does not render.

I have another site that uses a different theme where using the shortcode renders the plugin content inside of the page container – that’s my desired behavior. If for some reason you are unable to replicate the issue, any information you can give me about using plugin shortcodes with enfold would be helpful.

Is there any chance you might have a link to share so I can learn more about this function? I’ve searched Enfold but could only find support tickets for errors. I’m keen to learn how, when, and why to use this function.

I use the option “Live test” in Search Console. As I already explained turning of Enfold cache will cause problems with loading all resources. Turning Enfold cache options on, and all resources are loaded.

So it seems to me that Google always tries to load all resources in “Live test”!

I have 22 websites in Search Console and for all these websites Google is loading ALL resources :)
