I’ve been searching the forum how to make the body text Roboto font. I found this solution but both don’t work:
In my child theme in functions.php:

Continuing on this thread two years later.
I have a similar question. I have resized the featured image using the Simple Image Sizes plugin. I does work but only to a degree as featured image doesn’t allow to pick a size when you actually choose the image and therefore it will not work with retina images.To be precise – Enfold featured images will not – as far I have noticed – work with the Retina 2x plugin by Meow Apps, simply because I have to choose the original retina sized image in the media library. The theme will then load the retina image at all times. This is of course not good, especially since an image that is too large will make the theme crop the image 12% in the top and bottom.
I have searched this forum, but there doesn’t seem to be a good solution for retina images on the featured image yet. The only solution I can think of is to insert a normal size image as a featured image – say 800×450.jpg and then manually place the (Email address hidden if logged out) in the uploads directory via ftp. I havn’t tried it yet though.
If I am wrong here or any one has come up with a better solution. I’d be happy to know about it.

Just started using the Enfold theme. I love it! I want to replace the Enfold Ajax Search in the Main Menu Bar with the Ecwid Product Search that searches our online store.Here is the website:

I tried your suggestion, however the contact form’s datepicker’s days of the week names (M, T, W, T, F etc.) and month names (JAN, FEB, MAR, APR) are not in the .po files. So then I did a search on the whole Enfold theme but still could not find references to them.Where can I find them and how best to translate them – are they directly in WordPress instead? Thanks!

My WooCommerce Icons are missing in my backend and frontend!
All icons for other plugins and wp are there.
Icons like the shoppingcart, arrows, search magnifier and maybe others that I´m not aware of, are missing/not showing.
Tried a solution with adding code to my .htaccess, with no result.
Tried re-uploading Enfold theme through c-panel, with no result.
Tried clearing cashe, with no result.
Same problem when viewing from mobile phone.
I have Enfold Child-Theme installed.
What can I do, or you help with?
Topic: sport fonts in Fontello
I’ve noticed some icon fonts on a Enfold website (see url in Private) and when I search http://fontello.com none of them appear in the list. Do you have any idea how these alternative icon fonts are being obtained?
I’m having issues with Events Calendar Pro that are related to Enfold integration. I’ve contacted Modern Tribe and they’ve referred me back to you.
1. A number of template settings were missing. I found your solution to this in another thread. That code does make the settings visible, but they don’t work! I selected a different template and unchecked “disable event search bar”, saved it, and nothing changed. When I leave the display tab and go back again, the settings are back to the default.
2. Content added to “Add HTML before event content” is hidden behind the search bar. It also pushes the search bar down, leaving a gap between the header and the search bar.
The problem I need to solve: I need to have a menu that shows up only on the events page that allows users to select event categories. My preference would be to have a sidebar on this page and be able to put it there. The client also wants a list of links to partner organizations’ calendars. This ideally would go in a sidebar, too. Is there any way to put the events page content on a template with a sidebar?

I am using a plugin called “Search & Filter pro”, providing very good search functionalities for Woocommerce. With this plugin running, the sorting options in the shop page do not work anymore, simply nothing happens/changes.
Switching off the plugin – sorting works.
Switching to a standard theme, with plugin running – sorting works.The combination between this plugin and Enfold disables the sorting.
Now, the developer of the plugins tells me:
Ok, so, the ordering box you have on that page is not from WooCommerce. This is why it doesn’t work.
WooCommerce has its own “ordering” field, which it places at the top of every shop, and this paramater, when you perform a search in the URL is orderby, yours is product_order.Any solution how to overcome this?

KlausI upgraded our Enfold installation today to the latest version.
When my page loads, the search box is showing up on the navigation bar and then after a few seconds it disappears.
It should be showing at all until the user clicks on the Magnifying Glass.
It’s happening in Edge & Chrome. It is not happening in FireFox.
how can I fix this?

Just to add further to this, when I click on a product to see it’s details, I get an Error 404 – page not found page that says:
Nothing Found
Sorry, the post you are looking for is not available. Maybe you want to perform a search?Even if I go in the backend to edit the product page and hit “Preview Changes” it still gives me the exact same Error 404.
This issue did NOT exist before updating Enfold to the latest version.

I have searched for 3rd party plugins but I haven’t found any that were useful. I am trying to achieve something similar to this:

I’m looking to create a full width div underneath the Enfold Header nav elements so that I can insert a search widget.
I was able to create a Widget in my header, but I’m wresting with placing it as I’d like. I can move the widget around using CSS, but can’t seem to create the spacing under the nav elements
The PNG Image attached shows you what I am trying to achieve.
I’ve also included a link to my dev site that shows the current layout
Any advice is much appreciated!

1.) Use html in your footer widget to use linked text.
2.) Try this code inside of Quick CSS field:
#text-2 .textwidget { text-align: center; }3.) You need to search for a plugin with such a function.
4.) Not sure if it will be possible the way you need it. Try to activate debug mode:
to be able to see shortcodes. Then build the elements inside a page the way you want it. Use the shortcodes to implement them inside your widget.

AndyHi, this ist very urgent. It`s a new site for a client-project and very time critical.
I tried to change the Logo-Area (functions-enfold.php) – now nothing works anymore.
The thing is, i need next the logo a big text and not a big graphic-text. First i tried to do it with a logo-grafic with text.
but we need a responsive Text.
Then i searched and found some support-changes – i tried a few php-changes – it worked, but suddenly nothing works anymore.Could you please help me?!!

I have tried disabling all plugins accept WooCommerce and still get the error only while using Enfold.I am pretty confident there is an issue with Enfold, I recently updated to 3.5.3.
I have done a lot of research and none of the solutions I can find appear to be working
We are losing quite a bit of money while the site is down. Help would be greatly appreciated!

I’m pretty sure that you guys are sick of getting this kind of question. I did lots of research but, couldn’t really figure out exactly how to do it.
Basically, I’m using pages to login, logout and register in sub-menu. After someone log-in, I’d like to show ” Hello, username “, and logout page in sub-menu. Could you please let me know how to do that ?

If I understood correctly, I would need to put some codes in themes/enfold/includes/helper-main-menu.php. Is this right ?

I was assigning child category to my posts, but when i checked my posts in search engine it show breadcrumb.
Example of one Post:
my parent category is “Blogger Template” and i crated child categories

Now when i assign child category to any post, it is then showing breadcrumb in search engine:

Please give me solution, so that i assign the same child category and it show url not breadcrumbs in search engine, like for my recent posts i did not assign child category and thats posts show url in search engine, but for all posts where i assign child category it show breadcrumbs. I also did not use yoast breadcrumbs i disabled that already.
Summary: i will assign child category, and will use the breadcrumbs navigation/wrapper too, but not to show the breadcrumbs in search engine. It should be the post url in search engine.
I hope someone will resolve my problem.
I suppose many questions could be avoided if I knew where to dig to correct Enfold elements design and their behaviour.
I for example tired searching for classes and IDs used to color main menu items at all their stances. Of course I can ask a question but I’m afraid too much questions are going to be asked regarding CSS used in Enfold as they are too complicated to search through them by just looking.Hey kww!

Are you adding new contents to the site every now and then? Google rankings can come and go if you don’t exert enough efforts to maintain it. It’s not something permanent. Quality or updated content is one criteria required by search engines among many others. You might also want to ask google to re-crawl or re-index the pages of your site: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6065812?hl=en

Hey there!
Apologies if this has been answered, I’m new to WP and have tried searching but to no avail.
I recently built a site locally on my computer, simply to get a feel for Enfold and learn the ropes of WP. This site as it turns out will be for a business later on and I was hoping to eventually take it online once I got the green light from the client. I recently got an email for the new Enfold update and simultaneously discovered I should have been using a child theme to ease future updates. Oops. My question is whats the best way to go about updating this current site aswell as future updates? Am I better off to completely start fresh, install the Enfold Child theme, and then re-build this site saving me from all future headaches, or is there a way to salvage the site without risking losing everything in this update.
