Hi,
So I followed all the directions, verified site ownership in Google Search Console, regenerated an API key, and this is the response that I get from Enfold’s Google Services tab:Could not connect to Mailchimp with this API Key. Please try again with a different key
You might also want to check your internet connection and make sure that mailchimp.com is availableSo, I know I keep getting told that it’s a problem with what I’m doing in google, but that that seriously indicates otherwise!
Now I saw a thread where Yigit said to manually re-update the theme–that’s not possible for us. First of all, no idea how to do so. Second, we’ve got a client review tomorrow. Third and most importantly, the problem existed before I applied the last update. Any ideas? Seems like a lot of folks are having Google Maps issues.
Thanks!
Hi,
I have tried to search for a solution to this issue, but have yet to find an adequate solution. I love the animated numbers feature in the Enfold Photography theme. However, I would like to have the number automatically update based on the number of images in my masonry gallery on the page.
I tried to inject php to count the attachments, but since the masonry gallery part, itself, is a shortcode this causes some issues. Is there a way to display the number based off of the masonry gallery item count rather than having to update it for each item whenever a gallery is updated or created?
Thank you,

IsraelHi,
I have been searching for a solution to the following issue:
I want to use a custom Blog page, and have that working without any issue by setting the Page name I want to use in Enfold->Theme Options, and then selecting the “Use Advanced Layout Editor…. ” in the Enfold->Blog Layout. This works great for the default blog archive page, and allows me to customize that page perfectly.
The problem arises when I look at any of the category archive pages, as they do not seem to follow the design and layout of the page specified as the default Blog page.
For example – where the default blog page has a “post element” set to display with excerpts, and the page displaying a sidebar – the category archive pages seem to ignore this entirely, and shows full articles, and no sidebar at all… and to be fair, it looks quite messy, and isn’t at all how we would like the category archives to display. Basically – we want them to be identical to the main archive page, just specifically showing the posts for that category.
Are you able to point me in the right direction as to how this can be achieved?
Thanks in Advance – you guys do awesome work in your support on these forums!
Topic: Search Product Variations
Hi there guys,
Is there a way to make the Enfold ajax search to also include product variations in the search results?
Best regards
Hey there,
I’m searching for a way to fill Content-Slider, Tab-Section and others, not only with texts, but with enfolds powerful Elements like an image-slider, buttons etc.Thx for your help.
Hello
for details, please check the photo in below link
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6L9QZ3Td5YjQlEwdFloQ21CV0k/view?usp=sharing
Can any one help how to make it separately?
also, I want to make the Logo smaller in mobile view, how to achieve that?
(I think it will leave more space for the search icon, menu icon and cart icon)By the way, thanks for the great mobile menu with product search feature. that’s a great great great step forwards.
Hi.
I’ve got a problem with enfold 4.1.1.
On a phone or a tablet in vertical way, my logo and burger menu are overlapping each other.
Thats also because with the update, my social media icons in the mainheader are visible on phone and tablet. Never was before.
I’ve never experienced this problems with version 4.0.7. Example: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3iakfhyiceyy2v3/screenshot.png?dl=0Can I disable/hide the social buttons only in phone and tabled, On pc they must be visable…?
OR maybe better, move the logo to the left side so everything fits…Can I disable/hide the search function on the mobile version…?
Thank you.
I have noticed that whenever I use a media element from the theme builder, like an image slider, the images elements are output with http rather than https. This only happens when using the theme builder. Everything else on the site is setup for SSL correctly and works as it should. But when I add a new page or product that uses a media element from the builder, save the draft or publish, I then have to go and do a search/replace in the database to fix the mixed content issues.
Not sure what the easiest fix would be, but logically it would be to either have the theme reference what is set in the site options for the site URL, or to have an option in the Enfold settings to toggle on an SSL mode for all elements.
Before the 4.1.1 update, due to the width of the main menu elements, I used CSS to switch to the mobile menu at 1150px via this code:
@media only screen and (max-width: 1150px) { nav.main_menu {display:none !important;} #advanced_menu_toggle, #advanced_menu_hide {display:block !important;} }This used to work fine but 4.1.1 has broken this because the whole structure of the menu has now altered and some of the old mobile menu classes have been changed.
I cannot however work out how to get this working again in 4.1.1 – I have tried all sorts of variations of classes but nothing works. Please advise some new CSS to switch to the mobile menu at 1150px.
This suggestion does not solve the problem because between 1150px and 990px the burger icon appears in the space where the normal menu was displayed as seen in this screenshot – plus the mobile search icon is missing.
So, how to add the search icon with the burger at 1150px, and have the two of them in the ‘correct’ place from 1150px downwards, as seen here?
Hi,
I’m thinking of applying the Enfold Theme to my new Website, and have to major questions/tasks:
1. I’m going to run my White-Label-Webshop on a subdomain (shop.myurl.at), and want to add a search field-function below or instead of the slider to the Homepage of the main Website (www.myurl.at) to lead customers to my webshop. This search field would consist of a code that need to be inserted and would link to the webshop on the subdomain. Is this possible with Enfold? (I would guess so, but want to get sure)
2. Part of the new website should be a page showing my product portfolio. As some of this portfolio is available in my (White Label-)webshop on the subdomain, I want to insert a custom code that displays these products on the page The code will be in the form of: (see more code in private content)
<form target=”<webshop URL on a subdomain>” id=”searchForm” method=”get” action=”http://www….” […] </form>
So: Is it possible to customize a webpage to display both, the products from the white-label-shop, and below my other products?
Hello,
I’ve tried to test my Mailchimp form on my site. You can find it in the link I sent below.
As you can see by filling out the details and hitting Subscribe, you get a message saying “please make sure that your fields are filled in correctly.” I’ve done some research in other issues on this forum but could not replicate any of the proposed solutions. From the Mailchimp side I’m using a general form. From the Enfold side I used an ALB element.I’ve tried different solutions, including hiding different elements. What I’ve found is that when I hide the drop down options it works.
Thank you for any suggestions,
– NickPrior to upgrading my nav menu was centered under the header image with search icon beside. Now it is stretched out and not centered. Can anyone assist?
Dear Enfold team,
My site uses two versions of the nav-menu – one for logged in users, and one for logged out users. I use the [avia_search] shortcode to add the search button to the ‘logged in’ menu. However, since the update, the ‘button-box’ appears but, there is no search icon, and clicking it does nothing.
Could you kindly please take a look?
Sincerely,
Anthony
Topic: search function
Hello, is it possible to add a search function like in this theme to Enfold theme?
Hello
A client is building a webshop and he is using the Enfold theme for that.
It’s a rather large shop and he is using the “Smart WooCommerce Search” plugin for a better search on his site.
I did not know that plugin but it seems to be very good, however, it was very very sVERY low on this specific website. We contacted the creator of the plugin and they investigated it and now they say that it probably has something to do with the fact that there are two ajax calls for search. They ask if we can disable the theme ajax search feature to check if that can be the solution.
Now, my question is … How can I disable Enfolds ajax search feature? Do I have to comment out some code? How? And where?
Until now there is not a child theme yet. If possible my client would like to avoid that. He is using the “custom functions” plugin to add extra code to the theme. It would be nice if we can disable the ajax search feature by adding code to the “custom functions” plugin.
Thank you for the help.
Hi all,
How do you target the array that outputs the words on ajax search when no search results are found?
The array lives in functions-enfold.php on lines 405 to 419.I was thinking of adding
function avia_ajax_search() { $search_messages = array( 'no_criteria_matched' => __("Uh oh! That search term has no results", 'avia_framework'), 'another_search_term' => __("Let's try again", 'avia_framework'), 'time_format' => get_option('date_format'), 'all_results_query' => http_build_query($_REQUEST), 'all_results_link' => home_url('?' . http_build_query($_REQUEST)), 'view_all_results' => __('View all results','avia_framework') ); } add_filter( 'wp_ajax_avia_ajax_search', 'avia_ajax_search' );to childs functions.php but that seems to break the ajax results
Any pointers?
Thanks
TJ
