Hi there,
I am currently developing a WooCommerce Shop-Site. For some reason, there are no space characters possible in all the headlines, buttons. I am using this theme at least for the tenth time, but I never had THAT problem before. I already reinstalled the Enfold theme, but still same problem…
Please help :)
You can find this problem i.e. on the “Home” Page. Also the headlines in the side bar widgets won’t let me do space characters.PS: Any Idea why the shop site is going so slow?! The pictures are not big in size, so I have no idea why that is…

A sad story of Enfold.
Social media marketing and embedding of easier link solution is not understood by enfold.
This question to have an easier solution for social marketing comes since 2013, referenced in Google for Specific searchenfold social media documentation shortcodes
Some users don’t want to have a share button. A link to the social media profiles is also often requested (instead only in footer or header), without any discussion of the GDPR-Note for social share-buttons. I can’t understand, why not into the “share” element a dropdown is implemented for seleting “share” or “open social media profile”, as we have defined in Enfold.
Despite the many requests over the years.
Many other themes have had simple solutions here for years.
Why you can’t find a solution here, I can’t deduce. Instead, we have to go into some “debug” menus and do some manual work.
I can’t understand, why you make Enfold users the work difficulty.I mean: We have defined the Social Profiles in Enfold. I can’t deduce why this stupid share-bar with these old-fashioned icons is not updated. And you don’t have a widget for sidebar or the website.
Creating something like this must be a feat for Enfold that is impossible to create: yes, I know we should install the 30121 plugin additionally.
It would be nice, if you implement this feature in your roadmap, which is requested again and again very often since 2013. (See google).

Theme Updates won’t work in that version because envato has changed the system from using API keys to using personal tokens.
Please try to install and activate this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/ and do the following steps:- Make sure this plugin is installed and activated.
- Download zip file of your theme’s most recent version.
- Log in to WordPress as and Admin and go to Appearance > Themes.
- Click on the ADD NEW button.
- Click on the UPLOAD THEME button.
- Click BROWSE and choose your zip file you downloaded.
- Click the INSTALL NOW button.
If it fails for some reason, you can do manual updating via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/#update-via-ftp (I would suggest via cPanel since FTP is slow)

The link to categories is accessed by seperate buttons from android app. The url looks like
domain.com//product-category/specialcakes/
but the page then loads have a huge tittle. I want t change its font.For the android app, i am using the default theme to redue loading time.

yes – that is standard behavior on enfold – because a lot of mobile users know that a double tap on top of the browser window has the same effect.

Thank you for the inquiry.
We can use the avf_default_icons and the avf_social_icons_options filters in order to add a new icon in the existing list, but you may need to upload your own spotify icon if the icon is not available in fontello. For more info, please check the following documentation.

IsmaelHi Kriesi – I can’t find the option to remove the Buttons on the Enfold one Pager demo Startpage: Remove Buttons “Learn more” and “Get in touch”.
Using the Avia Layout Builder, this Buttons are not there… in the Enfold settings, I found nothing about this two buttons.

Hi Jooster,
You don’t need to manually copy, first use your child theme, go to Enfold Child > Import/Export > click Export Theme Settings File button.
Switch to the parent theme, go to Enfold > Import/Export > click Upload Theme Settings File button and import the exported file.

NikkoHi, I can’t edit Enfold Theme Options for example logo. The Upload button doesn’t react. When I paste URL in the field. The “Save all changes” is still grey. Reset all options does nothing as well. I checked the upload folder access rights. it has 755.

Wordpress 5.5 has made a major change which includes the removal of jQuery migrate plugin which is used by many plugins and themes, including the Enfold theme, with this plugin jQuery migrate is plugged in back to the site and most likely would fix that issue. This incompatibility issue was fixed beginning with Enfold 4.7.6.2 so we suggest to update to the latest version of Enfold so you can deactivate and remove this plugin unless some plugins haven’t updated yet for WP 5.5.
If installing the plugin didn’t help, you can use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/ and do the following steps (it also works for plugins):- Make sure this plugin is installed and activated.

I want to use this theme for my book review / sale.
I also want to publish short presentation videos.

The workaround that I could think of right now is using a button and make it visually look like your current iconbox.
Please try to do the following steps:
– Use a button, add a label, link and the icon you used.
– In Styling (tab), set Button Position to Align Left
– Change Button Color to Custom Color
– Set Custom Font Color to a black color (or anything)
– In Advanced (tab) > Developer Settings > Custom CSS Class, put my-iconbox and save
– Go to Enfold > General Styling > Quick CSS, then add this CSS Code:.my-iconbox a.avia-button { background-color: transparent !important; }Let us know if this helps.

I believe that Nikko’s approach is the best method for someone with reduced visual acuity. Everything is enlarged, so that the fonts etc. are also easier to read.
But if you like to enlarge only those alb sings you can input some css to the admin area by child-theme functions.php

it enlarges the Enfold Options Screen in its width.
The Quick css Input field is set to 98% width of that container.
it highlighted the “toggle headings” but make them smallerThe shortcode_insert_button are now unfortunately only available in 40×40 resolution, which makes them blurred by enlarging them.

I have read about multiple users complaining of the enfold menu not showing once wordpress has been update to version 5.5
I have been unable to downgrade to version 5.4.2 on godaddy. Is there an alternative solution?

Sorry for the delayed response. This CDs works, but only limited, if I trun the mobile to left to bright view the buttons still don’t strech, see attached screeny pictures, I would be awesome if you could adjust the css for the whole page, not only for a specific site, thank you very much.

Hey Maik,
You would have to add those elements into the right 1/2 element, but you would have to do it manually since nesting layout elements is not supported by the layout builder. You can do it, but you would need to enable debug mode: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#debug-mode, then copy the shortcodes into the 1/2 element. Another options would be to add the text and the button manually, then styling them with CSS.
