Yes, I’ve been testing this all morning. IE’s debugger was the most helpful (I know, right?), and pointed out the problem. Here’s the Error:

I bolded the problem (I don’t know how to fix it though since the problem is a folder path is the root folder for my entire site). I guess /u is unicode and expects a hexidecimal digit afterwards (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ie/13ht9e2w(v=vs.94).aspx). If the /u is to be interpreted literally, there needs to be a //u. Any ideas how to fix this?

If you are using a child theme you can keep it in the child theme functions file and remove when needed manually.

With Enfold 3.0, there’s a new Demo Import button that imports various pre-designed templated.
Personally I think this is awesome, but I also foresee my clients clicking on this button and messing stuff up. Is there anyway to hide this in the backend (E.g. through the functions file? For everyone except super admins?)

Topic: HTTP Post
Heya,
Great wizards of Enfold,
I have a small issue that I could use some help with. I need to do a server to server HTTP Post to an API with a curl PHP script. I already have the script. I am trying to figure out how to implement it.
It basically post a request to an API which sends back a 200 response with an URL in the header.
I am trying to find out how to call the script. I need to use the URL I get in the response as a button target. I guess that, since it’s php, everything will be executed on page load.
I would appreciate any help on this. I have a plugin that allows me to run php on wordpress pages. I can also upload the file and call it . I just don’t know the syntax or where to place the file.

I have downloaded the Enfold version 3 and activated this on my websites and used Ismael code and hey presto the white box has gone which is excellentthank you all for your help with this.
Sadly the broken themes error message has not gone away though

themes Stylesheet is missingThe other thing I have now noticed on the website http://www.staffordrc.org that is happening again is the Theme options button along the top and all of its drop down do not work and the quick edit button on the top menu which allows you to edit the page you are looking at when selected the page open in the dashboard view but the icon just spins and does not stop to allow you to edit the content.
This was the original problem I experienced after upgrading to word press 4

I need help adding another social button at in the header line of a page with enfold theme.
It didn’t give me a ‘xing’ icon in the backend. Is there any chance I can add it myself or would I have to wait for another release of the theme?
Thanks for any help on this!I would like to have the slider on my home page use the width of the content area, but it is not displaying the proper width. I have chosen easy slider, but I would also like to use a slider that I can add a button that looks like the enfold buttons.
The actual image is approximately 1030 wide x 380 tall.

You can click on “Dismiss notice” button. This plugins are not needed for Enfold they are just recommendations from WooCommerce plugin

When I add the WooCommerce Cart widget to my sidebars, the size of the View Cart and Checkout Buttons is uneven and does not fit within the width of the sidebar and ends up looking messy.Could you tell me if there is a fix for this issue?

the Problem is the tho Mobile Menü Buttons are not in the same Position.
If you Click on the Mobile Menu Button the appearing Close Button isn’t in the same Position.Also in your Template:

I am trying to add Facebook follow button on my website.
So, I went on this here and got the code. But I don’t know where to install the code in appearance –> editor section.
Then when I go to enfold layout builder, I don’t know if I should just insert code block.
Could you explain me the steps please?

Did you modify the button shortcode on the child theme? There’s something wrong with the button markup. Lots of unwanted single quotation marks are present. Can you please provide a screenshot on how the button looks like prior to the issue? Enfold 3.0 may be release in a few hours. Please download the latest version then update the theme via FTP.

I am having problems with Enfold theme after updating to WordPress 4.0.
I disabled all plugins and the problem persisted.
I switched to Twenty Fourteen theme and the problem was not there.Here are the main symptoms that I have noticed while trying to add a new post or edit an exiting post:
Cannot edit the permalink.
“Add/edit link” button doesn’t work.
Cannot schedule the post for a later date with the “Publish immediately” section.
Wordpress SEO by Yoast window shows nothing.My web host helped me find the workaround to activate the Twenty Fourteen theme, add a post, then activate the Enfold theme. This is not good for several reasons, including:
It is very inefficient to switch back and forth between themes.
I have to switch from Twenty Fourteen to Enfold to preview the page, then switch back to make edits, then switch back to Enfold, and so on and so forth…
Persons visiting the site will have a poor experience while I’m on the Twenty Fourteen theme.Please help.

Hey Guys! We have just uploaded Enfold Version 3.0 and it should be available for download within the next few hours.
In order to enable all the new flexibility in the theme we had to change a lot of files. Here are a few simple instructions if you are running into problems after the update:- Please make sure that you are also running the latest version of WordPress (4.0)
- Check if all your plugins are up to date, especially if you are using some that we recommend (woocommerce, bbpress, WPML)
- Clear your browser cache by holding the shift button and pressing the browser refresh icon. this might be necessary for both frontend and admin area
- Re-Save the options in your backend at Enfold. This will regenerate the dynamic theme stylesheet and add all the latest colors and dimensions
- Clear any other cached files generated by WordPress plugins like WP-Supercache, WP-totalcache, Better-wp-minify, etc
- If you are using a child theme and are using older base template files please check the latest version and see if you need to update any child theme files as well
If none of this helps feel free to open up a new thread with your issues. Don’t forget to include a link to your site as well as the login credentials attached as private data so we can access your backend if necessary :)

In Chrome I get “This webpage is not available” and The connection to myweburl.com was interrupted Error code: ERR_CONNECTION_RESET. When I take the button off the page and save it works again. I have tried creating a new page with just a button and same thing happens. Also tried deactivating all plugins and that had not effect. Not sure what else to do? I reinstalled an old backup on another server with WordPress 3.9 / Enfold 2.7.1 and everything works fine.
Not sure if it is a setting, bug, or something else. Please help.

I am setting up website with Enfold with BuddyPress for victims (crime, abuse and rape etc.)
They have an account for people that want to be anonymously and they want to have a “magic” button that logs in a user so they can post using this account?Best case: lets say a visitor is on this url: http://www.offerforum.dk/groups/vold/ and can click the magic button and end up on same page but now logged in and ready to post

A charity website is having issues with their donate buttons (they are with a third party donations company called Chimp that provides a donation system) When you click on their donate button off the site, the pop up appears below the header, footer and all the page’s contents, like the copy and photos. I have no idea to fix this. The donate button works just fine in other wordpress themes I’ve implemented on. I set up a test page to show you what I mean:http://www.obkchildren.org/donate-test/

I set up WP, installed Enfold Theme & imported the .xml file from the original developer.
Website front end working however 99% of the time I can’t edit content, content won’t load in Advanced Layout Editor & no buttons are clickable, including Layout, Content or Media Elements.The 1% of the time the Layout Element contents loads, and you click on a Content Element like ‘Text Block’ the text is not visible in ‘Visual’ – it can only be seen as code in ‘Text” area.
Also their is no WYSYWIG tool bar in Text Box only Ad Media, Visual, Text & Save tabs.In reply to: How to control captions in fullscreen slider
