I have recently updated to the latest version of WordPress and updated the Enfold theme and all plugins. My social icons now appear as boxes with no picture on my homepage on Chrome, IE, and Firefox. In addition, the “Like us on Facebook” button on my Contact page also shows a square instead of a Facebook “f”. The Layer Slider on the homepage is also displaying with squares instead of arrows left and right. I have seen at least one thread that shows this there is a social icon display issue related to the ad blocker in Chrome. That seems troubling since most users will be running ad blocker. Everything displays properly on Safari.
I appreciate any help you might provide!

I used the advanced Layout editor. I think the problem is the woocommerce product slider.
How can I fix that?

Wow, I am so happy with Enfold`s new features, that I decided to gradually redesign our site. But it is not only that enfold has become even more feature rich, the Demos are a great inspiration, dealing with some struggles i recently had to present some of our content.

As you can see, I really used the new grid row and fullwidth button a lot.

I been having an issue with social share icons and the enfold theme. I can’t seem to find a plug-in that has a short code which I can insert into a area of the Avia Layout Builder. The only plug-in that I can kinda get to work is the Share Buttons by AddToAny (https://wordpress.org/plugins/add-to-any/) When I insert it the background has 3 gray bars in the background that I can’t figure out to get rid of…
Can you help with this?
Iv’e tried to use the buttons with that come the theme (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/add-social-share-icons-to-individual-product-pages/ ) but they are not moveable from what I understand and are stuck at the bottom of the page.
If you cannot help with those gray bars can you recommend a plug-in that will work with the layout builder?

Hi, again,
We are using Enfold on another new site we’re building, and we can’t get it to update. We entered our API key and Envato username and got the update button. However, when we click the button, it just takes us back up to the top of the page. No update takes place.
Any ideas?

The socket is larger because there’s a google ad iframe added to it. As far as I am concerned, I never corrected any code. just made an initial check.
Did the Social buttons disappear after an update to the theme?
I have the impression that you added code to the footer.php file in your theme directory.
Theme Updates will overwrite changes made to the files. You are advised to use a child theme for updates.

ArvishUnfortunately the !important trick does not help perfectly, I tried it before. The button size and the text aligning is still not correct after doing so.
But honestly speaking I do not understand your answer because if I change e.g. the “Border colors” under Enfold Theme Options -> General Styling, then the button style changes too.

The theme doesn’t override any of the button’s styling. Revo slider itself change the button styling. As you can see in this code, there are inline styling that overrides .buttontest styling. Try adding !important value on the button’s css properties.

Sometimes, Advanced Layout Editor won’t load fully
Sometimes the editor opens, but the content section under the different layout options keeps loading and loading until infinity. This situation sometimes gets fixed by choosing another tab in the editor and hitting enter in the address bar, making it redload the page.Most of the time, Advanced Layout Editor won’t load at all
This is the situation I’m in currently. I can’t get it to load at all. Clicking on the button “Advanced Layout Editor”, shifts the page down a little, but nothing else happens.Shortcodes menu opens but doesn’t work
But in the window that opens, where I can enter content to a Toggle Accordion, for example, clicking on each element to edit text, doesn’t do anything. I can drag & drop the order, I can use the dropdowns that say “Align icons left or right”, but the Save or editing don’t work.This affects other Wordpres buttons, too, like the Add Media button. It only adds # to the address bar. But doesn’t load.
What I’ve tried already:
- WordPress is up to date, WordPress 4.0, was installed with a 1-click install
- Enfold is up to date
- I’ve emptied and re-emptied my caches, and even rebooted my computer a few times, and ran CleanMyMac
- I’ve tried with Chrome Version 38.0.2125.101 and also Firefox, Safari (both in newest versions)
- I’ve installed updates to OSX Mavericks
- I’ve tried this on another computer with older versions of OSX and web browsers
- I’ve asked the support from the web host, they did something to help increase WordPress processing speed
- I’ve tried fiddling with the address of the page, taking the # or “avia” or “editor” to somehow force it to load the editor differently
It just does not work at all now.
Before, it was spotty, most pages would take 4-5 tries to get it to load up the editor.
Now it won’t do it at all. None of the buttons respond to clicking on them, nor does it even load or spin after clicking on it.I have some addons in my Chrome, but since the problem persists in all browser, don’t think that’s the issue.
Only other apps I’ve got running are Creative Cloud, Arq (backup software), Dropbox, Hangouts, and while not an app, I do have a Wacom tablet driver also running. But that’s it. And the browser.This is for a client. Their old site is at the root.
This is the new site I’m working on: climateearth.com/home/For the life of me I cannot figure out how to get LayerSlider to open embedded video (using an iframe) to show up in a popover.
This use to work perfectly with the old version of LayerSlider but since it’s been updated it just keeps opening the videos in the main window.
What I’m doing is choosing ‘Image’ as the layer type then specifying the image of a PLAY button.
I then switch over to the ‘Link’ tab and enter in the embed popover URL into the field and set it to ‘Open on same page’.

Additionally if I used a fancybox plugin, I would add the class ‘fancybox-iframe’ into the ‘Attributes’ tab.In the old version of the Enfold theme with LayerSlider, it could detect the source of the video (Youtube etc) and allow it to load as a popover video.
I’m currently using a video from Wistia. I’ve tried a Youtube hosted video but it too doesn’t open in a popover now either.
The only way that I could get it to work is choosing the ‘HTML / Video / Audio’ layer type and entering in the following html code:<a href="//fast.wistia.net/embed/iframe/k15tf84uzl?popover=true"><img src="https://embed-ssl.wistia.com/deliveries/07b5e1d983243191d31e6f4f47ca8dfa7fcdb75d.jpg?image_play_button=true&image_play_button_color=0212e3e0&image_crop_resized=150x84" alt="" /></a> <script charset="ISO-8859-1" src="//fast.wistia.com/assets/external/popover-v1.js"</ script>But I don’t like having to do this because the thumbnail/preview image does not actually resize itself when you alter the window size of the browser, so everything around it is reduced except for the video play button.

One of the attractions for me to Enfold was the ability to do use buttons that included numbers of posts and linked to categories like http://kriesi.at/theme-overview. I assume that this is a portfolio but despite searching documentation and forums I cannot find any help to show me how this is done. Can someone point me in the right direction or tell me how this effect can be achieved?

With upgradee Enfold 3.0 I seem to have lost the letter-spacing in the button font. It s still there in all headings but not in the buttons anymore.

I had been using Fotomoto until I switched to Enfold. I contacted Fotomoto to see how to integrate so their “buy” button shows under an image when expanded. They suggested I contact the developer of the theme with this link on how it needs to be integrated by the developer.
Is this something that you can consider doing? Thank you.

:-)The Issue:
Using the Enfold theme, I have an IFrame positioned about halfway down my sales page which I have inserted via the Code Block Content Element. When I load the page on my mobile device, Enfold automatically scrolls down to the location of the IFrame. I have confirmed that the IFrame is the cause by eliminating the IFrame from the page and reloading. When I do this, the page loads as expected with the headline at the top.
What I’ve done:
Aside from removing the IFrame to determine that it was the cause, I’ve checked the source code of the IFrame itself to see if there was anything that might be triggering the behavior. Nothing was immediately apparent but something is causing Enfold to behave in this way.
What I need:
I need the sales page to load as normal, with the headline at the top. I don’t want the page to auto scroll to the location of the IFrame.

Revolution Slider: v4.6.0As the subjects says, the settings done under Enfold Theme Options -> General Styling override a CSS e.g. for a button (e.g. border color) created in Revolution Slider. I do not know if this is the theme’s or plugin’s fault, I just know that the button is correctly shown in RevSlider’s preview, but it’s not correct after the page has been generated by WordPress.

Hi, i have this problems:
1. On tablets the menu is not acting responsive so menu buttons come on second line when they dont fit on the screen, see picture 1
2. On movile the flags for translation are colapsing with the extra text on the Header, see picture 2
3. Small arrow on color section is showing duplicate see picture 3
4. I added google font to my site adding on the function.php a code i copied from the snippet section (http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/register-additional-google-fonts-for-theme-options/) i makes the job but it gives a wrong response on the webtest, can you check if i did it right or i should do it other way? see picture 4

I’m having a strange issue on the blog page. When clicking the link to the last blog post it directs me to the homepage of the website.
Editting it in the backend and clicking the preview button generates a 404 page not found error. The 1st blog post is working fine.What I tried:
– Saved permalinks, changed it to default and changed it back to postname, didn’t help.
– Deactivated all plugins, didn’t help.
– Changed back to default WP theme, this solved the problem. (so it’s something in Enfold)Running WP4.0 and Enfold version 3.01

Hi Guys,
I’m having a issue with mega menu failing when I add new pages to my website. I have a suspicion that there might be a limit associated with the amount of buttons in the menu and causing it to fail when listed.
Dummy site. Mega menu failed. Just add 3 buttons to the menu and it does this. Also does this when I had one page.
