Hi there! Slowly but steadily I’m heading towards an AWESOME website, thanks to you guys! It’s Enfold from now on…. :)
Some small questions that I can’t figure out:
1) on long pages, for example the portfolio page, a ‘scroll to top’ button appears. Which is fabulous of course. But it shows as an empty box. Only when I hover over the box, I can see it’s a scroll to top button. I guess there should be an arrow in it? How can I make that appear?
2) I have a similar problem on the mobile phone. There is a menu button in the upper right corner, but it’s an empty (and hardly visible) box. I think there’s supposed to be three horizontal stripes in there?
3) If I click on an image from my portfolio to enlarge it, one or two small black boxes with a white cross in it appears, either above or below the large picture. Why? How do I make that go away?Thank you again for your valuable help! :) Kind regards, Eline

return title;And change it to this,

I added just a simple column from the layout builder. Before I did that, the post looked like a blog post with the “You may also like” and the Enfold social media buttons on the bottom. As soon as I added the column, those above mentioned items did not display.

Which specific strings are not being translated? Please give us a link to the actual page. When using the codestyling localization plugin, make sure that you rescan the strings of the theme or plugin language. Edit the strings then do not forget to click the generate mo-file button.

Hey!
From what I have checked, the only part that creates and actual issue is the Search Box.
It has a search button with an id of “searchsubmit”.
The remainder of the CSS integrates pretty well with Enfold. A few minor tweeks are required perhaps.
I believe that for complete integration, occurances of “searchsubmit” should be replaced with something else across all files in the plugin.

Enfold styles the WooCommerce shop elements a certain way – plain, and I like it. I’ve purchased a ‘request for quote’ plugin that defaults back to the standard WooCommerce look/feel. Now, part of my shop looks like Enfold, and part looks like Woo. Brightly colored buttons, and overly rounded tabs and lots of misshaped boxes and lines.Where does one find your definitions for the product description tabs, and buttons and quantity boxes so I can dig around and hopefully find the same definitions on the new plugin and try to make them the same without all the bugs?

I used WordPress’ Modal Dialog plugin to put Enfold’s contact form in a pop-up (using shortcodes).
When the user push the “submit” button, he is redirected towards another page (for Google conversion tracking). However, I receive the same email twice for a single submission. (The other contact forms on my website that do not use pop-ups work correctly.)By the same token, do you have any idea on how to restore the red (or green) border when a field fails to pass the validity check? The pop-up seem to prevent that too.

@etnMathy. The languages are saved on wp-content > themes > enfold > lang folder. Before updating, create a backup of the language files (.mo and .po). After the update, override the default lang folder.@marcellametae: What do you mean it doesn’t load automatically?
@adagietto: Please use the codestyling localization plugin. Go to Tools > Localization. Look for the Enfold theme, add or select the language files that you want to translate then click Rescan. When finished, click Edit then look for the strings that you want to translate. Don’t forget to click the generate mo file button.Cheers!

I entered longitude and latitude after click “Enter address, then fetch coordinates” and click save button, but map isn’t shown on the page.
It is blank at googlemap area. I can see only the location pin.

I updated from version 2.72 version 3.02,- Now an error message shows up on all pages (see below) except the home page,
- The advanced layout editor is still broken.
Fatal error:</strong> Call to undefined function kriesi_backlink() in /home/konak1/public_html/pancho/wp-content/themes/enfold/footer.php on line 82This is a very straightforward and simple installation of enfold, only 2 plug-ins and no customization outside of the enfold admin area.Child theme is not in use.
Here is the update procedure I used
- Create a test copy of site installation
- download v3.02 WordPress only zip file from Envato
- unzip contents
- turn off all plug-ins and set WordPress theme to default
- upload entire new version 3.02, overlaying existing files and folders to destination folder via FTP
- reactivate plugins
- activate theme
The second problem of the Advanced Layout Editor (ALE) not working started when I updated WordPress to version 4.0.
I did not notice that Enfold 2.7 and WordPress 4.0 were not compatible until later.
The incompatibility is that the ALE will not load (spinning load icon) and if the page is in Default mode, none of the buttons or hyperlinks work (Screen options & Add media button for example)Here is the live site: http://PanchosLeftys.com enfold 2.7 WP.4.0

I am using Enfold for http://moldova.adventist.ro/ and I have a problem also with responsive layerslide. In desktop version the slideshow is working fine, but below 800px resolution, the slideshow is displaying a shrinked image – not all the surface of the slideshow. This makes not all the buttons to be visible.
If you can check and see what is causing this, many thanks.

1. Header doesn’t shrink because of this code you have in Quick CSS:
#header_main .container, .main_menu ul:first-child > li a{ height:90px !important; line-height: 80px !important; }2. You can set a transparent header when editing the Page in question, (Layout options).
3. If you are referring to this, yes that’s a Text Widget (Title + (paragraph + image) + Enfold button shortcode).

I need some help with styling of input fields for a plugin called SUMO rewards. This should be simple, but I just dont seem to be able to get it right.
I would like the input fields to look like the Enfold theme. Needs some styling tweaks to make similar size and inline.

Hi there, Enfold-wizards! I’m so excited how my new, and hugely improved, website is taking shape! Thank you for this amazing theme!
I’m now working on the webshop-part, and I’m running into some issues. I did a lot of searching and trying, but I can’t seem to figure it out. I did however screw up the entire site by messing up the functions.php, but I solved that one fortunately. My hands will go nowhere near any php files from now on, unless you guys tell me to. :)
Anyway, my questions:
* can I change the in stock/out of stock texts at the products page?
* If I make a purchase, but then delete it again from the shopping cart en press return to shop, the whole layout of the shop is messed up. It should be masonry, but it’s not anymore. The pictures are huge, and the whole thing is all over the place. I’m not set on the masonry layout by the way. If something else is better, that’s fine by me. I think the masonry thing was in the demo I imported.
* I would like to show sold out buttons at the shop overview page as well as the product pages. To do so, I installed the woocommerce sold out widget, and dragged it to both places. But it’s not doing anything, and I don’t know what I am doing wrong…
* how can I change the colours of the woocommerce notifications (the messages that appear on the top of the page when you buy something, or change your cart)?Thank you for helping me! Kind regards, Eline

I have been using Enfold and I have installed Gravity Forms with the PayPal add on. It has been working fine for a while but I have recently noticed that when a form is completed and the submit button is pressed, the loading symbol in the browser tab starts circulating then suddenly stops – there is then a delay before you are re-directed to the PayPal checkout page.
I have activated the Twenty Twelve theme and it works fine on there – so Enfold appears to conflict with Gravity Forms in some way.
I would very much appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue.

1- You should add Color Section element to your page, edit it and choose the arrow under Section bottom border styling

Hey nectarestudio!
We recommend to use the Codestyling plugin or Poedit to translate the mo/po language files of the theme. Install the plugin ( http://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/ ), go to Tools > Localization and select “Themes”. Then search for “Enfold” from the list and select your language and click on “Rescan” to search for all text strings. Afterwards click on “Edit” and translate the required strings from the “avia_framework” textdomain. At least click the “create mo file” button next to the “Textdomain” selection dropdown (top left corner).

Three quick questions
I’ve set up a Child theme with Enfold 3. I haven’t selected a predefined colour scheme as my client’s hexi colours don’t match any. However, is there a way to choose a colour scheme, say ‘Navy’ and then change the hexi colour associated to that scheme. This would save me having to use custom colours every time I create a button.
I’ve done something to my mobile menu. When you click on a sub menu the background-color and color must be the same as you can’t read what section you are in. Any quick css fix for this?
Search dropdown on desktop. The rollover makes the background a light color. Again how do I change this or change the font colour to make it legible. NB I’m using Relevanssi

Enfold: 3.0.2 (running child theme)After updating both WordPress and Enfold, we’ve noticed the following bugs occurring:
1) Updates to an existing page built with Advanced Editor are often not saved and can result in content disappearing from the page. I was able to consistently reproduce this by replacing/adding images on select existing pages of ours. If the images are separated from other content with a color section though, this appears to be okay..or at least not as bad.

Note: I’ve noticed this happening with existing pages… I have not tested by building a brand new page yet.

Its as if the symbol closed an incomplete tag that came before it. This never used to happen before.
In all three of these instances, it appears tags are either not being properly closed or closing other existing tags inadvertently. Looking into this further, specifically #1 that I mentioned, I discovered that images added via Advanced Layout now come with a separate closing tag [/av_image] which was never there before. Aside from rebuilding countless pages of content, is there any solution or update that is coming that would resolve this sort of thing?
Hope this info is descriptive enough. Please let me know if I can provide any additional info.

(WP4, Enfold 3.0.2. PHP 5.4.)
My own created Sliders doesnt work at the backend, on the Website it works. I have no saving button and cant click the slides on the slider, cant edit the slider. All plugins deactivated.
Add a new Slide works, 2 or 3 times saving it works, than the same as above.This is very annoying if you have lots of time stuck in a Slider.
Is there a solution?
