Hi,
I just build a site with WPML and noticed that when I want to add a PAGE link in the AVE it only shows the default language (UK) and I am editing from a Danish page and the DK pages should show? – I did a manual link to move on… But just to let you know!Topic: Adding text to the header
Hello.
I’m looking to add some simple text to the header of my Enfold enabled (client) website.
Ideally it would be a line under the social buttons.
I did try adding a widget to the header like in the latest code snipet tutorial – thank you for that but it isn’t working for me for two reasons:
It adds the widget after the main menu and I would like it at the top right corner, above the menu,
(ava_after_main_menu)
It adds a lot of line breaks and the number “1”Any ideas on fixing this or work arounds?

Ok, let’s try another method:
1. Install and activate this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/
2. Go to Tools > Localisation > Theme > Enfold and click “Modify” to edit the German translation

i mean the width picture in the top over the whole page width.

We have buttons for that at the bottom of each post, http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/2014/04/28/new-electric-cars-are-getting-really-fast/, called the “Share this entry” section.
Are you trying to get share buttons like that to display in the header or footer?

WP 4.1Upon loading the LayerSlider pane:
1. I select ‘homepage slider’.
2. I select the green + icon to add another slide.
3. I click the ‘click to set’ button to add a background image and instead of the lightbox media library it loads beneath in the same window and I can’t access it.Any idea what is going on here it’s driving me nuts!

Hello, I have the latest updates of Enfold and WordPress and all plugins are deactivated, but the Advanced layer editor button in Add Pages section doesn’t work, nothing happens when it’s pressed. I need to make a image gallery.

I am trying to use NextGen Image Gallery to organize my images in a site built with enfold. These images should be used in catalogue shortcodes, but I can’t use them because the button in the catalogue element editor for “Change Images” opens a Change Image window with no sidebars and I can’t access the NextGen Image Gallery functionalities.
I need this button to open the same window as the “Add Media” button in the HTML editor. Is this possible? How can I do that?

Topic: mobile menu
When I browse the site on iPhone (this page, for example http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-photography/), there is mobile menu in the upper right corner, if you scroll there or zoom out. It’s not hidden until you press mobile menu button, it’s there. The deal is – when you scroll down and occasionally do it not vertically, but a bit diagonally, it shows the space off the main content, and that’s no good.
It didn’t take place until a few recent updates. Please fix this.

Yes we are aware of the button but we were looking for a little more reassurance and the steps we should take. Regarding having the latest version of Enfold – we don’t have it that’s why we want to set up a child theme!

Josuehi, I’ve updated to the latest enfold template plus the latest version of wordpress and am finding my exisiting buttons are no longer displaying or linking correctly. I’ve tried dragging in a new button and resetting it but it’s still not showing up completely.
the website is at http://www.cerpro.com.au/asa-technology/ – scroll down to under the image… one button says ‘click’ and the other says ‘take’ and both of them should be red and with a much longer title…

Hello guys,
Firstly, fantastic theme! Really the best I’ve used and I’m petty happy with the ease of use and quality so far. I’m using it to build a site for a client and there are a few issues/queries I have. I thought I’d note them all in one place to save multiple posts, hope that is ok. I’m on WP 4.1 and Enfold 3.0.5.
1. Google map is not showing for me – just the markers and controls – this is the same on FF, Chrome and Safari.
2. I’m having trouble adding items to the Google Map. The Longitude and Latitude co-ords box doesn’t appear when adding a dummy address and clicking the button. Many of my locations have no address so it would be really helpful this box can be forced to appear by default, is this possible?
3. Is it possible to change the colours and styling of the little ‘back to top’ button?
4. A query here – can the ‘image overlay with arrow’ rollover for Portfolio items be duplicated for use on blog post and gallery image rollovers too, instead of the ‘image zoom’ effect?
5. Another query – can the titles of image/gallery/portfolio items appear on top of the image, just as plain text, rather than in a white box underneath with the little pointer?

For some reason updating through enfold console is reporting still needs updating even though I just have.. I update with button and it runs through the update process and reports all successful but when returning to console its continues to report this,

The problem is solved on regular buttons located in the pages, like the contact us button on the following pages:

But, as you can see on our site we have a custom Contact us floating button that we added.
On the previous Enfold version adding ?iframe=true worked fin and the form was opened in a light box, but now, in the new version 3.0.4 the light box is not working on this button, the class lightbox-added is not added to the a href.
mfp-iframe class is added but lightbox-added is missing. (I compared with the html created from the pages listed above)
Any idea why? any idea how to solve this?Thanks

I like the Enfold style of the share buttons under every blog post, however we would like to use different networks as well as social media icons.
I have figured it out how to add ne social media icons, however I can’t seem to figure out a way to change for example Facebook to Weibo.Thanks a lot
For those of you who are fans of the Avia Layout Builder, instead of using the magic wand for advanced elements in default posts….
As of now, some of you probably know, that in order to to edit posts with Avia Layout Builder you have to follow the instructions found here, to enable that feature:
http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/use-the-layout-builder-with-any-post-type/The problem I’ve found with using the above method, is it messes up comments and other blog elements… Here is the easiest work-around to that breakage.
Go to the post you want to edit which was built in the Avia Layout Builder
Delete all elements
Click on Default Editor
Click Update
Click on Revisions (under Publish)
Go to Revise and revise the version prior to the last one you saved.
If done properly, it throws your Avia Layout Builder into the default editor perfectly.
Click UpdateNow you should be able to see comments and all post elements as intended.
So… not sure if there is an easier way to do this… but here is something I stumbled onto which has helped me a great deal. Would be really spiffy to get a button added, which automated exporting from Avia Advanced Builder to Default Builder quickly… for people like me. :-)

I’m having this problem. I migrated a site to the new theme Enfold. I had to put this css rule to prevent on iPad in lanscape mode the menu text overlaps on the logo. ..@media only screen and (max-width: 1283px) { nav.main_menu { display: none !important; } #advanced_menu_toggle { display: block !important; } }This way in lansdacape mode the main navigation menu is grouped into the sandwich button like on iPhone. The problem is that on the iPad mode landascape menu even when clicked doesn’t open. It only opens when I turn it again in vertical format. How can I fix?

YigitI recently inherited a client and website. He was using an old version of WordPress and version 2.4.4 of the theme. When I moved the website to a different host I installed the latest WordPress (4.1) and imported his website in with BackWPup plugin. Everything has been fine except the “Add Media” button. It does not nothing when clicked, I read online and found that updating the theme would be the likely fix.
I downloaded the latest version of the theme 3.0.8 and uploaded it to the website, now I found I have two Enfold themes listed in the Theme section rather than a single updated Enfold. I looked at the server and found in the wp-content/themes folder the previous web-creator must have renamed the original enfold theme folder to testermanmasonry, so now I have an “enfold” and “testermanmasonry” in the themes folder.
What is the best way to go about merging files to the new enfold theme? As in which files would have data particular to the content of the website that could be moved over? Or would it be easier to remove the new theme, rename “testermanmasonry” theme folder to “enfold” and try uploading the theme again?

BTW, last week I received a notice from ThemeForest about the new version and when I clicked the “update” button, it simply took me to the main ThemeForest page. So, I do need some guidance here.

That’s not as easy as it sounds. Try adding this to the bottom of your functions.php file.

I have some new pages drafted that use the Theme’s buttons and I am trying to integrate them.
I was told by the support department of my ticket integration vendor EZtix that they are unable to add the javascript code to the pre-made buttons.Is this functionality there? It looks as though I can only add a custom http address (which is not useful in this case.)
