Hey!

clicking “Edit Page” in the admin top bar for example – which takes you to the Guttenberg editor.

That is the whole point of the code above. As we’ve said, the plugin alters the default post editor links, making “Gutenberg” as the default editor, so clicking on the “Edit” panel or the post/page title will redirect you to the new editor instead of opening the advance layout builder, contrary to what you would expect when using the Enfold theme. The above filter reverts the links back to default so that the “Edit” and the post/page title open the classic editor and then creates a new “Gutenberg Editor” button so that you can still choose the new editor when necessary.

hast du eventuell das Color Scheme im General Styling geändert?
Das hat einfluss auf alle Farbeinstellungen. Gehe mal zu Main Content Reiter dieses Enfold Dialoges.
z.B. beinflusst die Farbe : Primary color – Font color for links, dropcaps and other elements die Schriftfarbe von links.
Rechts daneben ist die Hover Farbe festgelegt: Highlight color – Secondary color for link and button hover, etc

Da sind jetzt mal die Grundeinstllungen.
Wenn du zB eine Demo importiert hast könnten auch noch Einstellungen im Advanced Styling sein

Da ich weiß, dass hier auch Deutsch gesprochen wird spar ich mir das Englische.

Während der Gestaltung der Texte ist ein Problem entstanden: Wörter die mit dem <strong> Code versehen sind, sowie Buttons im allgemeinen, werden bei mir komplett in weiß (#fff) dargestellt. Ich hab es versucht via den Styling Optionen im Enfold Menü zu ändern aber dadurch ändert sich nichts. Auch im CSS habe ich nichts relevantes bzw darauf bezogenes.

Mit dem Untersuchen-Tool von Chrome habe ich zwar herausgefunden, dass in der CSS der <strong>-Befehl die Schriftfarbe #fff; besitzt, jedoch habe ich das nie eingestellt was mich sehr stark verwundert. Bevor ich das daher wieder per CSS änder, würde ich erst rausfinden ob es sich auf natürlicherweise entfernen lässt.
Die Buttons dagegen haben keinen CSS Eintrag (bzw. es findet sich ein passendes Befehl, wenn ich die jedoch rausnehme, verändert sich nichts. Von daher weiß ich nicht ob es sich darauf bezieht.)

EDIT: In der CSS sind alle Werte von der .main_color Klasse auf color: #fff; gestellt. Wo kann ich das denn auf natürliche weiße ändern?

Das komische an all dem ist, dass ich dies nie eingestellt habe. Weder im Enfold-Menü, noch im CSS. Als ich heute vor 3 Std. anfing war alles auch noch völlig normal…
Ich habe heute nur auf einer einzelnen Seite mit dem Avia Layout Architekt gearbeitet und lediglich Texte auf dieser Seite lokal formatiert.

Ich hoffe ihr könnt mir weiterhelfen. Besonders in den “Unsere Fahrzeuge”-Unterseite wäre dieser “Bug” fatal… Ich bitte Sie daher auch einmal die “Unsere Fahrzeuge” Unterseite, sowie die Übersichtseite eines x-beliebiges Fahrzeugs anzuschauen, damit sie wissen was ich meine. Einige <strong>-Texte müssten eigentlich in einem Rot-farbton dargestellt werden und einige in einem Anthrazit.

Hello, I am using the fitness trainer plugin with the enfold theme. I am unable to change my profile picture. I have reached out to the plugin author and they said it was a bug with enfold. so I am reaching out to you.

If you login and try to change your profile picture, you are unable to hit the button change.

Click Login from the navi bar, and use the admin/pw and you can see, i am unable to change the picture, when I switch themes, it works fine.

Topic: Button field in Fullwidth Easy Slider not displaying

I used Enfold on a website, and everything worked well in the development site. When we migrated the site to the live server, encountered a problem. Specifically:
– The homepage uses the Fullwidth Easy Slider with three slides
– The Buttons on all three sliders are not linking / pointing / directing to the destination URLs
– When we looked into it, and tried to edit the links, we realized that when we go to edit the Fullwidth Easy Slider > Slide > Edit Form Element > Button 1 Link? that this field, which is where we are supposed to enter the link, does not display (is not active). Consequently, we can’t edit the field and have the button properly linked. We have tried to figure out why this is, but can’t seem to figure out the reason.
Please advise.

1: I changed the color
2: I removed it
3: The text has been the same for every slide for me, hasn’t it been the same for you?
4: I enabled your custom css at: Enfold Theme Options > Layout Builder > Show element options for developers
so I could add the custom class “homepage_slider” to the draft slider then I changed the css to include the custom class, now it will work correctly for any page. Now after you check the draft slider one last time, you can use the “Save Entry as Template” button to save the entry, and add it to the homepage, and remove the other one.

I understand you would like to add your own icons for social profiles that do not exist such as in the instructions: How to add Custom Social Icons to Enfold options But you can only do that if you add icons from fontello.com You can not use images to do this.
This is why I suggest a technique to substitute the built-in icons for your images

So with Gutenberg being actively promoted with WP 4.9.8, albeit as a plugin, I think we can consider this to be in the wild now – clients are certainly going to start to try it.

Unfortunately, as I found out when I did so today, Enfold and the Gutenberg plugin do not play well together.

Guess I was expecting to see the Gutenberg UI with a nice big clear Advanced Layout Editor button to switch to the avia page builder instead but no – turns out that the enfold page builder is not an option at all with Gutenberg enabled so the theme is unusable with it.

I hope you are way ahead of the curve with this and are poised to release a Gutenberg compatible version but comments from moderators like this from June: We have been busy with bug fixes and new functionality for the theme, so we haven’t been able to test it yet unfortunately. I would assume that there will be some problems with it …” and the fact you are still referring customers to a statement from April are starting to worry me a bit.

So what exactly is the plan guys? We need to know. Thanks.

I want to add a close button to the mega menu to manually close the menu on touch devices. Unfortunately, I have a hard time closing the menu manually with jQuery code. For example, if I use jQuery('.menu-item-mega-parent').trigger('mouseleave');, the menu is closed but can no longer be opened by touching the menu button (.menu-item-mega-parent). I’ve tried other solutions (e.g. jQuery('.avia_mega_div').toggle()), but always faced the problem that the menu cannot be opened anymore.

The closed button is required as I need the mega menu to cover the full viewport. I am using Enfold 4.4.1 on WordPress 4.9.7.

Any help is really appreciated.

I’m attempting to add more content to the ‘Reviews’ page (Enfold 4.4.1/WordPress 4.9.7). After I click the ‘Update’ button, none of the data is updated.

I’ve already contacted hosting and they verified that the hosting resources are solid. There COULD be a possibility of a plugin conflict, but I was able to make changes to the site before without any issues.

Solution?

I would like help on adding a font resize to the header of the Enfold theme I am using at http://neighborsnetworkfl.org

I have seen lots of sites with a very simple one-click button that cycles through different text sizes so users can adjust the text size for their disability. I have found plugins and widgets that let you add this function to the page in the widget or sidebar areas, like I have done on the right footer of this website. But I would much prefer it be a permanent option maybe to the right of the magnifying glass search function on the navigation menu or even on the top bar. Whatever is easiest.

Would someone be able to help me? I even have one of the plugin’s codes that could be used, if needed. I just don’t know where to insert it to implement it properly.

I have checked your site in mobile and it seems that it’s looking fine and not like the one you posted in screenshot, is this already fixed?
I just noticed that after the fourth box/button the gap is different from 20px space to 50px, so in Enfold > General Styling > Quick CSS I added this css code:

and put it inside the media query:

If it’s still not fixed yet on your end, try to clear the browser cache or add this code inside the media query then clear the browser cache.
