  • Thank you so much, Victoria. That worked wonderfully.

    To be honest, I felt like my request was kind of a long shot. The Optin form isn’t even part of Enfold. I am very impressed.

    If it’s not too much trouble, could you show me how you figured out the code? It will help me troubleshoot on my own in the future. The two sets of code provided by you and Rikard are quite different. For instance, Rikard’s code had a period in front of everything and the “a” before the word hover. Yours had neither. When do I use the period versus the hashtag? Also, am I to assume that, should I add a second form, it would be #optinforms-form2-button:hover? I managed to figure out the avia button on my own, but this optin form was very tricky.

    .ace-button a:hover {
    background:red;
    color:white;
    }

    #optinforms-form1-button:hover {
    background-color: aqua !important;
    }

    Thank you

    Hi acelam714,

    Here is the code you can put in Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css to change the optin form button on hover,  if it does not work, put into themes/enfold/css/custom.css

    #optinforms-form1-button:hover {
        background-color: aqua !important;
    }

    If you need further assistance please let us know.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi Roger,

    Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:

    .home .avia-slideshow-button {
        padding: 10px 10px !important;
    }

    Adjust the values to your liking.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    In my test system I set up a number of pages each displaying one or more product categories using the Avia Layout Builder and the Plugin Addition – Product List. All the pages displayed a list of products with a small round thumbnail with the product details next to it. Looked good, nice and tight..

    In my live system I set up , as far as I can tell, exactly the same pages, with all the settings in the Enfold Child and WooCommerce etc., but now the thumbnail is much larger and square with product details below. The list doesn’t look good and I am struggling to find a solution. Oddly, If I use the Preview Changes button, the display is as I want – small round thumbnail and the details next to it.

    Hi,
    I tried to recreate this issue on my localhost, I installed the Law Demo and then when to Import / Export and saved the theme settings file, then I went to General Styling and choose a predefined color scheme “Elegant Red” which gave me this on the homepage:
    2018-10-08_203428
    Then I went to Enfold Theme Options and used the “reset all options” button at the bottom, which removed the demo styling:
    2018-10-08_205034
    Then I used the Import Theme Settings File to upload the theme settings file, and saved the theme settings one more time to rebuild the merged files, and the demo was restored after clearing my browser cache:
    2018-10-08_203907
    I did this twice so I could get the screenshots, and on my second attempt the “Save all changes” button in the theme options panel was not activated, so I added a blank space in the Quick CSS field to activate the “Save all changes” button, and then clicked it, and cleared my browser cache.
    Please try these steps.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hello
    I hit by mistake the “reset all option ” button. Is it possible to disable the “reset all option” button, so I can not hit it by mistake again and all my adjusted options are gone ? Thanks for your help.

    Hello, Rikard. The button says “Sign Me Up.” It’s in red and it’s on the homepage. I was wondering if you can somehow help me with the hover state on this. This button was created with the Optin Form Plugin, and that form has a custom css section. I want to hover over it and change the color.

    I just want to clarify that the “sign me up” button (on the homepage) and the Enfold button (on the testing page) are two different types of button. The “sign me up” button was created using the Optin Form plugin while the button on the testing page is a button provided by Enfold.

    I am also not exactly sure what you mean by custom class. Can you clarify what this custom class is that you are talking about? The furthest I’ve gotten is the code below, but that doesn’t help me with the hover state for these types of buttons either.

    .avia-button {
    background-color:#109bc5!important;
    color: #ffffff!important;
    }

    Thank you

    In reply to: hamburger on mobile

    Hey bobfurgo,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    That’s a nice looking site. To change the burger menu background color and give it a fixed position please try the below CSS

    /* Burger icon background  */
    .av-burger-menu-main.menu-item-avia-special .av-hamburger {
    	background: gold!important;
    	padding: 25px;
    	position: fixed;
    	right: 0px;
    	top:0;
    }

    .av-hamburger span {
    	top: 13px;
    }

    #header.header-scrolled .av-hamburger span {
    	top:0;
    }

    But first, you should remove the previous code to avoid conflict and perform the below steps to clear the browser cache:

    1. Disable “merging and compression” for CSS and JS files from Enfold > Performance.
    2. If a caching plugin is installed check the plugin settings and clear the cache and deactivate the plugins for testing purpose.
    3. Hard refresh by pressing Ctrl + Shift + F5 on your browser or press the F12 key to open chrome dev tools and right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”.

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    Hallo
    I am using Enfold on my new website http://www.gulbil.dk – but when I save a page I get these codes:

    Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in /customers/2/a/7/gulbil.dk/httpd.www/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/codeblock.php on line 250 Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /customers/2/a/7/gulbil.dk/httpd.www/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/codeblock.php:250) in /customers/2/a/7/gulbil.dk/httpd.www/wp-admin/post.php on line 198 Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /customers/2/a/7/gulbil.dk/httpd.www/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/codeblock.php:250) in /customers/2/a/7/gulbil.dk/httpd.www/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1219

    Is it possibel for you to see what is wrong? I can hit the back button and everything looks good on the front end and it is saved. But I would like not to get this messages each time I save a file. Thank you for your help.

    Hi Ace,

    If you go to Enfold->Layout Builder, you have the option to active the extra CSS field for all builder elements. You can then add a class to that button, for instance ace-button. You can then use CSS like this in Quick CSS:

    .ace-button a:hover {
      background:red;
      color:white;
    }

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hello

    I just want to say that I have been very happy with the quality and support of the Enfold theme.

    I was wondering if you could help me with something.

    On my homepage, there is a subscribe button. I designed that button using the Optin Form Plugin. There is a section for Custom CSS. My objective is simple. I just want to add an active hover state to the button. However, I do not think the code below would suffice.

    a:hover {
    color: #109bc5;
    }

    I don’t see why there would be special considerations, but I’m obviously unfamiliar in this area. Please help me implement an active hover state for the subscribe button.

    Additionally, I have also been trying to test the active hover state of the buttons provided by Enfold using custom css, but the codes provided in the other threads do not seem to be working for me either. I have been testing the button out on a testing page to no avail. Please help me with this as well.

    Thank you in advance

    Hey Alexander,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    In the same panel, look for the Screen Options button and then enable the “Products” post type from there. This will give you a list of your product items.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Guys:

    I’m using a table element, Table Options / Table Design = Default. On the Edit Table tab, the font looks normal for the Heading Row and the Default Row, but for the Pricing Row it’s HUGE. And this is in Edit mode; it’s fine in the front end. Any idea why this would be and if there’s a way I can fix it? The table in question is going to need more rows like this, and while it’s fine for site visitors, it’ll be a pain for admins and editors. FYI – I’m not actually using this for prices. I’m using it so I can target those rows with CSS. I can’t use Default or Heading row as I’m using those already for headings and regular text, and I can’t use Button row because that automatically inserts buttons. I’m pasting a link to a screen shot in the private content below.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
    I am bulk adding pages using a self made plugin using WordPress’ Rest API. The generated pages have a custom post type.
    As the generated pages contain Avia short codes, they look well but are not yet “Enfold” pages. To make them Enfold pages, I have to open each page for editing, switch to the Advanced Layout Editor and press the Update button. Only then all Enfold settings are applied to the page.

    What do I have to do client/server side to turn generated pages into Enfold pages? I don’t mind if I have to run an update query on the database to achieve this.
    Regards,
    Maarten.

    Hi!

    I recently updated our theme to Enfold 4.4.1 and now I’m having problems with the preview button on all pages and posts. Whenever I press preview, my changes automatically go live for everyone to see instead of just being an actual preview. Our general IT support couldn’t help me with it.

    Are there any solutions to this?

    Please let me know if you need any more info.

    #1017768

    Hi flordelizamejia,

    Yes, I think that is still possible with few modifications, first make sure to enable Custom CSS Classes by checking Show element options for developers located in Enfold > Layout Builder.
    Then edit the button and set Button Link to #gps-track-disclaimer-popup then in Custom Css Class add the open-popup-link2 then in your functions.php find this code that you have added:

    jQuery('.open-popup-link').magnificPopup({

    and replace it with:

    jQuery('.open-popup-link, .open-popup-link2 > a').magnificPopup({

    Let us know if this helps.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    In reply to: Image overlay bg color

    Hi Ismael,

    thanks. Very interesting, it works. This is a setting from enfold.

    NOT SOLVED
    I want to get rid of the button obove for an equal padding of the background color of the linked overlay image.

    SOLUTION FOR OPACITY / COLOR (conclusion of the threads)
    Opacity of the image

    #top .main_color .avia-button .image-overlay {
        background: transparent !important;
    }

    Background Color transparent: two Versions

    .avia-button {background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);}

    #top .main_color .avia-button .image-overlay {
        background: transparent !important;
    }

    Hi Enfold team,

    My website is live but unfortunately it doesn’t look perfect yet on a mobile phone or iPad:

    Mobile phone:
    – My cover picture doesn’t adjust.
    – In the ‘hamburger menu’ I only see my main menu. Is it also possible to show my secondary menu there in stead of at the top? So that the top on my mobile only shows the flags of the languages?

    Ipad
    – My cover picture doesn’t adjust.
    – On the Dutch pages my logo (top left) slides over ‘home’ in the main menu.
    – The text on the pink button ‘Download the free tips’ shows only ‘Download the free’.

    How can we adjust this so my website looks also great on a mobile phone and iPad?

    Thanks.

    Hi

    I know that you support The Events Calendar and hope that support will extend to Event Tickets, a companion extension by The Events Calendar developer. https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets/

    Here is an event with a ticket. The ticket “Buy Now” button does not show with Enfold even with all plugins deactivated. With a default WordPress theme the button does show.

    Hi Florinek,

    Here is the code you can put in Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css,  if it does not work, put into themes/enfold/css/custom.css

    @media only screen and (min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 1320px) {
      #top .no_margin.av_one_fourth {
          width: 25%;
          padding: 10px 30px !important;
      }
      .avia-button.avia-size-large {
          padding: 13px;
          min-width: 105px
      }
      body .av-special-heading .av-special-heading-tag {
        font-size: 20px;
      }
    }

    I’ve dug through this page and all the forums I can find related to this issue. This one may be the one to go off of: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/open-popup-modal-with-button/ but I would love to know if that is the right track.

    Thanks!

    #1017003

    Hi,
    To use theme buttons as the popup trigger, first be sure the button link is set to manual and the link is “#test-popup” or the same ID as your box.
    Then add a custom class to your button “pu-link”
    2018-10-02_055745
    this option is added at: Enfold Theme Options > Layout Builder > Show element options for developers
    Then in your script you will need to add:

    jQuery('.pu-link a').addClass('open-popup-link');

    like this:

    function popup_inline() { ?>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    jQuery(window).load(function(){
           jQuery('.pu-link a').addClass('open-popup-link');
    	jQuery('.open-popup-link').magnificPopup({
    	  type:'inline',
    	  midClick: true // Allow opening popup on middle mouse click. Always set it to true if you don't provide alternative source in href.
    	});
    });
    </script>
    <?php }

    add_action('wp_head', 'popup_inline');

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hey Roger,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    That is not possible out of the box. You can only set one level of sorting buttons for the portfolio grid or masonry element. Unfortunately, you may need to hire a freelance developer to modify the default sorting script if you really need multiple levels of sorting buttons for your portfolio. You can contact our partner, Codeable.

    Hi Enfold team,

    Today I’ve received an email that I can extend the support for an other 6 months for 29,38 dollar. This price is available till the 10th of October. Then it will be 41,13 dollar.

    When I click on the button in that email I don’t get that offer but a price of more than 50 dollars.

    Could you please send me a link with the right offer so I can extend the support?

    Thanks.

    Hello!

    I am trying to figure out a solution for opening a modal on button click.

    I found a few helpful forums, like this one: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/open-iframe-in-lightbox-modal-window/

    That have allowed me to open the modal on other buttons on my site. However, I am struggling to get this to work with the buttons in my header widget, which I added using this documentation: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/header/#adding-a-header-widget-area

    I’ve used the same href as the properly working buttons: [av_buttonrow_item label='REQUEST FREE CONSULT' link='manually,https://app.acuityscheduling.com/schedule.php?owner=16684187?iframe=true' size='medium' label_display='' icon_select='no' icon='5' font='entypo-fontello' color='theme-color' custom_bg='#444444' custom_font='#ffffff' av_uid='av-3y48lo']
    [/av_buttonrow]

    But this is opening the page as a new site, not in a modal.

    Thank you!
