Hello team Kriesi. I just updated to the latest Enfold and i have problems with the display of the shop page. Before the update I had managed to create a shop page editable with the Advanced Layout Editor. Now it has returned to the “This page is set as the default WooCommerce Shop Overview and therefore does not support the Enfold advanced layout editor ” And Besides that, below the content of the Shop page that i have custom made, now i have the products showing all over again so it kinda doubles the products.
If i may request for your help, i would really want to get rid of the “This page is set as the default WooCommerce Shop Overview and therefore does not support the Enfold advanced layout editor ” so i can edit the page with the Advanced Layout Editor and the second request is to get rid of the products from the shop page as i already made the products within the Advanced Layout Editor as a custom shop page.
*quick note – I am aware of the fact that i can make another shop page, and from the woocommerce settings choose the shop page as default, but when a customer cancel the product from the cart page, and he hit the “return to shop” button, he will be redirected to that page from the woocommerce instead of my custom made shop page. Thanks in advance.

Later Edit: and seems like the Fulllwidth Submenu STICKY on any page are not working. They are showing but i cannot access any link attached and when scroll down, seems like it remains sticky but the rest of the content pass behind. The non sticky is working normal.

I’ve recently started playing around with “Composite Products” for my WordPress installation. Unfortunately, when selecting different options ( = loading new content / reloading content), many of the dynamic elements from Enfold won’t load.

For example:
On the default option (Processor), the bars initially work when the page is loaded. When another option is selected, the bars don’t load. They also don’t load if re-selecting the default (8700K) option.
The same goes for the styling of the + & – buttons.

I’ve contacted the developer of Composite products about this and he responded with the following:

Looking at this, I can only assume that the code that “initializes” those bars only triggers the animation on page load.

As Composite Products loads new markup when a new selection is made, the bars will need to re-initialized every time new selection details are loaded.

As an example, here’s how the official Product Add-Ons extension re-initializes its own content when loading a new Component Option in the front-end:

		$( this ).find( '.cart' ).each( function() {
			wcPaoInitAddonTotals.init( $( this ) );
		} );
	} );

In your case, you’ll need to replace wcPaoInitAddonTotals.init( $( this ) ); with something else, but it’s impossible for our team to know what that “something else” is. That’s a question that only your developer can answer. Composite Products can’t possibly “know” that.

Is there an (somewhat) easy fix for this?

Hello,
I have an problem whith the media-upload dialog on the frontend while using the Enfold theme. The Media-Upload dialog was not displayed after clicking on an “Add Media” button on an BuddyForms-Dialog. No error masage was shown. On the backend it works properly.

I have tried this already:
– deactivate all plugins (except the BuddyForms plugin)
– deinstall cache plugin
– activate the normal enfold thema (I use an child-theme)
– re-rename the wp-content folder (from “cms”)
– On the Performance options: Always load all elements and disable CSS and Javascript file merging and compression.

The only way the Media-Upload dialog was working was to activate an other wordpress thema (twenty seventeen). Then it works.
Thats also the reason way I’m not reaching out to the BuddyForms support.

In the private content you find the site url and login crecentials. Keep in mind, that the “Add Media” button was only visible after you have logged in.

I normally do search before posting a request here but I was not able to find anything about how to change the following texts in my shop. I appreciate your help:

1) how to change the word “product” in entire shop?
2) how to change the word “cart” to another word in the following notification: “Green Blouse “Daria”” has been added to your cart.
Also I want to know how to change the button text
3) How can I change the words “Cart” and “Checkout” in the cart icon menu on the top?
4) how can I just remove the product price and quantity as well as subtotal from the cart menu?
5) how can I remove Price, quantity and total from cart table?
6) how can I remove “update cart” button?

Hey all,

I am using enfold to build a one-pager. The theme is great but sadly I have some issues.
I found posts regarding this topic but no solution worked for me.

1. While on mobile and tablet all grids I want to hide are hidden, the background pics are making a lot of trouble with the landscape mode at the iPad (Desktop is working on my mac without a prob). There is no logical behavior I can see. Some of them stay hidden, some are displaying cut. Is there a solution to either display all of them nicely or hid all of them. (hide on mobile is activated in all rows)

2. Is it possible to activate the scroll to top button in mobile?

Hi,
i’m facing this issue since few months (maybe 1 year) on all my enfold theme websites (about 12 differents websites).
On frontend but usually on backend when reaching dashboard or navigate on backend:
-Page are loading
-After 2 seconds it display a blank page and loading continue during 50 sec (1 minute and more)
If i wait sometime it display the page after 1 minute (usually with elements not loaded see screen shoot in private)

I found a solution:
-when it begin to load for long time: i clic on the stop button on chrome and just after the reload button: the page display in 2 or 3 seconds correctly...

It’s a very long time loosing each day and i wake up (6 month after) to ask you help.

To answer at yous firts questions :
yes i clean my browser cache
No it doesn’t occure when switch to a default WP theme
Yes It occure already when i deasable all plugins
Yes it always occure with older and newer enfold versions
