Hi,
I have wordpress (3.9.9) and enfold theme (up to date). It seems like when wordpress automatically updates, the picture scroll, google map, and contact us section goes out of whack on the main homepage. The picture scroll becomes white which is terrible. What I have done to fix the issue is call my hosting company and they revert back to a previously backed up version of the site. Every 2 weeks or so wordpress updates and the site breaks again. I just installed the “Easy Updates Manager” plugin to stop wordpress from updating automatically. Seems like it might work but then wordpress or Enfold wont update and things might start breaking down further down the line.

Has anyone dealt with this before and is there a better way to keep allowing wordpress to update and not have the site break down every couple weeks? As of right now the site is working and I have all auto updates turned off.

Should I expect a response from the creator of Enfold?

Is it possible to have the large image auto fade to the next gallery image rather than having to scroll over a thumbnail to activate. Clients are not always that intuitive as to what they have to move or scroll over to get an auto slideshow working. Would be great if it just auto played the next image in order of the thumbnails. ? as well as having the roll over thumbnail option

The following is the temporary solution for:
A. scrolling letters disappearing from my home page
B. Looping background video turning into a still shot on my home page
C. Looping background video disappearing from the contact us page
D. it does this randomly and about 1-2 per month.
so here’s the solution.

Once I’m in my hostgator account:

1. close the popup
2. click file manager
3. in the fourth row
4. click go
5. go in wp-content
6. very top
7. scroll all the way up
8. go to themes
9. you see enfold.zip
10. yes
11. don’t download
or double click
12. select it
13. and press extract
14. ok
15. at the very top right
16. click extract files
17. select close
18. & you are done
19. What’s up with that????
20. it is replacing all the theme files
21. I’m not familiar with that.
22. as enfold team advised last time
23. Is there a way to automate that?

I’m having problems with your form builder. The page at movept.rudtek.com. the last 2 sections of the page are giving me problems. I want to a have a 2 column (1/3, 2/3) section followed by a full width map section. If i place the 2 colum section in a grid row, it doesn’t stay in the container. However if i place it in a color section and then place two colums so that i can stay in the container, it places the map in a container so it’s no longer full width. I’ve placed the full code below. You’ll see that if you delete the bottom color section that has 2 columns (a contact data section adn a contact form, the map will go back to full width.

How can we fix this?

We are not able to save the theme options and it’s not related to a plugin.

Hey guys,

I noticed how the blog sidebar gets broken in two parts (and all widgets start displaying in the second section of the sidebar) if I insert a color section in the main body of the blogpost using the Avia Layout Builder.
The color section goes full screen from left to right, whereas it should just fit inside the blog post layout and keep the sidebar to the right intact.

Is there a way to do that?

I do it because I want to link a phrase in the blogpost to an upper part of the same blogpost rather than an outside link, so the post scrolls up automatically to the part I want readers to go to.

1. When I open this page of my website -> http://goo.gl/50p0WD, the browser is automatically scrolling down to the email signup form at the bottom of the page. So, you can’t see the top of the page on your first visit.

2. How can I remove the ‘green arrow hover effect’ on the images on this page -> http://goo.gl/QhXy1F I tried but I couldn’t do it.

I’m using the accordion element as a dynamic post container.
Because I want to create links to show up different post content in a container.

For example:
Press button 1 -> post 1 shows up in container
Now, press button 2 -> post 1 hides in container, post 2 shows up in container

Actually, I don’t know how to achieve this without using the accordion element.

You can either click on ‘open info 1’ and/or ‘open info 2’
As you can see, I disabled the visibility of the container titles, so only the content is visible.
When you click on ‘open info 1’ everything is fine.
But when you click on ‘open info 2’ the page scrolls to much down. I know, that’s because the accordion element thinks that ‘info 2’ is located beneath ‘info 1’. So more at the bottom.

This is only a test. When it works the amount of links / accordion fields will be increased to 7 instead of 2.

My question is, is there way to disable the automatic-scroll-down-to-the-content-function?

It’s a little bit difficult to explain in English. But I hope you’ll understand what I’m trying to reach.
