Hi brunostersa!
Open /config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/postslider.php:
Replace line 333-341:
$markup = avia_markup_helper(array('context' => 'entry','echo'=>false));
$output .= "<article class='slide-entry flex_column {$style} {$post_class} {$grid} {$extraClass} {$thumb_class}' $markup>";
$output .= $thumbnail ? "<a href='{$link}' data-rel='slide-".avia_post_slider::$slide."' class='slide-image' title=''>{$thumbnail}</a>" : "";
$output .= "<div class='slide-content'>";
$markup = avia_markup_helper(array('context' => 'entry_title','echo'=>false));
$output .= '<header class="entry-content-header">';
$output .= !empty($title) ? "<h3 class='slide-entry-title entry-title' $markup><a href='{$link}' title='".esc_attr(strip_tags($title))."'>".$title."</a></h3>" : '';
$output .= '</header>';
By this:
$markup = avia_markup_helper(array('context' => 'entry','echo'=>false));
$output .= "<article class='slide-entry flex_column {$style} {$post_class} {$grid} {$extraClass} {$thumb_class}' $markup>";
$markup = avia_markup_helper(array('context' => 'entry_title','echo'=>false));
$output .= '<header class="entry-content-header">';
$output .= !empty($title) ? "<h3 class='slide-entry-title entry-title' $markup><a href='{$link}' title='".esc_attr(strip_tags($title))."'>".$title."</a></h3>" : '';
$output .= '</header>';
$output .= $thumbnail ? "<a href='{$link}' data-rel='slide-".avia_post_slider::$slide."' class='slide-image' title=''>{$thumbnail}</a>" : "";
$output .= "<div class='slide-content'>";
Cheers!
Josue
Hey!
Are you talking about the lightbox? Zoom feature is only available for product thumbnails.
Regards,
Ismael
well, I’ve managed to place zoom area, like I wanted, thx.
But here is another bug – when I click on thumbnail, an image appears in top-left corner:
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-uhUXxghpuTNHpPTFNCbE1hSjg/edit?usp=drivesdk
Hi, I’ve recently finished my site with Enfold and made live http://www.davidmattock.co.uk
on my old site I was running yoast SEO and Video SEO plugins fine. So I installed them for my new enfold site and all seemed to be working fine, but I now have a problem with the video SEO as follows:
When I go to one of my portfolio entries with an embded vimeo video it seems to work fine and shows me my video thumbnail, but as soon as I enter any details like focused keyword, description etc for wordpress SEO then click update, the video thumbnail and video SEO options disappear? I’ve tried 4 different portfolio posts now and the same happens every time ?
So I contacted support at Yoast and they logged into my site and replied with the following…
“You seem to use a plugin/shortcode that we do not support ( [av_video… ).” ?
I found the support post “https://kriesi.at/support/topic/use-yoast-video-seo-with-kriesis-themes/” but does not apply to me as Im not using video in sliders just straight forward normal portfolio entries.
I think this shortcode is just part of Enfold so not sure what to do to get video SEO working now?
Many thanks
I’m very enthusiastic about the new Masonry option, but also a bit disappointed by certain limitations. For example:
- The Masonry Gallery doesn’t seem to allow me to use thumbnails for the grid overview. In my case, where they click to view high quality jpgs, this means they load in a bunch of way too big pictures in the overview. The Media Gallery does have this option, making me wonder why this wasn’t implemented here.
- It would have been nice to set our own link to the items, for example link an item to a page, image, file (like PDF) or manual link.
- A “Load more” button instead of automatic loading when the visitor scrolls down.
I have upgraded and it looks awesome :) Is there anyway to make it a 4 or 5 column gallery? (at the moment it only stays at 3 columns) > http://www.realwiredmusic.com/previous-ongoing-bookings-2/
ALSO I just looked at my one portfolio page, and ALL my artists are gone! Could this have to do with the upgrade?? Please help this is urgent!! > http://www.realwiredmusic.com/artists/
Thanks!
Awesome! Will give it a go and let you know if it works for me.
Thanks :)
Hi!
You can update to Enfold version 2.4 and use new Masonry Gallery element under Media Elements :)
Cheers!

Hi,
I might be barking up the wrong tree but since installing Enfold my site won’t load. I have tried resetting all the plugins and holding the theme, but whatever I try, I just can’t get it running again.

I am getting this kind of error in the log:

Hey!
Ok I debugged the issue and it seems to be a problem/bug with the WPML plugin. Kriesi uses following code in /wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/postslider.php
$commentCount = get_comments_number($the_id);
to query the comments number. This function seems to work when WPML is deactivated but it breaks when WPML is activated (at least it doesn’t seem to accept the id parameter). However the other functions (i.e. get_permalink() or get_the_post_thumbnail()) work just fine and I think the WPML plugin doesn’t return the right comment count when the get_comments_number() is used within a loop. Please contact the WPML plugin authors and ask them to look into it (you can also link to this post) because I think this is something which needs to be fixed in the WPML core plugin code.
Best regards,
Peter

Hi!
Can you please post the link to your website? You can add the url of the video inside an anchor tag, use the Div / Video field. This will open the video on a lightbox.
<a href="VIDEO URL HERE" rel="lightbox"><img src="IMAGE OR VIDEO THUMBNAIL URL HERE"></a>
Best regards,
Ismael
Hey cannonballb!
Please post the login details and set it as a private reply. We would like to inspect the page with the gallery, please post the actual link here.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hey!
Have you installed a plugin prior to the issue? Please use this plugin to regenerate the thumbnails: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
Regards,
Ismael
Worked! Thank you so much!
Hi!
You are using a plugin call WP User Frontend and it is creating a wpuf attachments or thumbnail. Please add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS:
.wpuf-attachments {
display: none;
}

Ismael
Hi, my gallery images are of different sizes – in particular the dimensions are different e.g. some portrait, some landscape – all are of screenshots showing different functionality. They cannot be saved out in the same aspect ratio or pixel dimension.
As such when I add a ‘small thumbnail’ gallery to my site, the thumbnails look awful as they are all of different heights despite being the same width.
Given that WordPress allows me to crop and set the size of a thumbnail, is there no way to force the gallery to use these thumbnails as the default thumbnails rather than creating it’s own on the fly depending on the numbers of columns that are set?
Or is there another work around for showing ‘cropped’ thumbnails in the gallery but the full size image in Lightbox?
Thanks for your help.
Hi there!
Please take a look at this page : http://www.realwiredmusic.com/previous-ongoing-bookings-2/
(you’ll need my login details, which I can post in a private message once you reply.)
I would like these gallery thumbnails to all be one size, as it looks messy with them in their original proportions – for example, all portfolio featured images (that I use in other areas of the site) are resized to fit into a certain space, which I like. I don’t need these gallery thumbnails to show the whole image, but I definitely want the page to look neater than it does now.
I’ve tried a standard WordPress gallery but the thumbnails are tiny with no way to adjust the size. I would prefer to use the Enfold Gallery anyway, so your help would be amazing! Would I need a plugin to control the dimensions of the thumbnails? I have about 50 images to add to this gallery still!
Thanks so much :)

Hi sdaly18!
What Blog Style are you currently using? Please check on Enfold > General Settings > Blog Style. Please give us a link to the Blog page.
Cheers!
Ismael
On all my posts there’s a little extra thumbnail of the featured image. How do I get rid of that?
Thanks for your help.
Steve
When I click on one of the ajax portfolio grid items on http://barsocchini.com/beta2/press/ — 302 Rambla Pacifico Press, for example — I see this — https://www.evernote.com/shard/s320/sh/4d7994f1-33cc-493a-afa2-2d2f186bb9d0/91eeeb06953bbc910c41eb78e457c7bb — the “Big image with thumbnails below” gallery layout, with only one image. Shouldn’t the ajax reveal the actual layout of the 3021 Rambla Pacifico Press portfolio item: http://barsocchini.com/beta2/portfolio-item/3021-rambla-pacifico-press/ which is three images across?
Hi sky19er!
They look the same except for the portfolio title showing on the latter page. What is the “big image, thumbnail below” layout? It is not available on the portfolio options.
Best regards,
Ismael
Is this possible? For example, I have a picture of an employee (Thumbnail – 80×80) with the employee name, position, and a short description below the person. I would like to place them side by side (and possibly even place additional team members below). Kind of like a list of personnel, listed from top to bottom.
ok Devin I tried adding the default wordpress media gallery into a text field which allows you to still use the advanced editor, and also just using the default view and placing that way. In both cases you are right the default galleries automatically include the image title into the bottom of the lightbox. Exactly what I want.
But there is a glaring problem with this. Of course they get no styling like the enfold galleries. I want the sexyness of the enfold gallery but the funtionality of the default gallery. For you folks with skills this shouldn’t be too hard to implement into a child theme.
As of right now you already are… sort of. When you view a featured image for a blog post in the light box it appends the title name above the image in the lightbox. It doesn’t place it at the bottom IN the normal location but either way it is satisfactory. So you are already tapping into this with enfold.
So please try to help if you can on how to implement adding the image title name in to the lightbox when you view the thumbnails in a gallery built with the enfold layout builder. But on a child theme setup.
Thank you. This is super important for me to get this implemented as soon as possible. I need clients to be able to view and reference that unique name when looking at their images.
Hey!
You can edit functions.php, find this code:
$avia_config['imgSize']['entry_with_sidebar'] = array('width'=>710, 'height'=>270); // big images for blog and page entries
Change it to:
$avia_config['imgSize']['entry_with_sidebar'] = array('width'=>710, 'height'=>710); // big images for blog and page entries
Regenerate the thumbnails using this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
Best regards,
Ismael
Hello!
The child theme code (functions.php) will be loaded before the parent theme code. I suggest to use the after_setup_theme hook to overwrite the woocommerce functions in config.php. I.e. let’s assume you want to overwrite the avia_woocommerce_thumbnail() function in config.php. In this case you can use following code to deregister the default function and to replace it with your function
add_action( 'after_setup_theme', 'enfold_woocommerce_child_theme_code' );
function enfold_woocommerce_child_theme_code()
{
remove_action( 'woocommerce_before_shop_loop_item_title', 'avia_woocommerce_thumbnail', 10);
add_action( 'woocommerce_before_shop_loop_item_title', 'avia_woocommerce_thumbnail_child_theme', 10);
function avia_woocommerce_thumbnail_child_theme($asdf)
{
echo "Yippi, I'm the child theme...";
}
}
Basically you just need to copy paste the original function from the child theme, then rename it and modify the function code. Then remove the default action and add your custom function with add_action.

Peter
