    Hi!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    The html markup of the masonry section is incorrect. Instead of:

    <a href="http://www.wordpress-webdesign.org/portfolio-item/lims-at-work/" class="post-3203 portfolio type-portfolio status-publish has-post-thumbnail hentry av-masonry-entry isotope-item  av-masonry-item-with-image av-masonry-item-loaded" title="LIMS at work" itemscope="itemscope" itemtype="https://schema.org/CreativeWork" style="position: absolute; left: 0px; top: 0px;"><div class="av-inner-masonry-sizer"></div><figure class="av-inner-masonry main_color"><div class="av-masonry-outerimage-container"><div class="av-masonry-image-container" style="background-image: url(https://www.wordpress-webdesign.org/wp-content/uploads/Lims_Vorschau.jpg);"><img src="http://www.wordpress-webdesign.org/wp-content/uploads/Lims_Vorschau.jpg" title="Lims_Vorschau" alt=""></div></div><figcaption class="av-inner-masonry-content site-background"><div class="av-inner-masonry-content-pos"><div class="avia-arrow"></div><h3 class="av-masonry-entry-title entry-title" itemprop="headline">LIMS at work</h3><div class="av-masonry-entry-content entry-content" itemprop="text">

    </div></div></figcaption></figure></a>

    It shows like this:

    <a href="http://www.wordpress-webdesign.org/portfolio-item/lims-at-work/" style="position: absolute; left: 0px; top: 0px;"><div class="av-inner-masonry-sizer"></div><figure class="av-inner-masonry main_color"><div class="av-masonry-outerimage-container"><div class="av-masonry-image-container" style="background-image: url(https://www.wordpress-webdesign.org/wp-content/uploads/Lims_Vorschau.jpg);"><img src="http://www.wordpress-webdesign.org/wp-content/uploads/Lims_Vorschau.jpg" title="Lims_Vorschau" alt=""></div></div><figcaption class="av-inner-masonry-content site-background"><div class="av-inner-masonry-content-pos"><div class="avia-arrow"></div><h3 class="av-masonry-entry-title entry-title" itemprop="headline">LIMS at work</h3></div></figcaption></figure></a>

    Please download the theme again from your themeforest account then override the old files with a new one.

    Cheers!

    Hi,
    thanks for above link. I think it will be used for needs with Password.
    On my page it would be only for public use.

    My question is:
    Can I upload the pdf file to the ENFOLD-MEDIATHEK and link a thumbnail-button from my download page to this URL?
    Is that possible with ENFOLD? Will the download work by click? If yes what should I intend?

    Regards

    Thanks Elliott

    Yes I have tried editing the functions.php file and added the above in various places but it didn’t make any difference. (lines 127-128, lines 99-100)

    What controls the size of the thumbnails?

    Thanks

    Jane

    Hey Ismael,

    The videos i’m using have been uploaded to wordpress directly. Is there a way to get the thumbnail and play button to show without using a vimeo link?

    Thanks

    Is this an option? I’ve tried all of the slide shows and can’t figure it out. I know the advanced layslider can, but I need it to live in a column and not go full width.

    http://eventsights.com/portfolio-item/miller-64/

    Also, is there any way to make sure all the thumbnails are the same size?

    Thanks!

    #381482

    Hi!

    It’s probably supposed to look like this.

    $current_post['slider']  	= get_the_post_thumbnail($current_post['the_id'], $size);
     featuredImgAttribution();

    Or if it’s supposed to echo something out then try right before line 98.

    echo "<div class='blog-meta'>";

    Or right after line 126.

    echo "</div>";

    Cheers!

    And how would be the code to stop the effect on any thumbnails in galleries as well as mansory thumbs? thanks!

    #381457

    Hi Elliott,

    Thanks but that only opens up the video on YouTube, I want it to open up inside the box where it is currently previewing the thumbnail in a large size. Can you show us:
    – the settings for your Porfolio Grid on http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/videos/
    – the settings for one of those portfolio items
    I have played with every variation but still can’t get it to work like your grid with the video in the lightbox.

    Hey Tim2309!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Set the Portfolio Grid Image Size to manual then select the image thumbnail size that you think is best for 4 column grid.

    Cheers!

    Hi PeppyPeppsen!

    Thank you for visiting the support forum.

    Go to Settings > Media panel then set the width and height of the Large size thumbnail to 9999. Regenerate or upload the thumbnails again. Use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

    Ismael

    Hi!

    Actually, the “Serve scaled images” criteria tells you to serve a smaller thumbnail version of the images. I checked the site and the images listed on this criteria is fully displayed without css or html resized so we can assume that this is a false positive result. Please try to follow the steps on the link provided above starting from installing a cache and minify plugin and optimizing the images manually or by a plugin, also mentioned on the link.

    Regards,
    Ismael

    Okay, I have a perfect and wonderful solution for both you and I. Instead of suggesting I submit a feature request that may or may not be done, or may take six months to roll-out, how’a about this? So that we can get on with our day and the many hours and days we’ve already invested building things so far, please point me to the file(s) that control the popup window I’ve identified. This way, we can efficiently manage the beast we are building.

    Please send me the information for the exact ALB Content element and the corresponding files on the back-end of Enfold that I’ve outlined clearly. Obviously, there are different settings for the Media/Image Popup windows based on which Content Element is selected from the ALB. So, it may require you re-reading my first post above to send me accurate file information. If you don’t know what files control the specific Content Element, please forward this thread to someone who does know. It very well could include both PHP, Javascript and/or a CSS files. The latter is not that important because we can probably figure that out by glancing over the PHP and Javascript files.

    This solution will help both you and I and we can evaluate whether it warrants the time and effort to code the feature on our installation. And if you decide to tackle it yourself (which I would advise), then that will be a big plus for you (and your customers) because they (and we) won’t have to guess by trial and error what file we’ve selected in a mass of thumbnails that look very, very similar.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
    I wonder, is it possible to change the action in image gallery from mouseover to click? What I want is to keep the Tooltip when mouseover at thumbnails however I want the bigger image to change on top with a click and not with mousover. Sorry for my bad english.

    Hello,
    when I create a gallery in an article, I have always the same problem: the images appear extremely small, also if I chose medium (gallery size=”medium”) or full or other parameters. With other themes the gallery works fine, but with Enfold I have this issue. Any idea what’s wrong?
    I’m using latest Enfold, WP and browsers.
    Thanks

    Hey!

    I can’t login to your site anymore. Please check the login details.

    2. I think I am not sure if I get what you mean. The post title will anyway be shown firstly, then you can add your image into the post and after the image just add your text. You can choose yourself what comes first and second by putting the items in the order you want them to appear.

    3. I need access to your website.
    Which browser are you using?

    4. If it does not work for you, then you can just add your image into your post and edit it, then select “custom URL” and link the image to our post.
    Another solution could be to add this to your functions.php:

    add_filter( 'post_thumbnail_html', 'my_post_image_html', 10, 3 );

    function my_post_image_html( $html, $post_id, $post_image_id ) {
    	$html = '<a href="' . get_permalink( $post_id ) . '" title="' . esc_attr( get_the_title( $post_id ) ) . '">' . $html . '</a>';
    	return $html;
    }

    Cheers!

    Hi Genius’ I am pulling my hair out can you help!!

    I want a grid of videos the same as you have here in your demo videos

    I have created it so far but instead of the video popping up I get the thumbnail portfolio image. I cannot find any reference in either the original portfolio grid or the portfolio item itself to put a video instead of “image”.

    Hey aribann!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Install the Simple Image Sizes plugin then go to Settings > Media panel. Adjust the size of the entry_with_sidebar thumbnail. Update then save changes before regenerating the thumbnails.

    Q1. How in the world do you enable more file information to be visible in the “Add Multiple Images” window pane on some of your “Content Elements” tools? Right now it’s just showing thumbnails.

    Showing thumbnails has it’s obvious benefits and a “picture is a thousand words” so you don’t need to try and explain the merits behind the design. That’s easy to understand. But, doing away with important information that facilitate site management is pointless. It is easy to add this file information below the thumbnails without messing with the pretty presentation. You can make it tiny if you’re worried about cluttering up the design. The cursor properties in the CSS don’t even allow you to see ALT information on mouseover, so finding out more info about the file is impossible without opening Firebug jumping through other hoops.

    Certainly someone has posed this question in your forum before, but I can’t find it for the life of me doing searches. If it’s a settings issue in WordPress or Enfold, please share the information in a relatively easy to understand method like this: settings –> sub link –> sublink –> show file information

    If this involves adjusting code on the backend to enable this, we are fine getting our hands dirty with PHP. We understand it. We’ve got a lot of images in our website and not having file information available when adding content makes things a guessing game and makes your template pretty much a boat anchor here that we can’t use.

    If you need an example of what I’m describing, just go to your “Partner Logo Element” and start trying to add some images. It will be obvious what I’m describing from there. The “Add multiple Images” window pane shows only a bunch of thumbnails, but the normal WordPress Media Manager utility includes file information in a scrollable window pane (Iframe) on the right side of the thumbnails when you click on a thumbnail.

    Q2.Why in the world is this not an option in Content Elements?

    I would change the size of thumbnails, 36 * 36 are too small, I modified the file functions.php but nothing happens, I put in the place of an existing measure as 36, 180 but the same previews are not changed. How can I do?

    Hey folks,

    I’m setting up a new site for a client and I selected Enfold based on its flexibility and power. Loving a lot of the features, but I’m having a weird problem with a gallery I inserted via the Avia Layout Builder.

    problem.

    I know that WP has created square aspect ratio thumbnails for the uploaded images, because that’s what I see in the media library. But no matter what Gallery Preview Image Size I choose in the Gallery settings, I end up with these portrait images destroying the uniform grid look.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks,

    Dan

    #380254

    Hey Angiec13!

    Open up /enfold/includes/loop-index.php and on line 84 you should see this.

    $link = avia_image_by_id(get_post_thumbnail_id(), 'large', 'url');

    You can add this beneath it.

    $link = "http://www.google.com";

    If you were wanting to set it to a custom link.

    Regards,
    Elliott
