No, Enfold theme options will not be overwritten during theme updates. You can also start using a child theme – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/ and move your custom CSS into style.css file of your child theme.

You can find your purchase code in the license they sent you and you can use it to register to our support forum here – https://kriesi.at/support/register/. If your web designer already registered using your purchase code, you can post your purchase code here privately and we can reset the account and switch email to yours. That way you would receive full support.

However, you would be only able to download the updated version of the theme on ThemeForest using your web designers ThemeForest account.
If that will not be possible, please post your license, FTP and WP admin logins here privately so we can update the theme for you. Also, please note that since you are currently using a very old version of the theme, you may need to re-configure some options/settings such as header and widget areas.

And lastly, please ask your designer to generate an API key on ThemeForest and forward it to you with their ThemeForest username, so you can insert those credentials in Enfold theme options to receive auto updates – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

3- You can add additional icon fonts from Fontello.com and Flaticon.com in Enfold theme options > Import & Export tab :)
4- No, it should not be however you may need to recreate your content using Advanced Layout Builder elements to make your pages look more professional.
