Adding custom CSS works fine on theme elements. You can try adding following code to Functions.php file in Appearance > Editor
```
function add_custom_script(){
?>
<script>
jQuery(window).load(function(){
jQuery('#docContainer').addClass('overflow-hidden');
});
</script>
<?php
}
add_action('wp_footer', 'add_custom_script');
```
then add following code to Quick CSS
<pre.overflow-hidden { overflow: hidden !important; }
If that too does not work, try contacting plugin developer

You can enable debugging mode to see shortcodes you have created in pages using Advanced Layout Builder – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
You can switch to Default Editor and click on Magic Wand to see full list of shortcodes http://i.imgur.com/n4KXkdm.jpg
then you can create any of them and copy/paste shortcode into any other content element or into text widget.

Have you tried adding the code to Custom.css file inside Enfold/css folder?
Also make sure that wp-content/uploads folder has correct permissions ( 755 )

I have changed “responsive under” and “layers container” from 1140 to 1700 in LayerSlider WP > Slider Settings > Layout – http://i.imgur.com/E2YOJ5x.png
EDIT: Set it back to 1140
