Can you please post a screenshot and show the changes you would like to make? You can add a Searchbox to a widget area in Appearance > Editor and then add Widget Area element to your page and choose to display widget area with searchbox in it.

Please go to Appearance > Editor and open Functions.php file and find

$avia_config['imgSize']['widget'] 			 	= array('width'=>36,  'height'=>36);						// small preview pics eg sidebar news

and change it as needed and then regenerate thumbnails using this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
