Images, in this case, have to be set as background for the cells, otherwise, they will not scale with the cell.
Please try creating a grid row with those images as cell backgrounds.

Can you please check server log for error? If we know what the error is that brings the website down we can come up with a solution.

Or try just the enfold/config-templatebuilder/ folder, delete it and upload a fresh copy. This is where the most changed were made in this version and it is smaller so it should not take long.
