That looks like the JavaScript we were discussing in another thread where you wanted to move the post meta next to the title. It makes the image disappear. That code needs to be adjusted.

Yes, the sidebar will always be pushed down by the full-width element.

This is not ideal but this css can give you some ideas:

Enfold uses even older jQuery, the 1.4.1 is the version of the jQuery migrate.
