Well, you can remove the space like this:

```
And add whatever elements you need with the Advanced Layout Builder.

You are using WordPress version that has Gutenberg but the 4.5 theme is not ready for it. Please update the theme to the latest version, to 4.5.7.

Then you will be able to choose which editor you want to use in the theme options.
