Yes, when you’re working on the css anywhere, merging has to be disabled. It can be enabled when all css changes are done.

No, categories are using a different php file and they cannot be built with the Advanced Layout Builder, so you can create a template of your own, but you need to know at least a little bit of php.

You can look for a plugin that can help you or hire a freelancer to do it for you.

The featured image display can be set here:
https://share.getcloudapp.com/04uK6WXg and I think you can toggle or rearrange the blocks in the sidebar.

Also, you can go back to the old display style in the Theme options here:

And the code I gave you before is to adjust the icons, yeah. You can play with the value for the margin-top to put the icons where you need them.

This will be very difficult to adjust for all screen sizes. You can try using media queries to reduce the heading font and the padding for the text section but the boxes might not match on all screen sizes.

Well, you can create custom widget areas and assign menu’s there and then in the settings here
https://share.getcloudapp.com/lluy0GWP choose which sidebar to display for each page built with the Advanced Layout Builder individually.
