i don’t know if i have to remove it or not.Hi,
i’ve tried to add this code and it makes me increase the sizes of images but if you look at it you can see that images does not fit the square (of the magazine element) in which they are. So the only idea i have is to remove the squares of the magazine element structure. Is it possible? If not, please help me to re-set thumbnail and magazine sizes as original, and i ll try an other solution to show posts on homepage. i’ve attached 2 links to images to make you understand better. Thanks for your help
of course
Hi,
Of course. My website is http://www.viaggiareverde.itbest regards
I found ( on an old discussion) a CSS code to increase the size of the all magazine element. i used it, but it still not what i have in my mind and it does not allow me to increase images size. Just to let you know if you look at it.
Hi,
thank you for the answer but it still does not work.I can’t undestand why.I changed the size of the magazine element. as you said, but the images i put in that element keep having the same size.
I give you temporary access so you can take a look. (if you want to try other solutions feel free to do it, then tell me)The result i’d like to have is a bigger list of images on the left and the titles on the right as normal.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Best regards.Luca
The page i need to modify is the homepage, viaggiareverde.it you can see two half column with the magazine element inside. I would lile to increase the size of those images. Tell me if you need more informations
Hi,
thank you for the answer. I’ve solved it by re-modifing the function.php file from the cpanel.Best regards
Ok i understand. Thank you for the answers.
Best regardsOk so id like to hide this media files from the serp. I think it will be useless to have these images in the google result page. Do you know if i can hide media file from the “normal” search but leave them visible in the “images search”. Thank you
Ok thank you. But the watermark will not be clickable, right? Id like to have something that can be clicked just to make everything very easy for users
Yes its ok.. can you explain me how to add this water mark. Thank you
I know that in google images you can find this button, but this is not exactly my problem. My problem is in the normal google search (not for images) in which there are links to my media files. If you open one of these link you go inside my website, in a page that only show the media file ( like an image of one of my posts). I cant understand why there is no way to go to the article in which that media file is located. So, Google shows links to my media files, this links make the user access only to the media file but dont allow the user to see the article it cames from.
I find it in the serp. If you search “Tahiti” for exaple, in the serp i can find both my article and my media file. But if i click on the link to the media file it only shows me the image and not the article.
Try to search: tahiti site:viaggiareverde.it and click on “Tahiti Papeete Polinesia Francese – viaggiareverde” . You ll see only the media file. I’d like to have an internal link to my article.yes i give you temporary access
Thank you for the answer. The thing i’d like to know is if there is a way to connect images to article. I explain; if you open the link i gave you, you see an image of tahiti. In that page you can only click on it and see that image on fullscreen. Since this picture is in the serp (before the article it cames from) i dont link the fact that people can only see this picture and can not see the article in which this picture is located. So it wuold be nice if clicking on the pictures(or the title of the picture) the user goes to the article. Hope i explained clear enough, if i dont, please ask.
I’ve tried using a custom link in the pictures but anything changed. Can anyone help?
Thank you! It works perfectly.
Best regards

i’ve tried to put that code in the fuction.php but the magazine element still show me the same article i’m reading. I give you access so you can take a look ( i left the code in the function.php, at the top, so you can see it easily). can you tell me how can i give you temporary access?
ThanksPlease tell me if you need more information to solve this problem. Thanks
It’s already set in this way
I think it sould, but maybe i have this problem because i’m using the advanced layout builder for posts (cause i need it). Infact i’m using the magazine element like a “related post” element. I can understand that my use is not exactly what the magazine element has been built for, but it seems the most appropriate solution for showing related post.
For the solution you suggest, i don’t understand what i have to do (where to go to do this changes and so on), so can you please explain it a little more? Or tell me what you need
Thanks
Thank you. It works, now the related post title is normal as usual.
What can i do to remove the duplicate article? At the moment (using the magazine element with the tags) it show me also the same post that it’s above that element, so it “suggest” the article just read. -
