Thanks for the note, Rikard. Hmmm. I use both Chrome and Firefox. I swear the box was doubled in both. Maybe a cache issue??
Anyhow, you are quite right. Checking last night and this morning, miraculously or otherwise, all is now well.
Case closed, it seems.
I appreciate the support! Lance

Thanks, Ismael. That did the trick.
July 15, 2017 at 6:07 pm in reply to: Strange Formating of The Events Calendar Pro Entries in Enfold Site #821748Thanks very much for this, Victoria. Alas, it seems to make no difference. The venu information is still hoisted up on the left in its own column, thus:
https://centerforworldmusic.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/3-No-Plugins-Only-CSS-from-Victoria.jpg
With Yigit’s code (above) I get the full width, single column graphic and event info, but no venue info.
https://centerforworldmusic.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/4-No-Plugins-Only-CSS-from-Yigit-2.jpgSo I guess I do indeed need further assistance. Thanks! Lance
PS: This is how it looks with Enfold replaced by the standard WordPress Twenty Sixteen theme:
https://centerforworldmusic.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/5-No-Plugins-WP-2017-Theme-524×1030.jpgJuly 13, 2017 at 9:38 pm in reply to: Strange Formating of The Events Calendar Pro Entries in Enfold Site #820798I have been told repeatedly by official reps on this forum that Enfold is compatible with The Events Calendar. I’m running Enfold in a staging site with no plugins other than The Events Calendar and no Quick CSS, essentially a bare-bones Enfold setup. Still the strange formatting. I’m not sure what you mean, then, by “because of the modifications of those.”
July 10, 2017 at 4:23 pm in reply to: Strange Formating of The Events Calendar Pro Entries in Enfold Site #818837Since there’s been no response in two weeks, let me try again, with a less convoluted approach:
1. On my staging site, I deactivated all plugins except TEC and TECPro. I deleted all Quick CSS. Result: Looks exactly the same, as far as I can see, with venue information hoisted up in a left column, featured image and event description squeezed into a right column, no <<All Events link at the top.
2. Then, keeping plugins the same (all deactivated except TEC and TECPro). I added the Quick CSS suggested by Yigit above. Result: The (unwanted) left column with venue information disappears completely. No venue information at bottom. Column with featured image and event description looks good. No << All Events link at the top. Thus:

I’m at a loss as to how to proceed further to solve this. Help appreciated.

June 23, 2017 at 6:27 pm in reply to: Strange Formating of The Events Calendar Pro Entries in Enfold Site #812231Hi Yigit,
Thanks for your input. I’ve tried this code on our staging site, with no other quick CSS. It helps. The single event listing is better, except the venue information is not there, nor the << All Events link at the top.
Single event on staging site with your suggested CSS only
However, the event list (all upcoming events) was actually made worse, with the venue info squeezed on the left.
Event list on staging site with your suggested CSS only:
I tried adding your suggested code to simple CSS in the live site, with a good deal of other Quick CSS entries, and it seems to make no difference:
https://centerforworldmusic.org/event/north-india-classical-sitar-tabla/
As you can see, the venue info is still hoisted up in what is seemingly its own column on the left.I’m including our entire Quick CSS file in the Private Content area, in case perhaps you can spy something. Note that it contains a number of suggested tweaks derived from earlier interactions with the Tribe team on this forum.
Any further suggestions you might have would be much appreciated. Thanks! Lance
Thanks, Yigit. I found it. Actually, I didn’t need to create a new menu, but just edit the existing menu. I just couldn’t find it, so your help is appreciated.
I just want to edit the words and links, probably to Donate | Subscribe | Contact. Do you have to do that for me because it requires some elaborate coding or something?
I was assuming that there is somewhere in the Dashboard I could modify that kind of thing without coding, just that I couldn’t find it.
Sorry. I have a day job! :-)
Do you have anywhere instructions for reverting to a default WordPress theme? Can I do this without screwing up the site permanently?
Thanks! Lance
Dear Basillis,
I’m sorry but I don’t understand your advice. I’m not sure what it means to add images “from the theme options.” So far as I know, all of the images on our site have been added via the media library. Neither do I understand what it would mean to “replace them.” Does that mean delete them from the media library and upload them again?
Here’s one example. Whynopadlock.com consistently says that the primary logo on the site is insecure, thus:
Insecure URL: http://centerforworldmusic.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/logo_w_red_type_52.pngHowever, when I look for this item in my media library, I find it at a secure (https) address:
https://centerforworldmusic.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/logo_w_red_type_52.pngAny further clarification and help you could provide would be appreciated.
Thanks! Lance
Ismael,
I received this message from the website host (Flywheel):If the SSL Insecure Content Fixer plugin isn’t solving the issue for certain images, it means those images are hard-coded to HTTP. In other words, wherever those images are originally being called into the page—whether it’s in a setting somewhere in the WordPress admin area, in the theme customization, or a theme file—it’s specifically typed out as “http://”.
You’ll need to find the source of that image—again, wherever it’s being pulled into the page—and either edit “http” to “https” *or* make the link a relative link instead of an absolute link (by eliminating everything before the first slash after “centerforworldmusic.org”).
Do I have to edit the theme myself? Thanks!
Thanks, Ismael, but none of these work. Still getting the message that the images are insecure.
Number of insecure items: 2

OK, I figured out how to tweak the numbers in @begrafik’s code. So I’m happy.
Sorry for the delayed reply; I don’t seem to be receiving the follow-up reply notifications via email.
Yes, indeed. @begrafik’s solution did work. Many thanks to him or her. I added it to my “quick css” box. Actually a tad too well, in the sense that now the Details/Organizers panel is a bit too wide for my taste, so that it now dominates the screen, thus:
http://centerforworldmusic.org/event/passport-worlds-music-2016-04-30/
Would I be correct in assuming that I could adjust those numbers? How would I adjust them to make the Details/Organizers panel, say, 20 px narrower?
May I ask: Would there be some quick css code that would move the Details/Organizer panel back down below the main event panel, like it use to be?
Your help is much appreciated! Lance

Many thanks, Jordan. This worked perfectly. You all are fantastic. –Lance
Excellent! Thanks. That seems (so far) to have done the trick. Appreciate your help on this.
In addition, when a list of hits appears in the dropdown under the search box, it is unintelligible because the image behind is showing through.
Ooops, sorry. I spoke a tad too soon. The code works on the list view, but not on the calendar view, which behaves as before. Is a further tweak needed?
http://centerforworldmusic.org/events/month/Many thanks, Josue. Activating the above code in my Code Snippets plugin, as you did, accomplished the necessary. Brilliant!
This reply has been marked as private.Brilliant! Thanks. This works nicely. I placed that css code in the “Quick CSS” box in my Enfold “General Styling” panel, and it worked like a charm. Help much appreciated!
