Hi Rikard,
Thank you for taking the time to reply.
I am still not sure how to correct the error where one color section background is bleeding into a second color section background and then into the footer…
SEE SCREENSHOT
https://www.dropbox.com/s/l7nn0hgmvuq1v28/screencapture-ericawiggenhorn-2019-05-18-21_18_17.png?dl=0I’ve built 30+ sites with enfold and this is not normal behavior for a color section background to bleed into additional color sections.
Hi Rikard,
My apologies, I uploaded the wrong image to Dropbox…

Hi Rikard,
I tested that change, however, it produced new errors…

March 28, 2019 at 11:05 pm in reply to: Issues with negative margins inside of columns — cannot select button #1084313Guenni007, you are the best! Thank you! I hope the Kriesi team sends you an Enfold shirt or something… you really are a blessing to the forum.
I would offer you a starbucks gift card but I remember you prefer a more refined coffee, so I’ll leave it at thank you!
This reply has been marked as private.Hi Victoria and Basilis,
Both issues are corrected…
Can you please share the fixes applied to having the column settings save changes? I have several other sites where this is an issue and would prefer to apply these fixes than wait for a theme update.
Thank you.
Hi Rikard, thank you so much for the help! That appears to do the job… Thank you!
Hi there, I am encountering an error of similar nature on a new page.
When I try and apply any settings to the column “An Unexplainable Life” —background, padding, border, etc.—none of those settings are retained upon saving. I press save on the element and before I can even save the page, I open up the element and see that the settings have reverted to default.
I’ve encountered this same error on other sites I’m using the Enfold theme and hoping to get a fix I can apply across all of them.
Thank you.
Hi there, just wanting to see if you have a fix that is duplicatable.
Thanks!
Hi Basilis, thank you so much for the help! It appears that everything is working as it should be.
Could you please share what you did? I have a couple other sites where I’ve experienced the same issue and would love to apply the same fix.
Thank you!
Hi there, just circling back around here. Thanks!
Hi Victoria, credentials have been added. Thank you!
Hi there, just circling back around on this one.
Thank you for any help!

All is good, Rikard. This is great. I think this solution needs to be added into the Enfold Theme Documentation as a way of gaining more control over the left or right side of a grid row.
Thank you Guenni007!
Howdy Guenni007 – you are the master! Thank you, again, for being so generous with your time and helping me out here. Means a great deal to me. I already know that I don’t have anything in the café realm that would accurately convey my appreciation – so I’ll just say, BIG THANKS from a dude in Arizona who really needed the help. You made a huge difference.
Sorry about that.

At the image below, you can see what I’m thinking… so the image on the right fills up the entire grid row 1/2 column on the right.
On the left 1/2 grid row, the text does not go further than the main site boundaries as indicated by the dotted orange line.
Does that make more sense?

The main thing I am trying to accomplish is utilizing the grid row to have a full-width element on the right side (photo) while having the left side text conform to the non-fullwidth site dimensions.
Sorry about that… updated link in private
Sorry for the delay… added a ton of clients in a short period of time.
Added the credentials below. It is the home page.

Good morning Victoria! Thank you for taking the time to reply to my thread. I appreciate it!
I added the 1/1 element but it didn’t perform the expected outcome:

July 25, 2018 at 3:54 pm in reply to: Set YouTube Video or Featured Image to Full Width On Mobile Post #989754Bahahahahahahaha!!!!! I was debating between the story of the snake or the story of infinity when I posted… looks like we were thinking the same thing.
Well, now that I see you are a true coffee connoisseur, I suppose I’ll transform my SBUX gift card into words…
I was blown away that someone who was not a moderator would take such an interest in my thread and before a moderator even saw it, you took time to solve it. Honestly, it made my day. Kindness is greatly underrated and knowing that there is someone like you out there who is looking after guys like me, well, it really makes me happy.
I don’t meant to over exaggerate or make a big deal out of what maybe so many would seem as small. I am just very grateful. The Kriesi support forums are a happier place because of you.
Thank you very much and please let me know if there’s anything I can do to return the favor. If I can I will.
Sincerely,
Dave Shrein

You can see the white lines indicating how I’d like to create the diagonal.
Does that make sense?

Unfortunately, after I applied the css in my general styling and saved, it did not change the display. Originally the post had been a video format, so I went ahead and made it standard and unchecked the “do not display featured image on post” box. That still didn’t work.
I have since restored the post to video format and checked the “do not display featured image” box.
Any other thoughts?
