  • Hi Victoria,

thanks for following up! My intention is, to have a small picture (which I created intentionally to be in a specific size of 595x315px and not bigger) that can link to a gallery in a lightbox view. That small picture should not be part of the gallery displayed in the lightbox. It’s just the trigger. That’s my goal. Do you see any way, that I can achieve this?

And the other question was about the magnification. Any hint for me, in which direction I need to go to solve this?

Thanks for your efforts helping me

    Hi there,

I would really love to see this feature too, in some future versions of Enfold!
Hence I was looking for ‘upvoting’ this feature request on the link https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/
But I can’t find it there. Was it removed?

    @Kahman
: I understand you placed a feature request on the respective feature request page, as advised by Rikard, correct? If not, then I will do it. Please either of you, kindly let me know.

    Thanks,
    N

Just checked. Sorry, ftp should be without http://
    It is otherwise correct.

    Thanks for your work!

    Hi Yigit,

I too have trouble activating the debug mode. I am getting the following error message:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /kunden/469704_23843/webseiten/ambtax/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/functions.php:1) in /kunden/469704_23843/webseiten/ambtax/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 1114

Kindly advise how to remove this error message. I have no idea what this could mean.
    Thanks a lot!

    Hi Enfold-Team,

this thread is from 2016 however I would like to hang on to it: I checked both options as suggested, neither of them works for me: I have already built up a long list of testimonials with the advanced layout builder. Looks super nice and I would like to add these testimonials now in other places/sidebars of my website too. What is the way for me to do that, without having to re-write the whole stuff once again from the beginning (using the standard editor, clicking on magic wand tool, doing all again, one-by-one… just to obtain the shortcode)?

Thanks in advance for your reply!

in reply to: Google Maps #669573

    Hi there,

I followed the steps as pointed out here and just can’t get it working:
I am running the latest version of WP and Enfold.
I don’t have any caching plugins active.
I created the API key for maps as pointed out in the instruction posted by Yigit.
On the Google API side, all worked as expected, I got to that point with the pop up window with an API key, copied it and pasted it in the newly available field in Enfold settings.
When opening my contact page, where I am expecting to see the maps, I get the “Oops, something went wrong…” message and the Java Script console informs me:

Google Maps API error: MissingKeyMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#missing-key-map-error_.bb @ js?v=3.24&ver=1:32

I very much appreciate your advice (Yigit, Mensmaximus, others…)
Here is the link to my website: http://tianmeng-academy.com/contact/
I can create a temporary Admin account on request.

    Thanks for your experienced help!

EDIT: It works now! I think the problem was, that I had TWO maps on that page. I just removed one of them (which was inserted using the Google Map widget) and suddenly the other one (which was inserted by use of the layout builder>media element>Google Map) could be displayed. So, I can describe the problem as well as the solution, without actually understanding the technical issue behind it.

in reply to: Grid Slidshow with Enfold possible? #592546

    Dear Josue,

thanks a lot for your reply – you are absolutely right! This Masonry element (once placed in a grid row = going full width) does the job! I am happy to solve this issue with Enfold itself and don’t need to purchase other plugins on Themeforest. There is only one little issue – if you could advise on this one too, then the whole job is done perfectly: I want to display the title/caption in the centre of the image, not at the bottom. I assume I would need to change a few lines of php in one of the theme files (I am of course working with a child theme). Can you tell me which line I need to modify (and how?)

Caption in the middle of the image

A GREAT thanks in advance Josue :-)

in reply to: Transparent header problems #527882

    Hi Ismael & Andy,

this takes so long to be fixed… I appreciate really if you could help me to solve it completely now!! Is there any way I can get continuous support from one of yo guys without several days gap inbetween each follow up? I just purchased the theme again today, I love it so much, but this one thing remains unfixed.
You have the access to my site, you can see there that I updated the theme to the latest version – and there is absolutely no change. Fresh install, WordPress, no other plugins… The header is supposed to be transparent, like in your restaurant demo, yet I am trying all settings and it seems not to affect the header. Pls help me. It is getting urgent now!

    Thanks a lot.

This is the header I want: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-restaurant/
And this is the header I have: http://aventori.ws/tawu_2015/

    Hi Ismael,

maybe I typed the address wrong? Pls find it once again here below. Thanks!
I hope this message fins you soon. I need to finish my project by the end of this week.

    Best regards,,

in reply to: Transparent header problems #525426

    Hi Ismael,

thanks for getting back to me!
Well, the header is set to transparent. I just checked it once again. Please see below the login details in the private content. If you could help me to choose the correct settings, I would really be happy! Ideally if we could solve this still today, because I am working on a parallel project where I need this to be done asap. The site I mentioned here is just a test page which I set up as fresh installation with nothing but WordPress and Enfold so that I can understand the settings without having other plugins creating problems.

    Thanks a lot in advance

in reply to: Transparent header problems #524202

    Hi there,

I have the same problem (in all browsers, Chrome, Safari….) and it is a fresh installation WordPress + Enfold with no other plugins active. I imported the demo content for the restaurant which came with the theme. All the content and pictures show up, the header is set to be transparent in the page settings, etc.
However, the header is not transparent, does not show the background picture beneath as I want to. No change on scrolling from transparency to solid color happens.
What I want to have: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-restaurant/

Please have a look at it, as I am unable to see the solution. Thanks a lot!!

Ok I can reply to myself here: The plugin Simple Image Sizes (https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/) allows to control the image sizes rendered by WordPress as well as stop WordPress from creating unwanted sizes if you put zero in the respective image size fields. That wasn’t clearly stated somewhere but it worked for me. Maybe this is of help for someone else.

    Best
